I went for express facial which cost $60 and gave her my $100 gift card. And a $20 tip. Which was very dumb of me. She is the business owner and could have done multiple things to make it right. My husband bought card early and assumes it was a year. BAD BUSINESS SKILLS

The first…read morething that put me off was I called D to change my appointment from one day to the next & I was told that if I do that again, they're going to charge me. I would have been a new client & was not aware of this but I was called into work. And they did not even have my credit card yet & are already threatening to charge me. Not a great first impression. I went today and had my eyebrows tinted and when I booked the service online it said it cost $20. When I got to the register to pay, she said $30. I questioned her on the price and she said oh it's $30 I should've told you before I started. Why was this 50% more than what is posted online ?! I came home and looked on her website again and it says $20. I still left of her a generous tip anyway. While she was doing my service. I felt like the conversation was forced. It was a bit uncomfortable I felt she really had no interest in getting to know me as a potential new client. I mentioned I was interested in a lash service as well & she didn't even offer to book me or say if she had time today while I was there. Ehhhh was my experience. I see they do hair here & said the hair products smell so good. That would've been a good opening to say- "you should get your hair done here" I would've booked a cut & color if the vibe was more warm & welcoming. I need a place that does all these things & it's unfortunate it won't be this place.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Venice Nail Spa. I arrived at 5:30 PM and…read moreinformed the young girl at the front desk that I only had an hour and needed a pedicure. She repeatedly reassured me that I would be seen right away and even encouraged me to upgrade to the deluxe pedicure for a better experience, while continuing to promise that I would still be done within the hour. Unfortunately, that was far from the truth. I sat in the chair for almost 50 minutes without anyone starting my service. I went back to the front desk and explained that I needed to leave within the next 20 minutes, which was already later than I originally planned. Again, I was reassured that someone was coming immediately. At that point, they suggested I downgrade to the classic pedicure so it could be completed within my timeframe. A woman named Wendy finally came over, started setting up the station, then told me she needed to come back. After another 10 minutes passed and I again expressed frustration to the front desk, she finally returned. Even then, instead of beginning the pedicure, she spent time on the phone while the water was running. The actual pedicure itself was rushed and poor quality. My feet were barely scrubbed, and the French tip was done so poorly that another employee had to step in and finish it. What frustrates me most is that I ended up leaving two full hours after I originally arrived, paid $60, and still did not receive a quality service. I have frequented this salon before for pedicures, and this is the first time I have had such a negative experience. The biggest issue was the lack of honesty and communication from the front desk at the beginning. If I had simply been told that the salon was extremely busy and there was no guarantee I could be seen quickly, I would have left, handled what I needed to do, and come back another time. Instead, I was repeatedly reassured just to sit there waiting for two hours. Sadly, after this experience, they will not be receiving my business again.

It is beautifully decorated and had great relaxing vibes. Phyllis, my massage therapist performed a very soothing and relaxing 80 minute deep tissue massage. I legit fell asleep 3 times and woke myself up with snores LOL. I didn't even realize I was falling asleep!!! This was such a treat. Everyone I encountered was super nice and helpful. I only had 2 complaints about my experience: one was the massage technique wasn't my favorite. There was a lot of long slow motions, and maybe that's what a deep tissue massage is, so no knock to my massage therapist (she was very firm just like I like), I was just hoping for more massaging than slow rubbing. But she was great! My other complaint was that the waiting area called "The Sanctuary" was so peaceful...until a man in only a rob walked in, shortly after his lady friend came in with only a robe on and sat on his lap and kissed him. It's a small room so they were probably like 3 feet away from me. It was pretty uncomfortable to say the least. It just seemed odd to have folks together like that. Naked people kissing in such close proximity just wasn't on my relaxation list for the day. Nonetheless, I left feeling super relaxed and passed out as soon as I got home. Overall it was a good experience and a nice spa!
