Who ever the Driver is for Harbor Woods Village in Safety Harbor, needs to be fired today. I am…read moreexpecting a very important certified letter from a Law Office and I watched the mailman just put the certified mail PS Form 3849 in my mailbox. He didn't make any attempt to get out and said "no authorized recipient available", when I was sitting right in the front room. He didn't ring the bell, he didn't knock on the door, and he didn't even get out of the vehicle. This is pure laziness and incompetence. I will use all my resources to have this individual removed from working for the USPS. Usually tampering with US Mail is a federal offense. I feel this individual needs to be punished severely. The USPS has already misplaced the letter as I was supposed to receive it 3 days ago. I have been back and forth on the phone with the local Safety Harbor Post Office and the General USPS Customer Service Line for the past 3 days. I still have not received the letter. Whoever this individual is, I would really like to know. I will eventually report him to the 'United States Postal Inspection Service". I have lost complete trust in the USPS!

We now have a new carrier and I'm lucky if I get my mail accurately half of the time. Sometimes I get half one day and then the other half the next day. Or, sometimes I get two days worth a day late. Not sure what is happening with this new carrier, but I have never had this problem before. Can you please address this issue as soon as possible. Star 2.

The Oldsmar Post Office is hands down the most unprofessional USPS in Tampa Bay in regards to their…read moremail carriers and lack of customer service. I have consistently encountered issues with mail carrier, Johanna, regarding any package deliveries that require a signature. On multiple occasions, Johanna has left a first-attempt notice on my door without even bothering to ring the doorbell, thus preventing me from signing for my packages. This is incredibly frustrating as I have NEVER been able to receive one delivery requiring a signature at my home. What is the point of using their delivery service if you must pick up your own packages from the post office? Today, I was expecting my father's death certificate, which had to be shipped to me via USPS by the crematory. I paid for overnight shipping, and of course, in this mail carrier's typical rushed and lazy fashion, she did NOT ring the doorbell for me to sign for my package. When I called the post office, the supervisor, basically informed me that I would have to wait for Johanna to redeliver the death certificate tomorrow or come in. What good would that do if she refused to ring my doorbell in the first place, other than to issue me a final attempt notibe? Our two cars were in the driveway for gosh sake, and we stayed home all day awaiting the death certificate. We were clearly home, and the time it took her to put the notice in the crack of our door, she could have rang the doorbell. So unprofessional! This was so disheartening and disappointing, as I desperately needed my father's death certificate to arrive today. I begged the shipper to arrange an alternative delivery method but they could not. Additionally, my experiences with package deliveries or shipping via USPS have been frequently lost, stolen, or undelivered, leading me to avoid utilizing their services whenever possible. Don't even think about shipping during the holiday season, as ALL of their seasonal staff steal your items as they know their positions are temporary. Unfortunately, in this instance, this was the only method for obtaining the death certificate needed to arrange the funeral. I believe it is crucial that customers know how unprofessional this mail carrier is and the horrible impact she and others have regarding great customer satisfaction.

Just tired of constantly missing delivery days and a complete lack of caring by not only the driver but also the supervisors. Wish it wasn't a government funded service that couldn't care less! Don't believe everything you read and please don't treat the staff poorly because you are frustrated with the mail system -- it is not the fault of the front line people who are coming into work day in and day out. My only wish: that priority boxes/labels could be picked up after hours since they are free. My work hours prevent me from getting to the post office most weekdays and I often end up needing a priority box after hours to pack an order.

The problem I have with the place is that it's an absolute dump. When you drive through other communities, the post office looks nice with updated signage, clean landscaping and well-maintained grounds. This one looks like it hasn't been touched since the 90's. There's always a bunch of junk out in the overgrown brush that surrounds the the property's corner at Missouri & 8th. The landscaping around the building consists of an odd mix of rock, mulch, dirty, unpainted sidewalks, and weeds. The exterior needs painting, updated signage, and decent landscaping. The interior needs a paint job and a good scrubbing as well. It's not the staff's fault; frankly they deserve better work surroundings. I've asked the City of Largo who is in charge of this location but so far no response (some post offices are owned by their communities, others are franchised). Whoever's responsibility it is they need to step it up. The conditions of the place make me lean toward guessing that this is a neglected franchise. Largo is going through a period of revival and the post office needs to catch up and reflect that spirit and stop being an embarrassment to us all.

Super easy to mail a package…read more I almost never go to the post office, but when BPB CM, Blue A., left his sunglasses in my car I had to figure out how to get them back to him. (Just know that he really liked those sunglasses or else they would have never found their way back to BPB). My sister taught me that USPS is the cheapest way to mail things. I once had to mail her glasses to LA and she got super mad at me for using UPS because it was a lot more expensive. I learned my lesson (not to do my sister any favors. JK, always use USPS and think long and hard about doing my sister any favors). I looked up closest USPS to me and it was this one. Know that the car wash is exceptionally popular so you might want to turn the street before so you don't get stuck waiting for the car wash to move like I did so I could turn into the gas station. The USPS is part of the gas station. There was nobody there other than me so I was able to walk up, put down the sunglasses and ask what is the cheapest way to mail these. The guy behind the counter was really helpful. He even gave me a sharpie to write the address on the padded envelope. For any purchases under $10 you have to use cash. For once in my life I was actually carrying cash with me! Go figure. It was nine cents over the dollar so I thought I was going to get back 91 cents. Nope! The cashier rounded down and let the nine cents slide. Thank you! I was in and out in less than five minutes. Now this is the way to send mail.
