@highlight I highly recommend that you DO NOT take your vehicles to the tire shot next door from Leith's Flower shop. I went a month ago to have 4 brand new tires put on. Needless to say a month later still dealing with the issue. We dropped my Land Rover off to have 4 tires and 4 stems put on. We got the truck back and the back passenger tire was put on backwards and the front drivers side stem was so far in that it was losing air over night and the could barely get the cap off to put air in it. We brought it back, and the said come next week and we'll fix it. Went back next week and we got u need to leave it for the weekend. Dropped it off on Friday and was told to pick it up Saturday. Saturday came and said they couldn't do it because no delivers on Saturday come Monday at 2pm and it'll be ready. I go pick up said vehicle and the car was in garage getting worked on. Guy says give me an hour and a half and u can pick it up. I'm like are you kidding me. This wouldn't have happened had u not done it right the first time around. Guy says I'm uneducated and unprofessional. Well I'm not the tire mechanic but it doesn't take education to know a tire is on backwards. The lady for the office came out, threatened to hit me, told my friend to put me in the car and threatened to call the police. I said call them, cause had this not have happened in the first place this wouldn't be happening. Then she had the audacity to come threaten me again this time on video. Yes, on video and not to mention my husband's voicemail as well. Then blames the lug nuts for the problem. Which he had 10 brand new ones to change when he did this. I didn't know lug-nuts changed tires tho . Moral of the story is, if you want to be safe and tires done well and not be threatened I would highly and strongly recommend that u do not take your car there for tires. The bitch even had the audacity to tell him to put my tire on backwards just to get me out of their yard. I have video of this happening too! read more

Would highly recommend this shop! They were very professional, helpful and had great prices. I appreciated that everything that needed to be done on my vehicle was always explained well and I could understand what was going on. I will be bringing my car here for all future repairs. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. After getting a tire patched on Thursday I was told that I needed new lug nuts which I said was okay and paid for. The next day not even an hour into my shift as a driver my wheel began to rattle and shake and upon checking on it I found that all lug nuts were the wrong size and were coming loose very quickly. My tire iron wouldn't fit them as they were the wrong size so I had to have the car towed back to the same shop to have the lugs AND studs replaced due to being stripped by the wrong size lugs being forced on with a torque gun. My car then sat at the shop for 5 days as I was told multiple times that the owner would be coming in the next day to fix it. After missing 3 shifts of work and going 5 days without my car I went to pick it up only to find that they still wanted to charge me for the parts they broke. Even with 2 clearly different size lug nuts now in my possession the owner tried to deny putting the wrong size on in the first place and continued to try to tell me that they did me a 'favor' by putting on the wrong size, damaging my vehicle, and wasting both my time and my money. I used to recommend this place frequently to anyone who needed a good used tire but now I wouldn't even suggest my worst enemy get a tire patched here. read more

