Sometimes there is a long line, but I don't come often, everytime I get to the counter though it's like 2 minutes. I'm shocked to see so many bad reviews! I moved to the area January of 2025. I've been to this Post Office at least 10 times. The staff is awesome! This has to be the WORST post office in the entire planet.I spent my entire adult life in the military and traveled from place to place and got to know many different Post Offices in my time. Due to this I consider myself an expert. This place is RIDICULOUS. Lines out the door no matter what time of the day, 1 yes .1 counter employee at a time. IDK how this postal service so frequently fails to deliver mail... I have had numerous accounts where I apply my E-signature and then the package is not delivered and I get a notification saying due to "no authorized recipient"... well yeah, that's why I applied my e sign!!! One day I was even waiting for a very important package, sitting in my living room all day to ensure I didn't miss the mailman since that specific delivery did not allow for the E-sign and got a notification saying package not delivered, no authorized recipient.. what!? how, I had specifically been waiting for that package in a quiet house to ensure I wouldn't miss it? That tells me that the mailman didn't even bother knocking on the door or ringing the doorbell before just moving on! read more

I had a custom fishing rod with my brothers ashes in it made for my father and needed it shipped. The clerk wasn't helpful and was frustrated because I'm unaware of their policies. The rod arrived 19 days later. Broken in 2 spots. I had it in a hard case. Then, my mail wasn't delivered to my box. It's again, over $200 in medicine for my dog. The postmaster was supposed to call me back after I waited in line for 30 minutes during my lunch "hour". I had to return, because the phone line is NEVER not busy. This office has the most rude, inconsiderate, and unhelpful staff I've ever ran across. Go to any other location you can. read more

The post master is incredibly rude and hostile. He treated me like I was in the wrong when it is his staff that is not delivering packages correctly. He will call on a blocked number and leave a voice mail with no call back and then call you again and be rude that you weren't able to call him back. If I had the choice to use another post office I would. If you can drive to the universal city post office to send things do that instead they are much nicer. read more

Omg where to begin with this post office, back in June my husband and I were going on vacation for 10 days and went in to have them hold our mail because we were expecting packages while we were gone. Well we get back to our home and find that they had delivered mail all 10 day plus our packages were just sitting in the mailbox (husband's vape juice). Well I'm the month that followed we noticed that we hadn't been receiving mail (even junk mail) we knew something was up so I go to the post office to find they have been holding our mail for the last three weeks. To make matters worse my husband ordered a quilt for me that was to be delivered today, the email tracker stated that it was delivered in the mail at 11:27am. Of course there was no package, no key to the larger boxes, nor does the post office know what happened to our box. Ugh I'm so over the USPS...I really hate this place! read more

