Get there early, this place is busy! They have the logistics figured out so I appreciate this location a ton!

I didn't have enough cash on me, I used my debit/credit card. I guess I should have checked my RECEIPTS before leaving the store/USPS. After all it is the USPS. The package which was just a rolled up calendar, was "Grand Total: $6.90 and my SECOND RECEIPT for the charge was $7.18??? I don't recall seeing a sign for the upcharges nor did he mention it only that the name of the business would be on my credit card bill!

They have last minute gifts on the shelves including birthday cards and such. They are the new owners reopening about a year and a half ago. Easy Parking too! Great advice on how to wrap and mail that odd shaped package. You know like the large metal jack you found at a thrift store that costs $5.00 but $25 to mail. Free boxes too! If I had to launch a complaint it would be about the exorbitant mailing costs which is not something they have anything to do with! I have experienced those who want to jump on line ahead of me because they have other things to do with their time... If they're pushy about it I usually jus elbow them hard to the ribs lol! Just joking! All'n' all... I easily give them five stars! *****

Madeira-Redington

We have been living in Madeira Beach for more than 6 years. The man in charge of delivering our…read moremail has always been nice with us. So much that we even used to give him cookies for Christmas. Always greeting us with a smile in his face, a very nice person. But, for whatever reason, that person stopped doing our route and now we have been assigned a new mailman, and that person is the most self-entitled and rude person you can meet. Two weeks into the job and he was already complaining that we don't empty our mailbox as often as he would like. We told them we both travel during the week and, at the very least, we empty it once a week. Instead of understanding, he said he was not going to deliver any mail to us again. I went to the post office and talked to his manager. He attended me and was very nice and understanding at all times. He said he would talk to him and, for a couple of months, everything seemed to be back to normal. But today, we hear a load bang on the door, I go out, and there he is again, shouting at me, literally "I've had enough, I'm not delivering any more mail to your house!". When I tried to talk to him, he called me an "a**hole", and when I said we never had a problem with the previous mailman, he replied "that's because they weren't doing their job". Well, maybe that's true, but he kept his clients happy and the business running. But this guy... totally horrible. He's lucky he works for the government, because in a private company, any employee that treats clients that way would be fired right away. Totally horrible experience.

I keep calling and the phone keeps ringing and finally Verizon comes on to say that the call cannot…read morebe completed. In the meantime, I haven't received any mail for weeks now even though I get a USPS digest daily which shows the mail that should have been delivered. What's going on here?

Of course, it's just another branch of USPS, a necessary evil of our fair land, like many other…read moreguvmint or quasi-guvmint operations. However, having used this particular branch of said agency, I simply find it about as user friendly as a post office can ever become. If you're one of those folks who uses a PO Box rather than a physical address to get your scads of junk mail, bills and the occasional package, then you're in luck. This small outpost in a dim corner of a business park has 'em in spades. Lobby is very clean, quiet and well kept. There are tons of supplies available as you walk toward the service counter area, which is behind a glass door within the lobby. Supplies such as envelopes, boxes, simple packaging supplies and all those postal forms you'd need to send different classes of mail. If you normally don't ship stuff by mail, worry not. The postal clerk behind aforementioned counter behind aforementioned door is genuinely great ay what he does. The fellow's name is Dwight, a middle aged fellow who actually has a rather pleasant demeanor and patient attitude. Dwight isn't always the only one behind the counter, but he's a great face for the agency. He, my wife and I had a very pleasant conversation as we figured out which particular mail class to use for a package of documents I had to ship. It was very clear that he knows his stuff and is more than willing to help his customers so long as they know what they want. It helps if one participates in all these goings on to help the process move along. Not only will Dwight remain patient but he'll guide in the right direction for the right reasons. This also helps in MOVING the line along, if only because USPS lobbies tend to get long lines pretty quick. So if you want USPS to deliver for YOU, then deliver yourself to this business park near the county lockup and the county airport (hello, Allegiant passengers). Hope that if you have questions or concerns, Dwight will be working that day. BTW: as this branch is in a business park, there are no weekend hours.

Dwight, in the station next to her, provided comical statements to keep everyone cheery, even when there was a wait. Overall, very happy with my services at this location. In and out quickly, even during the last few days of the holiday season when I figured lines would be so long to get packages to loved ones ASAP. Would definitely return here.
