They were very busy today, as we know it would be-right before Christmas and all. I had to help a friend get some very important papers sent out. The man helped us with options and we chose a high priority envelope to use. He sent us to the side to fill out the address and told us to come back up to the desk when we were ready. Never had a bad experience here until meeting employee Vonne. Brought in a larger package that was already pre-paid for. She yelled over the counter before I even got there that she was not taking it. Said she could tell by looking it was too big. I asked her to actually measure it as I had already paid over $200 to have it shipped. She told me no until another employee walked by. She told the other employee she had already measured it, but was gonna do it again. She measured it and when she realized it was in the 108" parameter and she was wrong she added an extra 30" thinking I wouldn't see. I asked to measure it and got 86". She said she didn't care she's not taking the package. Was very rude and extremely unprofessional. I asked for her name and she told me to make sure I type it with an E. I got home and looked online and the parameter is actually 130" so I was well within even with her fake measurements. Not sure what her issue was and if she was just having a bad day and taking it out on me, but she needs to go to the back if she is gonna behave that way. She should not be interacting with customers. She was for sure on a power trip for whatever reason. Too bad it's a government office and nothing will be done. read more

Went there in my lunch break. Was greeted by postal worker "Joe" behind the counter. "Joe" was polite and even apologized or the wait. However there was no wait, but he was being very courteous. I asked for tracking on my package and he informed me there are two ways. Gave me both optioned and explained them both in detail. Was a great experience and appreciate great employees like "Joe". Well done Sir. The establishment was also clean and hours are clearly posted in building. read more

The staff at this store was extremely rude, condescending, and all maintained a horrible attitude. They made it seem like shipping a package is the greatest inconvenience that could ever happen at the USPS store (as if that's not the entire purpose of the store.) I was almost afraid to ask a question about the packages tracking number I was sending because the lady taking care of me was snarly, irritable, and honestly quite intimidating. Then I watched her bark orders at another lady who was shipping out a package as well. I mean, at least I got my package shipped but I could've dealt without the attitude. read more

The interaction with the worker Dorothy lasted 1 min, but it was a very painful one. Dorothy was very rude and acted like she didn't have the time of day to help me. I understand it's hot outside but the attitude isn't needed, especially when they're standing in an air conditioned building. When I tried to ask additional questions, she started to walk away and say "That's not her problem." It was my first and last time coming to this location. I truly hope Dorothy finds the someone to love, so she can experience kindness for what since like the first time in her life. Maybe she find it in her heart to show kindness to others. Incredibly rude. Dealt with Mr. Joe at the counter. Asked me what I had going on and I told him I had a QR code for a shipping label for an Ebay sale and I was holding the item unpacked...he immediately cut me off and said you gotta pack that we don't pack that and pointed away for me to go do it and return later. I thanked him kindly for being so "friendly" first thing in the morning and he said "forget friendly I'm just telling you we don't pack it. A QR code only spits out a label." Told him I understood that, was just looking for some advice on how to pack it. He again just rude and argumentatively said we don't pay for it...to which I continue to say I UNDERSTAND THAT. So I finally went to just leave and deal with someone else and he said wait let me scan the QR and see if its priority. I told him it was, and I already paid for full insurance and he scanned it and said oh, we pack this for you...and then did his job. So rude. The post office during the holiday season is sometimes the last place I want to be, but my experience at this office was superb! The staff was pleasant and apologetic for the short wait experienced by everyone. I truly appreciated the effort they made to make each person feel important, thank you all for doing a job that is taken for granted by most people. read more

Terrible attitudes, yvonne or whatever her name was, is extremely rude to all customers and people in line said she's like that everytime. It's crazy the things that lady said to people. Yelling at the elderly and anyone is absurd she still has a job. The fact that everyone in line agreed that she's always rude is a problem on top of all the bad reviews about attitude and it seems like nothing gets done. Talk to people like you have some sense, not talking out the side of their neck. read more

Incredibly disappointed in the laziness of the postal workers at this location. I ordered an item specifically for labor day and instead of delivering the package my mailman drove past my mailbox because a neighbors car was slightly blocking it. The package could have been delivered to my door or to my mailbox had the mail man taken two seconds to get out of his vehicle. Instead i get a notification on my tracking that the package could not be delivered.. I watched him drive past my house, he could have handed me the package! read more

Wonderful staff, and I'm there often as it is a small post office and close to my residence. They are always courteous, apologetic for the wait, even if it's a few minutes and very kind. It's hard to come across polite people who have job security so I appreciate their attitudes. I've got to complete the survey at the bottom of the receipt because I'm sure most people review if they're unhappy versus satisfied with good customer service. read more

I ship using this location weekly, very friendly and polite staff. They usually have the supplies I need.