I never ever like to leave bad reviews, especially for a local business but I have an experience at UTP that lasted 8 days and I need to share so people can be informed. We brought my husbands car there last Monday and I had a list of work that needed to be done. I was happily surprised that they were willing to use the control arm that we had already purchased when my husband was going to do the job himself. We also needed the exhaust welded and an inspection sticker (which they sent the car to another shop for those 2 items since they don't do them there) I wasn't expecting to get the car back the same day cause we were working with several schedules where it had to be sent to another shop and that was fine. I was told it would be ready Tuesday. It wasn't. I was told on tues in order for it to get a sticker we needed to replace the 2 front tires, I said just do it. This is where all the trouble started.. I was told it would be ready later in the day, it wasn't. I was told it would be ready by 11 on Wednesday again it wasn't ready, same thing happened Thursday and Friday each time the woman on the phone said it would be ready by either 11 or 12. When it wasn't ready Friday we were told FIRST THING SATURDAY MORNING it would be worked on , we heard nothing so around noon my husband called them and the woman on the phone said she guaranteed it would be ready by the time the shop closes. I bet you can't believe what happened next? Once again it wasn't ready... Shocker. My husband was very mad and wanted to pick it up anyway but I told him "hey let's just leave it and let them make it right on Monday morning". He finally agreed and before we left we asked "it will be done first thing Monday"? The answer was yes. I have to say I wasn't shocked when we hadn't heard from them by 11 today. Once again my husband called and he was told it would be ready by 2 or 2:30, this TIRE SHOP was still waiting to get their hands on the tires, which I'm sure was a flat out lie. 3 pm rolls around and I decide I am not calling them anymore, I went down there to see what was going on. I know this is long but we are just getting to the good part, folks. I look all around and the car isn't even there. So I went and found the owner and asked if it was ready, he said no can you give me another hour? I asked him where the car was and he tells me that THE WOMAN AT THE COUNTER TOOK IT TO GO RUN ERRANDS FOR HIM. He went into the counter area and called her. I asked him why she was driving my car and he said "this never happens" what never happens?? You have employees driving customers cars or that you actually get caught.. I think that's an excellent question. I was told she was in Derry picking up car parts cause it was faster for her to use my car rather than to unhook his boat from his truck. He tells me to come back at 4:40 and it will be there and ready. I get back at exactly that time and she still wasn't back. I express that I am upset by this and told him he was unprofessional and he told me "what's done is done". She finally pulls up driving my car and she is very apologetic and asking what she can do to make it right (owner never seemed to be very sorry, he made it seem like this was acceptable behavior) she asked if she should give me gas money, umm she probably should have replaced the gas while she was out.. but that's the least of my problem. She told me she was sorry but she got a call and had to pick her daughter up because there was an emergency. Only her daughter pulled up with a friend in a car behind them. I said oh he said you went to Derry to get car parts, they can't even get their lies right!!!! Then she said she did that and picked her daughter up but no car parts or children were in the car so I still don't know what my car was being used for and why. As if this wasn't all bad enough I had to deal with her daughter and the owners son making faces at us the whole time and laughing while we waited for the tires. I told the owner at the very end as if this wasn't a mess enough the disrespect was over the top. read more

I had a leaky rear tire on the passenger's side, and places I looked first were either booked or closed. UTP was closed when I called them, but he stayed late to help me. I thought I needed a new tire, but he found a hole in the tire and was able to patch it. He went right to work on it and was fast and friendly. He said it's free to fix any future issues with this tire. I highly recommend UTP Plaistow. Say hello to their bullmastiff Oliver while you're waiting. read more

I've been going to its utp quite frequently for my vehicles, I had some handy work done to my car other than tires, in the process we took off my front bumper, and I was told it would be kept till I can grab it. I call back 2-3 weeks later, without notice tells me the parts were thrown out. The owner knew parts were mine and has my number on file. All I asked for was $60 for the grill piece, the bumper was a little wrecked, could've been repaired, but shouldn't of been thrown out. They took off the light bar too, I had no use for it, they threw on one of there trucks, I knew of this through visiting them, seeing it on the truck. When I brought the light bar to his attention he gave me the most bull shit response that I was expecting from him. I'd appreciate my front grill back, it was in mint condition. Only $60 on eBay too. read more

Let me say this first, I've never had my tires done here. However, I work close by, so I've seen my share of interesting things happening over there. I'm almost 100% sure the employees smoke weed. I can smell it all the time over there. What you do on your own time is your business, but when you're at work it shouldn't be allowed. Especially because they test drive the vehicles! Also, today I saw something interesting. They had a load of old tires in a trailer out back, and two of the employees were out there with a can of black paint, painting the tires! At first I thought it was possibly a sealant, but I could see the black paint on one of the employees gloves. They also had a tarp on the ground so that when he rolled it down to the next guy, it wouldn't get dirt on it. Disguising old tires to look new? Isn't that illegal?! If not, it's immoral! I know people buy used tires, and that's fine, but to make them look new seems deceiving. I also know they use a kerosene heater in the garage (which they're not supposed to), and quite often it fills the flower shop next door with a terrible odor. The front parking lot is always full of trucks and trailers, and there's hardly ever anywhere to park. Again, I have never used them for any tire needs, but with all I've seen and know, I wouldn't go there and I really wouldn't recommend it! read more
