I will say that after going there for about a year, this was my first bad experience, so I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went in on a Sunday and waited almost an hour to be seen after being told the wait would only be about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, my gel polish started coming off within 24 hours. I went back to the salon, and the manager asked if it had been 48 hours. Her son immediately responded, "No," and even remembered that I had just been there recently. Needless to say, they fixed my nails, and I left thinking everything was taken care of and that I would have nice polish for my upcoming trip. Well... the very next day, while in Mexico, I got in the pool for maybe 10 minutes, and multiple toes were already missing polish. By the third day of my trip, I had NO polish left on my toes. When I called the salon to discuss what happened, I was told that it had been more than 48 hours and that I would have to pay for a "new" service. At this point, it's not even about the money--it's about doing what's right. As a returning customer of a year, I expected better customer service and for the salon to stand behind its work, especially when the same issue had already happened once before. Needless to say, I'm now looking for a new salon--one that understands that sometimes wrong is wrong and values its returning customers.

I was immediately met with attitude on my request for a later time, even though that was the original time I had asked for. Then when I hung up, I got a text from someone in the nail salon at the time, that the lady on the phone was going around talking badly about me. So I cancelled my appointment and won't be returning. I have seen this happen on other occassions to other customers when I have been in the salon. It's a reoccurring theme of not respecting clients and unprofessionalism. I will say, the one male who works there does the best job if you must go to this salon, request him.
