Purchased a Groupon and I will not be back. Unfortunately I feel like I wasted my money…read more I have gotten microdermabrasion facials before and it was never like this one. I paid 50$ Groupon but this service is 100$ normally which is absolutely crazy for what it was at this place. There was no steam or hot towel to open pores. The machine felt different than the others I've had (less powerful almost), and no extractions (which sometimes you don't do if you use the machine since the machine gets it all but my skin deff needed it still clearly). The mask I paid to upgrade was a sheet mask that was not worth 25$ and during the mask time the person left me in the room (instead of an arm massage like they usually do). No serums or anything. No explanation of what was happening or what she was putting on me. They usually ask "any allergies. Any sun exposure. Any ____ medicine in the last week" , but this place did not ask any of those things. No forms or background asked. Usually after a facial my skin is glowing with a difference in my acne congestion. My skin usually is SOOO much smoother especially after a microdermabrasion facial but sadly after a facial here my skin looks exactly the same. Also asked me to give them a review while I was trying to check out, which was uncomfortable. Do not go here and waste 100$ on this facial.

My service at NP nails was great…read more The salon is clean, they offer you something to drink. Most of the staff is polite. The person that did my service did not speak English and this kind of took away from my experience, she was so sweet but we had no way of communicating with each other, she had to pull one of the other techs over to translate. I've never experienced this before, so for me it was a bit frustrating even though she was so nice and did a great job. Because of the language barrier I was unable to get a real time cost estimate of the extra fees and was just taken a back at my total. And because service aren't itemized on the receipt, I couldn't really tell what cost what outside of the basic service like my pedicure. Anyway, service was great but I think I would prefer to be serviced by someone I can speak to, so there is a clear understanding of what I am asking to be done and what costs if any would be associated with it. Very nice people, very thorough. Will be back!

I was super excited to go here and heard nothing but good things but sadly that was not my experience... I paid $200 to still have blonde in my hair and the red look chunky and not natural... I wanted a simple red balayage that would make my hair look good and if it wouldn't then I would have like to have been told that but instead I didn't get that. It has taken me quite some time to write this review. About two months actually. I wanted to make…read moresure that I was being fair and not writing from pure emotion. According to my previous reviews I have been a loyal customer but unfortunately no longer. I've always loved the service from the nail techs as well as the owner, Jason. For this appointment, I scheduled in advance in order to get my favorite nail tech. I learned my lesson before when I walked in and had to go with another nail tech because she wasn't available. While I waited for her, Jason offered to take my nails which he did, no problem. After finishing he placed a sheet of paper in front of me filled with handwritten names and phone numbers. He pointed to my name and asked if that was me. I happily replied yes when I recognized my phone number. He then proceeded to tell me that I had written a bad review and I needed to take it down. Taken aback I asked him to repeat it. He did. I informed him that my review honestly captured my experience and I was happy to update it. I asked him if he addressed my concerns. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or even apologizing, he continued to state that I needed to take my review down. At this point I felt bullied because I realized that this was likely something he has done before which means that the reviews are not an honest reflection of people's experiences. He went on to tell me that I could not be serviced unless I took the review down. I asked how much I owed him for taking my nails off and promptly paid him cash. I then walked out and headed to the new nail salon that just opened by my house. I hadn't gone there yet because I was willing to drive the 30 minutes to come here. This was my last trip to Concord Nail Spa. I'm very disappointed and shocked to learn that Jason, the owner bullies people into writing the reviews that he wants. He said that I should have come to him first and I actually agree with him. Had he responded to my concerns I would have done an update acknowledging that. Instead, I'm documenting this experience.

There is a wide array of stylists but only a few who honor the Groupon. I was please with everyone's professionalism and the cleanliness of the salon. I would definitely come back! Showed my stylist a picture of brown highlights, (who was aware that I was willing to pay extra for…read moretoner and balayage) and received the skunk-like stripes seen in the image below in response, leading to a nightmare journey of cover up attempts and gasps from stylists at other salons that I consulted who were shocked at "who did this" to my hair. The stylist that executed the highlights was sweet and the atmosphere was relaxing and clean, hence the 2 stars that I (dare I say generously) have given. However, the quality of the highlights were not only unlike the photo that I showed the stylist, but also poorly created in regards to lack of toning, placement, and thickness. When attempting to contact the original stylist in regards to fixing the skunk-lights, poor communication and extra charges were received in response, along with an appointment date over a week later, which is why I went over the highlights with a dark color on my own after receiving some kind advice from some Sally's Beauty staff, who were also horrified at the state of my hair. I will not be going to Elements Salon again.
