This USPS location was incredibly frustrating. I can't believe there isn't a self-service kiosk for customers with QR codes, especially since those transactions should be quick. When I visited, only one employee was helping customers while another employee stayed in the back and never came out to assist, despite the line wrapping around the lobby. There were only four people ahead of me, yet the wait was about 30 minutes, which speaks to how slowly the line was moving. USPS should seriously consider adding self-service kiosks for QR code transactions and ensuring adequate staffing during busy hours. The lack of efficiency made what should have been a simple visit take far longer than necessary. read more

Out of all the USPS in the area this by far has the rudest employees. For years I try my hardest to avoid this post office for that very reason. The rare times I am forced to come here it's always the same, I deal with poor customer service or a huge line .not to mention how dirty this location is. Do better usps. Perfectly fine and normal little post office. The clerk was helpful and there was plenty of parking in the shopping center. There was a big leak and collapsing ceiling in the lobby but that's probably the shopping center's responsibility. I don't know why they get low ratings... read more

I'm not sure why the negative reviews on this place, it's a post office people, it government run of course it's going to be a little inefficient, putting that aside this place has always been very good. They wait can be long but that's because it's a small post office go to another one if you want to assure yourself a fast in and out experience. The people working here have always been very nice, they seem to actually enjoy their job, that's 4 stars right there :). I had several letters and 1 package to send, the lady I didn't get her name was super helpful, it was a package being sent to Hawaii so the address was a little funky but she found it, overall a great experience. read more

I haven't had the same negative experiences as everyone else. For me, this is one of the easiest and most convenient post offices in the area. Have you been to the Monterey Park post office? It's awful! This place has plenty of parking and is easy to get into even if there is sometimes a little bit of a wait. The people have always been helpful. The last time I was there, a couple of days ago, Steve was so helpful! He helped me ship documents in response to a subpoena in the fastest and cheapest way possible. read more

I hardly ever come to this location to mail anything out , but for being close by it works out or so I though it did . I was following the guidelines of the pandemic, only three people at a time and the only three customer at a time are allowed which I totally respect, but I was in 15 min before 430 pm as I continue to wait one of the employees who was attending customers suddenly told one of the customers to close the door and not to allow me in . Mined you it was 5 min before closing by this time and he did not allow me to go in , he didn't say anything .. bad customer service you don't treat people like that's . He saw me following the guidelines because he saw me counting how many customers were inside and i saw him looking at me, and still did not say anything to me . I am not exaggerating when I say that every time I have ordered a package through amazon and it ships through this USPS, IT NEVER GETS TO ME. This has happened FOUR times at this point. At first I thought maybe it was my apartment, maybe someone was stealing my packages, but no. My apartment has cameras. The only time I'm missing my packages is when they ship from Rosemead USPS. Not ONCE has a package from amazon shipped from Rosemead and arrived to me. I will be contacting amazon to do something at this point because there is no excuse for this. read more

I've only been to this USPS twice in my life, and in an attempt to avoid the craziness at Monterey Park's USPS, I came here. The line is equally as long during the holidays (December rush)! My advice would be to come here early or during an off-hour to avoid the working crowd. Arrived around 4PM today (12/3/12), and this little tiny square of a location had a line out the door. The neighborhood feels a little ghetto, and while finding parking isn't a problem, beware of the intersections in the parking lot. Note: They do not keep in stock any padded flat rate envelopes like they do at the Monterey Park location though you could just order yourself some off their website for free. read more

Always losing packages. Most have a bad or terrible attitude. Not helpful at all. Also, no support for the disabled. Quite appalling.

