The experience was good but I don't like the unexpected extra costs for additional oil beyond 5qts that's simple wrong. Price your oil changes per vehicle type. Also $5 for an old seal? WTF is that. I have been a long time customer and then Pierre sold the company this past January. I figured i would give them a try even though i heard negative reviews. I had a check engine light come on, $400 later it was turned off with a small repair. Light came back on, another $425 dollars. After 5 days, the light is back on again. I called and got " Wow, no way." No offer to look at it again...a couple of the guys up front were nice, but this is now a chain, and overall crappy service. I was a long time customer for years there. 10+ years. Pierre recently retired and some company took then over. I had dumped in over 3k for new tires and brakes had squeeking they couldn't figure it out they said it was the brake holders so another 1k to get this fixed then shortly after the eye sight system went bonkers in 2020 Subaru with 100k miles turned out it was the transmission so I question did they sabotage something anyways I was dealing with Alex he was suppose go call me back for a quote which he never did I waited two weeks so I gave up and I went electric. They use to be good but my recent experiences with the new company just a complete nightmare and a lot of unanswered questions about them. I cannot tell people to stay away from them but I will never go back there for anything, I wish them best truly a nightmare read more

The team at Quick Stop is wonderful. Pierre is super fair in his pricing and willing to stand behind all of the work that they do. They are able to work on approximately 4 to 5 cars at a time. The shop goes all the way to the back with a few bays. If you are looking for specific tires he is able to get them for you; quickly. Sometimes the same day if needed. Do not use this tire shop. I could not be more disappointed in their service. Last fall (2018) I bought four brand new, very expensive BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires from them, and had them mounted. They mounted them no problem. Now keep in mind that the old tires had over 60K miles on them. They were basically slicks. It was time for new tires, and Quick Stop was offering a $70 rebate on four new BF Goodrich tires. I thought why not. This September, 2019 my tires started to vibrate at speed on the highway. I went back to Quick Stop to have them rebalance my four main tires since I bought them there. It was a simple balancing job. In my mind it would be an hour, hour and a half at most. After a considerable wait, Pierre comes out and says "It's going to take a long time. You have bad lug nuts on there. They are stripped. They are a bad design. We can't get the wheels off. You should come back later." Uggh OK?!?! So I got a Lyft home. After getting home I waited for a follow up phone call. Nothing. Shortly before closing on the same business day, I called Quick Stop to get an update on the situation. A woman answered the phone, and said "Yes, sorry we are still working on getting the lug nuts off. We ordered a special tool that will be here in the morning." Now keep in mind this is a TIRE SHOP. They are not equipped to remove "badly designed" or damaged lug nuts? THEY WERE THE ONES WHO PUT THEM ON WITH THE NEW TIRES! About midday, the following day, I still had heard nothing. So, again I had to make a follow up call. Upon answering, I was told that Quick Stop had cracked my wheel while trying to remove it. I was then told that they found a replacement in a local salvage yard and would replace it for minimum cost. I wasn't sure what that meant. The cost of labor I was thinking? They broke the wheel... Shortly before the end of the business day I stopped back at the shop. To say I was shocked and appalled is an understatement. They charged me for a new used rim, which looks like it was at the bottom of the salvage pile. It's awful. And for a bunch of other parts, cleaning compounds and the balancing my spare tire that I never asked them to balance in the first place. My simple request, to balance four tires, that I bought from Quick Stop Tire Shop less than a year ago cost me $249.94 I should have known better....considering I never received my $70 rebate that I was promised with the purchase of the four new tires. Their prices were high, the wait was long, and their work was not thorough. I paid for an alignment, and when i left there, my car shook, and pulled on the highway. These guys are scam artists! They failed my car's tires during an inspection, charged me $40, and then proceeded to try to sell me tires. My tires were worn but not that bad. So, on a whim, I went somewhere else, and guess what... the tires passed! These ignorant scammers told me I had 30 days to get re-inspected...WRONG! They scraped off my current sticker...WRONG. They even lied in the state's computer system about the reason for failing! I then went back to give them a chance to "make it right" and refund my $40. The owner, Pierre, and his buddy got in my face, tried to play tough guy, started cursing and remedial name calling, and proved to me what low life scumbags they really are! As the name suggests this is a tire shop and I would highly suggest sticking to just that as their prices for tires are unbeatable! However, I thought I'd get my oil changed there too since they've done a good job on the tires but their mechanic decided not to put the cap back on tightly when he was done and I had a slow oil leak for a few days until my car completely broke down on rt 128.... NOT IDEAL and almost fully destroyed my engine. It's not like I was asking them to rebuild a car from the ground up. It's an oil change!!!!! Give me a break. read more

This guy is an absolute scam artist! Been here a couple of times with people saying good things about the mechanics. All he does is finds pricey things that he thinks are wrong with a car and then works out the most ill-conceived and time consuming way to fix it (i.e. the thing that will make him the most money). Was referred to Pierre by someone I knew ; called for a price quote on new tires as one was bald and one was flat. Provided me with a quote for $240 for 4 new tires. Explained I could only afford 2 at the moment - would get 2 this week and 2 next week, Pierre said it would only be $120 plus free rotation! Dropped my car off and when I picked it up he was charging my card the full $240 price. We argued back and forth because not even Tire Warehouse or Townfair Tire would charge $240 for TWO tires for a Honda Accord. There is no way when we spoke in the morning that there was a miscommunication or I misunderstood. I would have called around for a better price. I am in the customer service business myself and am very dissapointed. I had to pay him $50 to remove the 2 new tires and put my 2 old ones back on. He also refused to put my SPARE tire on and put back on the tire that was flat so I had to actually stop at another garage for help to change it to drive home. Overall experience was VERY bad. I recently purchased two complete sets of Nokian snow tires from Pierre and Quick Stop Tire and could not have been happier with all aspects of the transactions. I found the tires I wanted (if you need snow tires research Nokian) and this was one of the only shops in the area that carry them. Pierre responded immediately with a written quote via email (cheaper than many "discount" online stores) and scheduled the installations. Because I've been conditioned by other shops to believe I need an alignment every time I install my winter tires I requested a four wheel alignment and was pleasantly surprised when I cashed out after only 45 minutes and was told I didn't need an alignment. Same thing the next day with the second car - in and out, no alignment needed (hmmm, wonder if I really needed them in the past?!). On top of it all the place is spotless and has a comfy waiting area, though you won't be there long! Absolutely outstanding and a pleasure to do business with - highly recommended. read more
