I live in Boston but my Volvo guru here in Newbury recommended Coastal Collision to have some cosmetic work done including installation of front OEM winglets (already paint matched) as part of the S60R's sport kit, repair of a lower trim piece that was a casualty of opening and scraping on a curb and fixing some clips on the front and rear bumper covers. I spoke with Tony on a Friday and he was able to fit me in on a Wednesday of the following week (Memorial Day weekend) and the car was completed early Thursday morning. Tony was extremely knowledgable going over each component and the steps they would take to install/repair while keeping my bottom line in mind. Tony even dissuaded me from respraying the front bumper cover (didn't need it anyway since the winglets would cover the small rock chips and the labor cost to dismantle and reinstall would be high) as well as not going the route of replacing/painting a totally new trim piece. I am ridiculously meticulous with my car and Coastal truly exceeded all my expectations especially on their workmanship, professionalism, communication and overall cost. I expected the job to be a lot more $$ for what they accomplished - the price was lower than the estimate. Tony is a straight shooter and his honesty and transparency is refreshing. I did not have any paint work or blending done but in my mind, I would not hesitate at all to return to Coastal for any of my vehicle's bodywork/painting or custom installation needs. CC's customer service is great. The guys are so friendly and professional. They worked directly with Liberty Mutual - even when needing to request a supplement. In addition to the parts that needed replacing, they needed to paint match the repairs and my Accord is 9 year old. After my fender bender, my bumper had been duct taped to my fender, my grille was broken, the tip of my hood was bent, my headlamp was cracked, and my car looked like it had a fat lip. Five stars for these guys... Guys there are real helpful & friendly. Wanted a particular part for my truck. They had a small problem with there main distributor being OOS but was still able to get it for me. Super fast, said the next day they would have it. It was late, right before closing time, so I was figuring that they wouldnt be there for 2 days. Well, I was wrong, next day I stopped by and sure enough was there. When it came to price I was expecting to pay more then what I was seeing online. I was charged $6 more then most online price I was seeing. That is before shipping costs. AND again I HAD THEM THE NEXT DAY... No way that would happen if I ordered from some speed shop or AmazonE-bay w/out paying a lot more for overnight shipping.. I've gone to Coastal on two different occasions and I've been really happy both times. #1. They popped out a dent my husband got in the corner of the fender of his new Lexus. They only charged me $60 - I was amazed. #2. My old Toyota Land Cruiser had a black swipe that emphasized the small dent running down the passenger side. (From a slow moving accident that wasn't my fault - seriously). I had them buff it out and touch up the paint. They did a really nice job and now I don't notice the dent. Plus it only ran me $120, a decent price for that took them two hours. Wish I had fixed it sooner. These guys are really nice and do a great job. I'd recommend them! read more

I've lived in the area for many years and have dealt with most of the service stations/auto body shops in the area. I brought my SUV here last summer to have the running boards replaced. Coastal did it WHILE I WAITED, and the cost was almost $200 less than I had been quoted anywhere else. Since I had such a good experience, I brought it back to have some rust spots fixed (yeah, it's a Ford) before winter started and to have my rear bumper fixed. Backed into the porch at 2AM rushing to the ER for Mom, but insurance doesn't cover "stupid". Price I had been quoted was exactly the price I paid! Paint job on this 2005 Explorer was perfect, and I know it was hard to match. They even cleaned and vaccumed the inside!! Tony was so polite, professional and honest. I was really impressed with their honestly and ability to be proactive regarding any insurance issues. I had my 2013 Grand Cherokee Overland rear bumper fixed up and they found an issue underneath and called my insurance got it approved to be covered as well then gave me a call. I wasn't the best customer as I had to change my appointment twice, which I would hate, but they understood and I can't recommend Coastal Customs enough. These guys do some excellent work, particularly with exhaust jobs. I've had various small welding jobs done by them throughout the years and have always been satisfied with the quality of work. Very pleasant and helpful people to talk to, too. This place does a better job than most local places, although they will run a bit high on prices. They will almost always knock a quite a bit off the price if you come with someone who is buddies with one of the guys who run the place. Otherwise, prices can get to be on the high side as compared to other garages and shops on the North Shore. Don't hesitate to go here if you want the job done once and done right, but be ready to pay on the higher side unless you 'know a guy who knows a guy'. read more

Great friendly service. I had them install a Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust system and EIBACH Pro-Kit springs on my 2016 Camaro SS. Their labor charge was better than what I expected. The car's stance looks great and the it sounds so much better. It was worth driving over an hour to their shop. I checked other shops closer to home and their labor to install those items were sky high. I would definitely do business with Coastal Customs again. read more
