I love this post office. I've been coming here for years. There's one guy that I always deal with…read more It is super cool. I backed down a man may be in his 40s. I can't remember his name right now... Maybe Steve? Anyway, today, I was there on a double Jonathon and he was super gracious and helpful and just made me smile so there's all kinds of good things sometimes I do alone but the people that work here are like really good at what they do and they are a pleasure to deal with so if you don't have a good experience in this post office it's probably more about you. I would put my post office up against any other local post office. How are you recommended 10 out of time

Extremely frustrating experience with USPS passport services…read more First of all, they only offer passport appointments on weekdays--not weekends--which makes it nearly impossible for people who work 9-5 or multiple jobs to access this service. I had a 2 PM appointment, arrived early at 1:40 PM, and still left after 3 PM without getting my passport. Only one person was handling all passport requests, and the environment was chaotic and disorganized. Staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and honestly very rude throughout the entire process. The first time we got to the front, we were told our form was incomplete--even though the government website says you don't need parental information if you're over 18. We had to go to the back of the line and wait all over again. Then we were told that because my partner has a Connecticut ID, he also needed to provide his Social Security card--something that's not clearly stated online. After doing some research, I found out a medical card would've worked too, but the clerk didn't offer that option. It felt like they were setting people up to fail. The office serves a large Latino community, yet no one spoke Spanish. That's a huge accessibility issue. Also, in 2025, how are checks or money orders still the only forms of payment accepted? This entire process was confusing, expensive, and deeply inaccessible. It's incredibly disappointing to see such poor service and lack of support for the community. The government and USPS needs to do better.

Unprofessional manager, had to cancel and go to another post office…read more On March 4, I came in to activate a PO Box that I had prepaid online the day before. I didn't have PS Form 1093 printed because the online process indicates the office can print it for you to sign during activation. The clerk helping me was polite and tried to assist, but the manager, Carla, made the process unnecessarily difficult. She told me she "couldn't" print the form and insisted I had to fill everything out again, even though the box was already paid for and I had all required documentation (passport, business license, my wife's ID). What really bothered me was the way Carla handled it. She kept walking away while I was speaking, didn't acknowledge what I was saying, and then accused me of being rude when I was calmly asking why a simple print-and-sign step couldn't be done. Because of the unprofessional behavior and lack of basic customer service, I canceled my PO Box the same day and went to the Alhambra Post Office, where the process was handled properly. If management can't support a straightforward PO Box activation, customers end up driving farther just to get decent service. I'm leaving this review so leadership addresses the customer service and training issues at this location.

I am very disappointed with this post office. After requesting an address change, my mail was lost…read more Despite staying in contact with them, and waiting a month for my mail to be forwarded, the manager attempted to shift the blame to another post office and then onto me. They still haven't figured out what happened to my mail, and I was supposed to receive a call from the manager over three hours ago. This place is disorganized and lacks honesty, refusing to take responsibility for their mistakes and quickly pointing fingers. If you're planning to change your address, I wouldn't count on this team for support.

I filed a customer complaint and never received a call back. Why am I not surprised? I also called…read moreover 100 times within the week because while I am sitting at a desk working, I made the time. What I got in return was, 2 pick ups with no response, as in they just took the phone off the hook, and one pick up with a promise to get a call back from a supervisor, Oscar or Nora? which never happened. At this point, they have overcharged my high school student son by $455. That was on May 11, today is May 27 and they still cannot rectify it. I have worked in customer service for years and this is the most inept thought process and management I have ever witnessed. If you see that you clearly are the reason for the gross error, and you can take out the money so easily in one day, clearly you can return it the same way which would of course take up to three business days, but not 16. At this point, we have been in there a total of three times and yesterday they had the nerve to tell us to come back to bring the receipt that they have in their freaking system. Like what????LOL it just keeps getting worse. We had pictures of the dates, times and receipt numbers. Are you kidding me? I want to work here too, so I don't have to practice accountability or professionalism. Ignore the phones, don't call customers back, don't give a shit if I messed up, this job must be great!

The staff friendliness is a hit or miss but they are always helpful and efficient. I've always only seen 2-3 people behind the counter and are usually bilingual in Chinese or Spanish. They also have self help kiosks which make things go faster and there are also drop off chutes and boxes in the lobby and on the outside which are also collected by 5pm.