Let's start by how lazy the people are that work here. I shipped out a package, scanned in by the employee working the counter. I paid $50 for insurance and 2 day priority. Somehow it had been lost and I cannot get an answer. I've been to the post office 4 times to get an update and all I am being told now is wait 21 days and file a claim. I don't want to file a claim. I want my package to be shipped on time!! read more

This is one of the worst post offices ever. Our mail man and his subs are lazy. They always have me come pick up my packages. I recieve barkbox monthly and everytime I have to go pick it up truly an inconvenience. I have spoken to the supervisor twice and the manager once and still the same crap. Just moved to Jacksonville and tried to get my keys for my mailbox together and they BLAMED ME EVERY TIME for not telling the mailman ahead then he "Went on Vacation " so I couldn't get my keys for another month. When I finally got my keys NONE of my packages were in my mailbox. TERRIBLE experience. Makes me not want to live around this part of Jacksonville. read more

Not sure if it's idiots working or what? i ordered a reborn doll from someone in jacksonville they go here and send the package to get to ANTELOPE CALIFORNIA! i've been waiting for two weeks when the mail service she provided me with was stated that it only takes 1-3 days which i almost knew i wasn't going to get it within that time frame but at least a week! waited for 2 weeks and 2 days it was literally delivered exactly where it came from! AWFUL. You people are a joke. Here's a little story for every one. At my place of employment, we usually get our mail around 12 or 1. PERFECT right? so then i notice that our mail starts coming later. around 3. okay, fine. I don't leave until 4, so it didn't bother me. My boss comes in my office today in a tizzy, because yesterday our mail didn't get delivered until 8:30! pm! wtf? So i call this post office, and after about 3 minutes of constant ringing,Janienne picks up.At this point, I'm not mad. Until she interrupts me, and says " ma'am, the whole city was in disarray yesterday. We had carriers out until 9pm. As far as getting your mail earlier every day, I cant help you. They're not going to change a route just for you. Your only option would be to get a P.O box. then you'll get your mail by 10 am" disarray? how? because last i checked it was 80 degrees and beautiful out, cant blame it on the weather. No epidemics, zombies, giant mudslides (Florida. not super mountian-y) So. I'm interested. What is this disarray? I'm about to call back and speak to a supervisor. as per my bosses request. update to follow. Alright, here's the update. If i could rate it zero stars, I would. I call back. I thought i was talking to a different person than I previously was. So when I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I was, I believed her. I go on with my story, and calmly try to explain to her whats going on and why we need our mail earlier, she then starts YELLING at me. " I TOLD YOU THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO BUT GIVE THE MANAGER YOUR INFORMATION OR YOU COULD GET A BOX HERE" okay. Now I'm pissed off. me- "remember when i asked you to speak to a supervisor? i meant somebody that wasn't you. her-That would be the manager... me- transfer me. her- hes in a teleconfrence. which was probably BS. I didn't receive my package and when I went in to ask they blamed me saying that they tried to deliver it but the apartment number was wrong. I checked the address and apartment number several times but it was the apartment number they just didn't try. They sent my package back to the sender the same day with out even notifying me when they could have easily left it at the front desk. 0/10 recommend read more

Yesterday they finally decided to put the key for large packages box in my mail box. Last Friday they claimed delivery. Well I finally got my package only a week after they claimed delivery. Today there was no mail delivery. Evidently it was a post persons holiday. Starting to get just a little upset with the postal service that ordinarily good service. I sent a package to my brother in Jacksonville Fl. Everything was fine until his mail person delivered it. The mail person put the package in the big box for packages, BUT never left a key in my brothers mail box so he could get in to the big box. After 10 days the mail person took my brother package back to the post office and it was sent back to me. My brothers mail person says she thought my brother moved since he never picked up his package and yet the mail person kept putting mail in my brothers mail box. It makes NO sense. Once again we are stuck with a mail carrier that cannot read numbers. So far twice this week he has delivered my mail to a neighbors house. I called the post office on thurs Jan 25th and complained about this guy taking my mail to the wrong house on Weds the 24th. I also talked to the mail carrier about it. He could care less. So today Sun. the 28th this same neighbor brings me my mail that was delivered to his house again yesterday Sat. the 27th. We had a good postal carrier for awhile until she got a better position. Before she was here this same guy was here doing the same exact thing. Now here we go again he's back. Now someone tell me how hard it is to read a house number on a package. This guy cannot seem to differentiate between 2819 and 2919. The US post office sucks and they wonder why they are losing business. About a month ago I sent two packages 2 day shipment to Fort Bragg from Jax fl and it took 4 days. Why am I paying extra to get it there quicker and it is not happening.
