I was able to score a last minute appointment at Felangi for a pedicure on a Sunday afternoon. I was visiting Boise on a business trip and didn't have a car so was limited to what was available downtown. While I've stayed across the street from the salon on other visits, I had no idea it was there. You enter the building, go upstairs and towards the back of the building before you finally find it. The space was very clean and quiet. There were only a handful of people working that afternoon. My nail tech was quick to get me seated and made sure the water was a good temp. I was given a bunch of polish samples to look through. Overall the pedicure itself was great. She did an awesome job cutting down my nails, trimming my cuticles, and taking care of my calluses. I gave a four star instead of five because of the paint job. It was a lighter polish and dried really streaky. The cost of the pedi was what I would expect to pay. And I definitely would go back and just be more conscientious about color choice knowing how this one turned out. read more

When I first walked in the building I wasn't super sure about this, but don't let the building entrance fool you - Felangi is very bright and welcoming inside. The service itself was great! Went here for pedicures with my boyfriend and this is the first place I've been to that didn't short me on massage time compared to him (I suspect because I get my nails painted and he doesn't). That alone was fantastic! The pedicure itself was very relaxing, and our techs were so friendly. I also appreciated that they checked in with me about how my toe nails looked and double checked before painting them if there was anything I wanted adjusted before they began. I found the pricing very reasonable, it was very clean inside, and I appreciated the comfortable massage chairs. Definitely will be back! read more

I've frequented Felangi a few times now and honestly it's the best. Jaida is a gem! She always does the best work on my feet and she's so pleasant. All of ladies there are friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is welcoming and clean - highly recommend this spot! read more

got my nails done for Valentine's Day and my first time going to this salon. I got gel x extensions and they were super cute at first. Later in the day, I noticed that the nail tips were seemingly bigger than my actual nails and it's been over a week since getting them done and they are all about to pop off. Would not recommend and never going back! Way too expensive too including a tip, also took a very long time! read more

Elizabeth, Felangi's owner, is one of the most experienced nail artists I've ever worked with. I've lived in Boise three years, and I feel very lucky to have found her; I wouldn't go to anyone else. Anything you ask of her, she offers it and does it well. She trains her stylists to be as precise as she is, all areas of her salon are kept spotless and everyone is very friendly. Her prices are very reasonable for the level of excellence I've always enjoyed, and I'm complimented all the time on my nails. My daughter and I came as a walk in and were able to get seen right away. Alyssa did a great job on my mani/pedi, and same with my daughters technician (sorry didn't get her name.) Only giving 4 stars since the price of our regular polish mani/pedi was $80 each (for regular polish) not including my 20% tip. I'm really sorry to leave this review, I had high hopes for this place. It's very clean, the staff are very friendly. But my nails look terrible. She didn't work on my calluses, and she didn't remove any dead skin. She barely took the dirt off my nails, I still have dirt under my nails. But the worst part was that my nails weren't dry, and she told me they were, and by the time I got home, my pedicure was completely ruined. Like it's not even on one of my toes, and the rest are smeared and smooshed. I paid $70ish for a terrible pedicure that I'm redoing myself at home right now. So disappointing read more

I'm not an avid reviewer, but when I got my nails done by Gea, I was really blown away the whole time! She was amazing and was constantly checking in on her work and getting approval along the way:) she was better than any LA nail tech I've had in 6 years of getting gel x, and the 15 years of getting regular polish! They lasted over a month and that's easily the longest I've ever had nails for! The place was also very clean and pretty! I wish I lived in Boise for the nails:) read more
