Of course, it's just another branch of USPS, a necessary evil of our fair land, like many other…read moreguvmint or quasi-guvmint operations. However, having used this particular branch of said agency, I simply find it about as user friendly as a post office can ever become. If you're one of those folks who uses a PO Box rather than a physical address to get your scads of junk mail, bills and the occasional package, then you're in luck. This small outpost in a dim corner of a business park has 'em in spades. Lobby is very clean, quiet and well kept. There are tons of supplies available as you walk toward the service counter area, which is behind a glass door within the lobby. Supplies such as envelopes, boxes, simple packaging supplies and all those postal forms you'd need to send different classes of mail. If you normally don't ship stuff by mail, worry not. The postal clerk behind aforementioned counter behind aforementioned door is genuinely great ay what he does. The fellow's name is Dwight, a middle aged fellow who actually has a rather pleasant demeanor and patient attitude. Dwight isn't always the only one behind the counter, but he's a great face for the agency. He, my wife and I had a very pleasant conversation as we figured out which particular mail class to use for a package of documents I had to ship. It was very clear that he knows his stuff and is more than willing to help his customers so long as they know what they want. It helps if one participates in all these goings on to help the process move along. Not only will Dwight remain patient but he'll guide in the right direction for the right reasons. This also helps in MOVING the line along, if only because USPS lobbies tend to get long lines pretty quick. So if you want USPS to deliver for YOU, then deliver yourself to this business park near the county lockup and the county airport (hello, Allegiant passengers). Hope that if you have questions or concerns, Dwight will be working that day. BTW: as this branch is in a business park, there are no weekend hours.

Dwight, in the station next to her, provided comical statements to keep everyone cheery, even when there was a wait. Overall, very happy with my services at this location. In and out quickly, even during the last few days of the holiday season when I figured lines would be so long to get packages to loved ones ASAP. Would definitely return here.

The Oldsmar Post Office is hands down the most unprofessional USPS in Tampa Bay in regards to their…read moremail carriers and lack of customer service. I have consistently encountered issues with mail carrier, Johanna, regarding any package deliveries that require a signature. On multiple occasions, Johanna has left a first-attempt notice on my door without even bothering to ring the doorbell, thus preventing me from signing for my packages. This is incredibly frustrating as I have NEVER been able to receive one delivery requiring a signature at my home. What is the point of using their delivery service if you must pick up your own packages from the post office? Today, I was expecting my father's death certificate, which had to be shipped to me via USPS by the crematory. I paid for overnight shipping, and of course, in this mail carrier's typical rushed and lazy fashion, she did NOT ring the doorbell for me to sign for my package. When I called the post office, the supervisor, basically informed me that I would have to wait for Johanna to redeliver the death certificate tomorrow or come in. What good would that do if she refused to ring my doorbell in the first place, other than to issue me a final attempt notibe? Our two cars were in the driveway for gosh sake, and we stayed home all day awaiting the death certificate. We were clearly home, and the time it took her to put the notice in the crack of our door, she could have rang the doorbell. So unprofessional! This was so disheartening and disappointing, as I desperately needed my father's death certificate to arrive today. I begged the shipper to arrange an alternative delivery method but they could not. Additionally, my experiences with package deliveries or shipping via USPS have been frequently lost, stolen, or undelivered, leading me to avoid utilizing their services whenever possible. Don't even think about shipping during the holiday season, as ALL of their seasonal staff steal your items as they know their positions are temporary. Unfortunately, in this instance, this was the only method for obtaining the death certificate needed to arrange the funeral. I believe it is crucial that customers know how unprofessional this mail carrier is and the horrible impact she and others have regarding great customer satisfaction.

Just tired of constantly missing delivery days and a complete lack of caring by not only the driver but also the supervisors. Wish it wasn't a government funded service that couldn't care less! I guess "going postal " truly hits home.

So sad to here of the closed Downtown Safety Harbor USPS, but thank goodness for the Newly Opened Post Office Square! For downtown Safety Harbor Residents, it has been a joy to go to the regular Post Office downtown for many years. It relocated out of downtown leaving some residents hanging. Guess what? Now Post Office Square not only offers what the Post office can do, but a whole lot more. Post office square can do USPS stuff, FedEx, DHL, and in a little bit fingerprinting services too (they had the machine in the office, it just needed to be setup in the coming weeks). I brought in a package to ship that needed a little attention in the packing department (i.e. I didn't have tape at home, and I brought an weird box in) and the staff at Post Office Square Re-packaged everything for me safely and got my stuff to it's destination. I also learned that you can open a Private Mailbox here, it's like a P.O. box but with a real address! They will even grab stuff from Amazon for you! Are you a snowbird and want your mail to be down here in Safety Harbor and shipped up to you in NY or Michigan when you're up there for the Summers? Oh they will do this for you too! Had a great experience here and can't wait to continue to do business with them. As a bonus they have plenty of parking, and it's a convenient downtown location.
