When I arrived the gentleman came right out to my car to greet me. I asked him if he was available to do a full synthetic oil change. He pulled my car in, explained to me how it worked, quoted me and then performed the service. Although the companies price is expensive, I appreciate the speed and quality of the service as well as the fact that I didn't need to get an appointment prior to going. I also appreciate that when I told the mechanic that I did not want any up services offered they did not continue to pressure me. I would recommend this Jiffy Lube location. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! My normal shop was busy so I went here for an inspection sticker and they told me my right rear break pad was worn down to the metal so they wouldn't pass me but I knew that wasn't true so I left after paying for a rejection sticker that he never gave me. I went to my normal place, Sullivan tire and they said my pads were fine so my fiancé called to complain and the guy swore Sullivan was lying so we checked ourselves and all the break pads are completely fine and worn down the same amount. They take advantage of people, especially women. Waste of my time and money. read more

This morning was my 1st time at this location. One car ahead - so the wait wasn't too long. It appears that they are following most, if not all mandates due to the virus. My car is far from new & also perfect...but it's awesome just the same. I understand that it's their job to go over & inform a customer of anything wrong and also recommendations. And it's up to me which I decide to do and what not to do.....it's my car? So, I had to sit tight and listen. Usually I get through any of this without pressure... I will add that this time it became uncomfortable to the point where I probably will not return to this location. The work that they did do appears to be good. It's disappointing that they aren't able to vacuum the car due to Covid-19...but understandable. THE NEGATIVE: We just had an election. To some it's over with a president elect. To others it's not.. However, PLEASE know enough to keep your opinions to yourself. A customer should NEVER have to listen to them! I'm there for an oil change only! Very unprofessional to say the least. And this added to the uncomfortable circumstances I'd already been through with the recommendations.. I will try another location next time because I can't go through this again... read more

I have been here many times in the past without any issue or concern. But today, when I pulled up for an oil change there was no other cars in a line or the garage. It was 1:35 and I was told that the workers were on lunch break and could I return in about 30mins. I am nearly 8mos pregnant and had my son with me so I wasn't sure, but when I pulled away I decided to go to the market and return. I returned at about 3p, again no other cars in sight . I was approached by two workers , but told that they had three guys on and something about a lunch break wrapping up- maybe about 20minutes? I literally battled the local area traffic and insanity of that market that I never shop in- to stay in the area and give them the time (with an additional HOUR) to be told to wait "about 20 minutes" before a service ? I had already dragged out time and had a hungry 7 year old (and my pregnant self) The man who primarily spoke to me was not genuinely apologetic - but either way I was very frustrated and over it at that point It turned out to be a significant inconvenience to try to initially abide by their time request Why I would lunch breaks be effecting any and all service with "3 guys on" between 130-3/330?" Why would there be NO coverage for service when one is on a break? It makes no sense- it was very inconvenient- and it was all for nothing. Getting an oil change here, the valve on my tire snapped when they were filling the tire- at first I flipped but the new manager kept his cool, paid for the valve to be replaced and also discounted my oil change. It was unfortunate timing, would have likely happened the next time I went to add air so I couldn't stay mad at the staff. A couple of the guys actually got on the phone to call around to places in the area that could help me right away- I was very impressed with how they handled this situation. read more

Marc was awesome! I brought in my Mini Cooper s for a synthetic oil change and to get my brakes done. He explained to me that my brakes and the brake fluid were perfectly fine. He even showed me that it was clean. My car was just giving me a notification to just get them checked out. I felt like I wasn't getting suckered into anything. He was very honest! Hi Jiffy Lube Team, I wanted your leadership to know that Johnny, Assistant Manager at Store 01491 in Plaistow New Hampshire, went above and beyond the expected service excellence I have come to enjoy from your stores. Unfortunately I recently totaled my 2014 Toyota Camry Hybrid which I had serviced at the Haverhill store, and the insurance company was struggling to find the right mileage amount to value my car. On a whim, I called to see if the mileage was available from my last service. It was, and so Johnny found the invoice, scanned it, and e-mailed it to me so I could give the insurance company a much closer actual number. Johnny didn't have to do that and I wouldn't have complained if he chose not too, but he went above and beyond for me and in return I felt I owed it to him and your team to share this story. Hopefully the correct mileage will increase the value of the totaled car and in return the extra positive feedback will increase vehicle traffic to your stores! Of course there is no way to know exactly, but the more positives is obviously better :) Thanks to Johnny and Jiffy Lube for making my day! Have a GREAT 2017! read more

I went for an oil change and state inspection sticker, as I do every year. They told me my car did not pass because of lights(true), front brakes, and a damaged bumper. I told them my mechanic said the front breaks pass inspection and that the bumper has been damaged for four years now! The manager rudely informed me that he had printed out the reason for failure. That's it. That's all he said. I left very upset and pulled into the next nearest inspection garage. I told them nothing about what Jiffy Lube said. Ten minutes later they tell me the lights need changing, the breaks pass and laughed when I asked if the damage on the bumper would prevent a passing inspection! Do NOT go to this Jiffy Lube. They are incompetent! read more

I have only visited this location once, and based on that one utterly miserable experience, I will certainly not be returning. I went in for my yearly car inspection thinking it would be a quick in-and-out visit. I was sorely mistaken. There was only one car in front of mine at the garage, so I sat patiently in the waiting room. However, this one car took about 2.5 hours before it was done and mine was looked at. In the meantime, customers who came in an hour and even an hour and a half after me were given attention immediately and were long gone before my car was even looked at. The customer service was horrendous, as they didn't even acknowledge my existence until after the 2.5 hours when my car had undergone its 15-minute inspection. They did not even offer an apology for the long wait or offer an explanation as to why every other customer had been addressed before me. Perhaps my experience here is unique and others will not have a problem at this location. However, first impressions matter and so does proper customer service, and based on this first visit and the bare minimum of service that was provided, I would not recommend this location. read more

We have been going to this Jiffy Lube with all 3 of our vehicles for over 5 years and have never had anything like we did today. Today, my sunglass case and sunglasses (Smith Polarchromics ~$200) were sitting in the front passenger seat when I arrived and when I got home I noticed they were gone I searched all through my car thinking maybe they moved them to vacuum, even the trunk, and didn't find a thing. I contacted the establishment to let them know and they said they would investigate and call me back. Thirty minutes later and still no call, I called them back and of course they couldn't find them and insinuated that I was wrong because they have never had one of their staff do anything like this so I must be mistaken. I will never take any of our vehicles back and will recommend to others they don't as well. I will be filing a police report tomorrow when I can go into the local Plaistow PD. read more
