I was there last week when a wondeful lady was working, Elaine Terry. Apparently she rotates…read morebranches, so she's there only some of the time. She was fun, cheerful, efficient, and awesome! She joked alittle, and I loved it. I wish all the tellers knew their stuff like her, and made the atmosphere more enjoyable. An older lady got really cranky/upset with her and I watched the whole thing play out. IMO, the customer seemed dead set on being a hater of this employee. Anyhow, if only all employees could be more like Elaine, I'd enjoy waiting in line and coming in more! (We had a package we missed delivery on, so had to come get it.) Thanks Elaine for being efficient and a ray of fun sunshine. I took a photo so if you see her there and say hi if you see her. Hopefully you too leave alittle happier than when you came in.

Meh it's ok. Not as bad as some post offices but not very friendly like others. The lady who helped…read moreme didn't really speak English well (I speak Spanish fluently so it wasn't Spanish she spoke - I think this employee spoke Chinese since my kids take Chinese in school so I recognize some - but her language for sure wasn't fluent English which was unfortunate) Also be warned they have 2 doors to enter the building and they open at 8:30am. So even though I got there at 8:05 am and I was by far the first in line I had the misfortune to stand by the door they opened second (outside door) so I ended up being 7th in line and the people that got there after me at the inside door got in first. The lady employee literally walked by me standing at the door to open the other door! Frustrating! TIP: at least today December 2025 they open the INTERIOR door before the exterior door. Unlike some locations that are appointment only for passports you can do occasional walk ins here but check the days/times first since they are very specific! Also be warned: if you show up after hours and want to drop off mail in the outdoor drive thru mailbox: you CAN'T because they lock the exterior mailboxes (you know the big blue ones) after hours now to prevent mail theft!

Just a quick update. I have a choice between this post office and one in Orange on Tustin. Unless…read moremy travel takes me past the one on Tustin, I always pick this one. It's just easier to get in out and off. The only thing to watch for is the parking lot isn't very big and can often get full on busy days. This means the people are backing up without looking, sitting at the entrance waiting for cars to leave, which means cars trying to get in could be stuck on the street, and then people are walking into, or out of, the post office looking down at their phone, or whatever and not paying attention. Therefore, you have to be very careful. Unfortunately, this is also true for the post office on Tustin. Inside, it's pretty normal. I usually just go in a drop something off and leave. But know the line can get pretty long, and it may or may not move quickly. They still lock their doors when they are closed so there's no way to drop something off except a small letter that can fit into the drop box outside.

I've come to the conclusion that every post office I visit is equally awful. I originally came to…read morethis Anaheim Hills location, which was just as bad as Orange one off Tustin this one is probably worse. The employees inside the offices are consistently miserable, and it makes you wonder why they even choose to work there. These cannot possibly be the same people who deliver our mail and packages to our homes, because the behavior inside the office is shocking. The staff moves at an unbelievably slow pace, almost as if it's intentional, and the attitude toward customers is openly rude and dismissive... They're literally as slow as freakin SLOTHS!!! No joke..... it's almost like they enjoy being miserable!!! Packages have gone missing at this location and do not scanned in that is why I wait in line for one of these sloths to scan it in and a receipt.....

2-21-2026 I arrived…read morea little before 2 PM, and there appeared to be a long line. But, a lady before me was polite enough to tell us that one was only for passports. There were maybe 5 people ahead of me. I was able to be in and out in about 30 minutes. Around 2:25 PM, people were crowding inside. One booth was partially reserved only for passports. I decided to come here since most locations are either closed on Saturdays or have very reduced hours. I even visited a tiny USPS in Whittier recently that felt super deserted. The downsides are the fact that it is stinky inside (old people funk), and the person behind me got so close as if she was trying to cut the line. But glad I found this place, as it was pretty much the only option for me, due to the availability of hours. My COA was pending and got denied. The employee let me get back in line 3 times, however. I had to fill out a form in person, since the online application was timed out. Hopefully, the system sorts my mail correctly, since the e-mail they sent was extremely insightful. Employees are very kind, and apologized to customers for the wait. They also have ratings for service. FYI: It seems they are also out of tape today. Also, it was really confusing to exit the parking lot since I think they're only three ways to go out and I believe two lead you through residential alleyways.

I stopped by while I was in the area to request a change of address, and the experience was…read moresurprisingly smooth. An employee quickly assisted me by providing the correct form and guiding me through the process. There was barely any wait, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Efficient, straightforward, and hassle-free--exactly what you hope for in this kind of errand.
