My husband and I went to a dealership looking for a particular vehicle they had on their website…read more When we got there, they said the car wasn't on their lot, but they found it at their sister dealership about 20 minutes away. While we were discussing the car, they told us it had just sold, so they started showing us other vehicles on their lot. They also took our keys so they could give us an appraisal on our trade in. We waited in the lobby for a long time when a manager came up and said the person who took our keys went home and they couldn't find them. He told us to test drive some cars while we were waiting, but when we declined, he miraculously found our keys seconds later (in his pocket). Needless to say, we grabbed our keys and walked out. We found the car at the sister dealership (that was supposedly sold) and took it for a test drive. I like the service department, but I'll never purchase a vehicle here. I'll also go elsewhere for service once my vehicle isn't under warranty anymore.

I only discovered these issues when the vehicle started making a dangerous, weird noise. It has now been 4 months, and management completely refuses to work with me to make this right. When I expressed my concerns, they literally told me that I "have to keep the car even if [I] don't feel safe. Because you bought an used car, and used car sometimes have issues" They do not care about customer safety or selling reliable vehicles. Save yourself the nightmare and go absolutely anywhere else. This dealership has really gone downhill. They no longer care about customer safety on the road. This is sales fraud and they are hiding behind the "used car" tag. They need to honor the warranty that came with the car!

I was searching all day and looking at different lots, but they either didn't have what I wanted, were too pushy, or flat out wasted my time. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. Thank you again for my Jeep, and I already have had a few people asked where I went and how did I get it at the great price I did. I definitely shared your website and will continue to do so.

Nate seriously listened to my wants on my 4Runner & made it a reality. He went above and beyond what I asked for! We dealt with Nate the entire time, from start to finish. He helped my husband & I find & customize my dream 4runner that stayed within our budget loan & monthly Pmt!!! He's not your typical sales person that tries to sell you a car ASAP just to make money off you, but rather he listened to our concerns & needs/wants & was able to answer and respond back quickly through out the entire process even when we were out of state talk about building relationships Thank you So much Nate we seriously appreciate ya! I can't tell you enough how much I my 4Runner and the constant compliments I get from folks. Definitely won't be the first or last car we purchase from you

On July 9, 2024 I purchased a 1965 Ford Ranchero from Haake Motors in Layton UT. The car was a consignment sale, but I was not able to pick it up until July 28 because the dealer got their own Utah title which was not necessary (remember it was a consignment sale). It gets even better. Haake Motors never sent the title to m y home state of Nevada until November 22, 2024, four months after I picked up the car. I previously called several times asking them to send the title. Total amateurs. I was assured the car was ready to go. After all, it was represented as a great driver in it's Las Vegas home. It was clean and appeared fine, and I checked under the hood for any apparent leaks. None found. All clean. I was told the AC was fine. I started the four hour drive back to my home and realized the air was not working, but decided to continue my trip. Within 50 miles the car was overheating. Under the hood the thermostat housing and water pump gaskets were leaking, and were cleaned up before I picked the car up. The AC hose fittings at the firewall were all hand loose, so the AC was never working. I got as far as St. George and ended up having the car transported to my home, 180 miles away. It was clear this car could not have been a Las Vegas driver...no AC and water gasket leaks. I called the dealer and spoke with the salesman telling him about my plight, and asked for consideration. Nothing ever happened. No follow-up from them. No concern. Nothing. Only a botched title transfer and vehicle misrepresentation.

Our experience with GP Motors was extremely disappointing, especially because my brother-in-law bought a vehicle here years ago and had a great experience. Unfortunately, this dealership has seriously gone downhill. Before purchasing the vehicle, my boyfriend had to push them to replace tires that were clearly sun-cracked. We were also told they would fix a TPMS issue. After the purchase, it took them an entire day to address it, but the problem still wasn't resolved. We ultimately had to make multiple trips from SLC back to GP Motors and JD Tire in Kaysville to deal with the TPMS and a separate clunking issue. GP Motors told us they would make things right, but the clunking issue still hasn't been fixed. Now they're saying they're going to put the repair through our warranty, even though the issue existed before we purchased the vehicle. The vehicle also wasn't detailed before we received it. The previous owner was a smoker, and the interior was absolutely disgusting. We spent over $100 detailing it ourselves. We would strongly caution anyone considering buying here. Get everything in writing, have the vehicle thoroughly inspected, and don't simply take their word for it. GP Motors is not an honest or trustworthy company, we would never buy a vehicle from here again.
