Loved my experience. My make up was perfectly matched to what I needed and my skin, the advice was expert. The environment is clean and welcoming. My massage was amazing and professional. My pain was properly addressed and my therapist was calm and delivered a great spa experience. I was offered a drink which was a nice touch. Before I had a pedi and I loved it. My feet were properly removed of hard callous and the pedi was very well done. I'm fussy on having clean cuticles and it was a perfect job. My usual masseuse was all booked up so I decided to try a fancier spa where they pamper you and give you robes and all that good stuff. I found Utopia Spa and Boutique on google and liked what I saw on their website. I also liked the fact that the website said they provide robes and fancy drinks. Just what I was looking for! Oh ya, it was pretty convenient that they had availability with 3 days notice. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the front desk girl was very friendly and offered to take my coat. Their lounge area is so beautiful but their pedicure station is even more gorgeous! I couldn't stop staring at the big pedicure bowls lol. It just looked so glamorous. I filled out my form and my masseuse was ready to take it as soon as I was done. Most of my stars are going to the actual masseuse and massage. She was so friendly and sweet and boy, did she have power! She definitely murdered my knots with her forearm. I really wanted to give this place at least 4 stars, but the environment was just too noisy. I could hear every door open and close and people's conversations. I would hear all the loud laughter, and it was just not relaxing. The spa isn't too big either, so I guess it's kind of hard to avoid all the noise. Perhaps have the massage rooms as far back as possible, or enforce lower voices while a massage is in session? The massage room itself is cozy and they have a heating pad on the beds. There's a cute little fireplace in the corner and they turn the lights down really low while the massage is going on. Despite my experience, I might return to try out their pedicures with a girlfriend. Oh and my masseuse did offer me something to drink after the massage was done, but I declined. They also do not provide robes, slippers etc. if you're just getting a massage. I guess those are for people that book packages or have a full spa day booked. read more

I decided at the last minute to get my nails done and found Utopia Spa and Boutique on google. I decided to walk in and although the spa was completely empty had to make an appointment to get a manicure an hour later. Upon my return to the spa, I was greeted by very friendly staff. They offered me something to drink and a warm towel for my neck. The technician began on my pedicure shortly after my arrival and throughout most of the manicure was giving me a sales pitch on the other services and products they offer which I found to be a little irritating. The manicure itself was terrible. In all the years I've been getting manicures this was my first experience where a technician did not soak my fingers to soften my cuticles nor shape my nails. The application of the shellac nail polish was thick and my natural nail would show through in the corners. Although I was dissatisfied with the manicure, I paid for the service and decided I would never return to the spa again. Four days later the shellac began to peel off and I returned to the spa to make a complaint and to have it fixed. The receptionist advised me that there was nobody available to fix my nails at that time but did make an appointment for me to return the following day and that she would speak to her manager to find out "what could be done for me." I'm assuming that meant whether the reapplication would be discounted although I felt that I should not have to pay for a second manicure when the first did not last a week. By the time I arrived at home, reception called to advise that my reapplication would be complimentary. Needless to say the skill level is definitely lacking at this spa when it comes to manicures and I would advise against getting any manis or pedis from this spa. read more

Very clean; beautiful spa-- basic/not too fancy; and professional staff! Joseph RMT is so knowledgeable and can find your knots and knead them out so well. He goes real deep if you want him to. I'm kind of OCD too, and Joseph massages so evenly on both sides of my body. He is so professional! read more

REVIEW ABOUT: 1009 Maple Ave, Milton, ON L9T 0A5 --- I am very displeased about the service from this location and was hoping someone can look into it, thanks... This afternoon, I booked a appointment for next Wednesday, Dec 12 and a few hours later, at 07 pm, I got a *BLOCKED CALL* from the owner of the location. A very unprofessional call might I add... She told me they would refuse to serve me unless I removed my earlier review from Google review. I told her I wouldn't mind doing so, but not until after the appointment to base it on a fair assessment and see if they had improved their service since my last visit. She then proceeded to say that if I did not amend my review that I was not welcomed and my choices were either to remove the review or she would cancel my appointment for me. I responded that I felt my business was not wanted and I did not feel her behavior was professional. This is no way to treat a potential customer and I would be following up with head office. Of course, my first step was to change my Google review, bring it down to 1 star. I am disappointed at the lack of leadership at this location and based on her poor display of character and rude tone I urge all future patrons of this establishments to bring their business elsewhere; otherwise you are just endorsing bad behavior. read more