Wow there are some really bad reviews on Cibolo Post Office. I must be lucky because my mailman is a retired Air Force Chief who is the nicest guy in the world. We always talk because I am a retired Master Sergeant. I have never had an issue. I frequent the Cibolo post office because I sell on Ebay. Never had a problem or lost package. Mr.Rob and the ladies in there are as nice as they can be. I don't get the bad reviews. I'm happy with the service and always get a smile. I noticed some of the bad reviews are pretty old. Maybe things have changed but I enjoy using these services. Folks who do a public service work hard and do not get compensated equally with the work they perform. Believe me, I know Service is a thankless job. So that being said, thank you Cibolo Post Office for your service. I appreciate what you do. After all, there will always be someone to complain about the smallest of issues. You can't make 100% of people happy 100% of the time. It is what it is. Cut them a break and praise them when they do good. Nobody likes to get beat up constantly. And it does not encourage them to be nicer and do a better job when they deal with bitter, rude, people all day who you just can't make happy. Rant over. Yeah, I am going to be a mean old lady and bash this postal service. After the news today with important docs that were suppose to be sent to my oncologist a week ago in the mail never made it to him. This was not the only time I had trouble with this postal office. Before moving to this little town I took the time to go on to usps website to fill out a change of address form and they charge you $1 fee and I got a confirmation and everything. I've done this a few times before and never had a problem getting my mail to my new residence. You know what the manager told me...said that I am suppose to go into the local office and tell them that I moved here and I should be added to the house address in order to get mail or else my mail will get forwarded because the post women or man assumes that this person doesn't live here. If you're getting a shit load of mail for the same person every day I would expect them to know someone just moved into the house. Or checked the change of address forms, I don't know how that works but I would think that info will be sent to the office location. What's the point in doing the online change of address form if I had to go in personally? I didn't have a fax machine so did a lot of correspondence through mail with my medical paper work and insurance, most of the documents being sent to me were returned to the sender and I would spend hours on the phone to find out why I haven't received anything and pissed off that these people aren't doing there job, but no it was not their fault. It was the dumb ass in blue shorts. So, everything I was trying to get together all got delayed and still working on right now and it is frustrating! I had family and friends sending me packages, but I never got anything anyone sent me. I will have to invest in efaxing or a faxing machine now since the usps at this location is unreliable. Or a PO BOX ( with me going in to get one yeah I better get my mail and packages if I do that!) Screw that I am doing everything with Fedex! I also want to add a comment from my sister... she got a birthday card earlier this year and it was obvious that someone opened and took the contents in there. So, sad! This tiny little post office seems to have employed the same people and practices for the past decade plus. Problem is the area has exploded, but they still are running things like it's the same mostly rural area with limited number of residents. For starters, we've had numerous notices stating they attempted to deliver something that requires a signature. However, every single time they NEVER actually come to the door. I will have been home the entire day and never once hear a knock or a doorbell. But I go to our parcel locker and there's a notice saying they attempted to deliver. BS....NO, you did not. Secondly, when they do deliver packages to our door, they almost never knock or ring the doorbell; Just drop it and literally run back to the suv. That just makes it easier for someone to steal the package right off your doorstep. But what you gonna do? Complain that the federally run service is doing a bad job? HA! read more

Like others I wish I could give them zero stars... I ordered a package which was shipped registered mail. The package arrived at my post office with the arrival scan and just sat there for days. Finally I drove there to ask why it hadn't been delivered and was told it was "missing." Odd.... Since the item arrived with a scan but never left the location. It's pretty obvious someone stole it. I was told a manager would call me, but NO ONE EVER did. I also filed a claim with the 800 # who is also a worthless pile of shit. I was told I would receive a call back in a day and a resolution in 3. Again NO ONE EVER called. I had to call them 3 separate times to ask for an update, which no one could give me. Finally today I was told, they sent a vendor letter informing them they couldn't find the package and now asking they file a claim. Are you serious? You couldn't investigate the case with the first case, why is the vendor now having to file a separate claim when it's pretty obvious someone in your post office stole it. She couldn't even apologize for no one ever attempting to contact me and instead she just kept interrupting me. I wish I could avoid using them all together because they are incompetent and completely lack any responsibility for their own shortcomings. Wish I could give it 0 stars! What has happened to the USPS? This particular station has constant mail overflow in the outside drop boxes & many times in the lobby. When we have tried to talk with the manager/superviser, we are treated as if we and our issue(s) are insignificant. The line is almost always out the door with one clerk working. We haven't had mail delivery all week & it is now almost 50 degrees out, but we still don't have mail delivery today. So much for the "rain, sleet, snow or hail" quote! And, of course, you can't call the local branch -- only the 1-800 # where you go round in circles & end up nowhere but completely frustrated. No wonder the USPS is running out of money. If there was any other way to get mail, we would be first in line! I have had numerous problems with this place. My mom lives next door to me and receives her magazines, the same ones I get. I call the magazine place and they say it was mailed the same time. Phone number is always busy. Post master won't return calls. Route person will not get out and deliver mail unless no cars are near box.