Never really go to the post office, but I had a very pleasant experience. I know people say the post office has horrible service but this particular time the clerk behind the counter was very helpful I was shipping to Israel and he helped me find the best option to send my package at an affordable price. No package drop off even if you already have prepaid labels!!! They make you wait in that long time! The lady screamed at me for trying to drop off my prepaid packages! What a waste of time! The lady that works here is great and she has been for many years but unfortunately they hired Jeff who is the worst employee I have ever experienced at any establishment. He is slow, rude, inept, grumpy, and has horrible customer service skills. Today I went to ship a package and there was the usual long line when it is only Jeff working. When I got to the counter he told me I filled out the wrong form so he gave me the correct one. I went off to the side and filled out the new form. After I finished filling out the form I moved closer to the counter and he made his grumpy, ugly face at me and shoved his arms out signalling for me to move back. I responded to him "relax relax". That obviously annoyed him even more and he told me I was invading the customers space. I responded to him "I'm just right here". I knew not to get too close to the customer but I wanted him to be able to see me next. He continued arguing with me and as he walked away he said "Fuck" He then said "what are you mad about?" I told him "you are the one that's cursing" He was so upset he had to get the lady to assist me. Even as he helped the next customer he was still obviously worked up. He kept taking deep breaths of air and shaking his head. When I left post office another customer approached me and was shocked by his behavior. She said that wasn't the first time she has seen him angry though. You could tell this job is not for him. He cannot handle the level of stress when the store gets busy. He has horrible customer service skills and is not an efficient worker. I did see Jeff give friendly service to one customer I must admit. There was an attractive female a couple spots in front of me and he was chatting and smiling away. He is one of those kinds of sleazy employees that flirt with attractive woman but give shitty service to 90% of everyone else I can't believe the post office hired this guy. If you come to this post office avoid Jeff and try to get the woman, she is nice and helpful. read more

this is a small 2 window office. do not come during peak times, as there will be a wait. service is fast and efficient, and it is always clean. be sure to have your forms filled out to help make the line move along. parking can be an issue during peak times as it shares a plaza with ross, cvs, jamba juice, and many popular eateries. read more

One of the reasons i think USPS is on there way out. I went there today to ship a package but was in a hurry to go, i took a tape that was all but gone so I couldn't tape up my box. I asked An employee named Joe for a favor if he can taped it or if he has a tape for my box; he told me they don't do that. Only help i got from him is to find the cheapest tape they have that i can purchase. I know i should got everything taped up but things happened. UPS or Fedex or even those family owned like the one by Monterey Park will do it for you with a friendly smile. It already has a return label made for USPS by AT&T if it wasn't for that i would have gone somewhere else. There were no lines, it wasn't busy at all i felt he could have help me with my problem. first of all this usps makes their own rules, I am an online seller and been to different usps in my area and this is the worst first you can't leave prepaid labels on the counter, second if you have international label that was printed online there is no need to sign it because we already checked a box online , please relearn your procedures third they won't accept flat rate envelope not unless it is really like just papers inside if it is a bit bulk even it is sealed and close it will be rejected. Customer service is non existent, asking for scan sheet if I have plenty of package and telling me that I am creating a line , really!!!. For real usps employees here should wake up and follow their rules instead if making their own rules. read more

Instead of waiting for me just few seconds, she started helping another customer who brought in around 30 packages to ship. I was so disappointed. I don't have much comment me about the US Postal Service. It's government owned, it charges a fee and delivers my good. I mainly use it for my eBay business. I usually just print my pre-paid label and drop them off at the post office and done. I had to go out of my way today and so I Yelp a close by office to the destination I was going. I got in, there was one counter opened with a line. All I had to do just drop off my packages so they can collect it when they can. This one guy at the counter told I have to wait in line. I was like, I only need to drop them off, he said I still had to wait in line. The whole idea they offer pre-paid label is so you don't need to waste the time in line. This is by far the worst post office I've ever been to. My time is too valuable to wait in line and I didn't even have the time to argue with him. I storm out and left. Really USPS? And you don't know why your sales is declining each year? Teach your employees to help customer to save time and money. Not wasting their time in line. read more

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced! I used the wrong package my packed said express when it was just normal priority which I get my bad it was something I missed, and the woman said I needed to get in line to switch. Okay I get it. So I sat in line got to the front and said I used the wrong package can I get the correct envelope. And the woman yells at me that it's the wrong one...yeah that what I said may I get the correct one and she scoffs at me because she has to get up from her chair. I asked for scissors and she looked at me and said "next." I guess that was a no. I asked about my label and she goes just tear it off and put on new package. Well the plastic rips and she had walked off so I asked the male for a new label holder sleeve and he goes just use tape. I look around literally no tape is around so I have to ask him for tape and he scoffs too and reluctantly got off his chair to hand me tape. This location is convenient however I 'll never return there again. The postal employee Joe is rude and doesn't know how to communicate a new "rule". I was not allowed to drop off a package that had pre-paid postage without waiting in a long line. However he was willing to stop a transaction with the customer at his counter to give his attention to a young lady asking for tape. When I finally got to the counter he displayed inappropriate attitude toward me because I had called to his attention his inconsistent customer service. I requested a written copy of the "rule" that he kept speaking of and he was unable to provide any proof; rather he told me I had to wait for the supervisor to finish her lunch, and he refused to answer my questions and retreated to the back office.