When you have a federal government owned building you'd think they would make their building's ADA accessible. They do not have automatic door openers! Not to mention someone who is in a wheelchair, but what about the person carrying in 5 boxes?! Or someone else with a stroller? This post office is pretty ridiculously bad. I order a ton of stuff online via Amazon Prime etc and I have done so at four or five different addresses but only in Cibolo is there about a 60% chance that even though I have a delivery confirmation, I don't have my item. The typical MO is to put the item in a parcel locker and forget to put the key in my box, but they've also simply put my items in the box of a similar address. I've lived here about six months now and this has happened to me no less than eight times. Unsatisfactory! read more

We subscribe to Netflix DVD's and since moving here 6 months ago and having Cibolo post office serving our Schertz address our DVDs that should take 2 days is now taking approximately 10 days. That is crazy. read more

The Cibolo Postal Service is a Bad Joke! I don't know how many items they never deliver to me. I don't get a note if they hold it at the post office. When they do bring things to my door it's like it's in stealth mode. No bell ringing ..no knock. The only way I know they might be there is my phone will beep but that's only from Amazon. I just tracked down a package that they had for 3 weeks. I was all over the company that sent it, because it wasn't delivered to me. After calling the Cibolo Post office 50 times that day, I finally got someone to answer, of course it was right at closing time. He did finally say..Oh, it's been here! I told him that that wasn't where it was suppose to be. Had husband go by next day to pick it up, they were in the process of sending it back to where I ordered it from..as undeliverable! This post office is wonderful. I never have to wait for a long period of time. At the most, I've waited 3-5 minutes. Every desk clerk is extremely helpful and nice. I've never had an issue here. To be honest, I've lived in many places in the United States and this is one of the best P.O. I've ever been too. Everything in the front office is well organized and easy to find. The clerks always ask if anyone is "picking up" or "dropping off" to make the line go faster. I think this PO is doing a wonderful job. read more

I never post reviews but I feel like I need to warn people about this post office. I recently moved here from California and I had gone into the post office on Fort Sam and changed my address. The man said it would be fine to change it there for my Cibolo address. I had left my keys at a hotel in California on our trip here and they were sending them to my new address in Cibolo and it was supposed to be delivered on July 21st. It had been a week since I had changed my address and I had still not received any mail or the package so I walked into the Cibolo post office on July 23rd and this is what they told me: I was supposed to go into their post office to fill out a form to change my address and get a new set of keys for my box, even though we already had 2 working keys from the previous tenants. This wasn't my issue with them, I could accept that. What set me over the edge was that they received my package on July 21st and did not deliver it because they had no idea that I was living at that address. They told me that they are supposed to put undeliverable packages on a 10 day hold to see if the addressee comes for them but they had already sent the package back to the shipper. It is now August 9th and the shipper (hotel) has still not received the package. I filed a claim and the Cibolo post office called me yesterday and said "all I can say is that we are sorry and hopefully it turns up eventually. I will have a talk with the carrier so that he is aware of what happened." THAT'S IT. THAT'S ALL I GET FOR THEM LOSING MY SET OF KEYS THAT HAS BOTH MY EXPENSIVE VEHICLE KEYS AND 3 DIFFERENT HOUSE KEYS. read more

They can't seem to put my packages in my mailbox. Second time in a month that they've put my packages in someone else's box. First time it was check books and this time it was a part for my truck that I paid extra to have it delivered faster. Tracking shows it was delivered, but it's not there. It's Sunday today and Monday is Labor Day, which is why I wanted it sooner. I've only been in my house 4 months too. I also opted to have my packages put at my front door instead of the small lock boxes in the community boxes and it states that in my box. How hard is it to put packages in my box or to my door? Where is zero stars. The employees at this post office are so rude and not knowledgable. I had to deal with the manager today who spoke to me as if I was 5 years old. I purchased an item online. The store shipped it in a incorrect envelope. The post office then wants me to pay additional shipping because the online store made a mistake on the proper envelope used. Instead of apologizing to me for the post office not catching this error, the manager reprimands me who's the consumer who just trying to obtain my online purchase that I already paid shipping on. I recently moved the Cibolo area and had made a mistake with my COA with putting in the incorrect new address. I called this morning at opening time 8am and the gentleman that answered the phone basically spoke to as if I was an idiot. Even though he was like that with me on the phone being the type of person that I am I thanked him for his help and he just hung up the phone. I believe in first impressions and with this experience with this one man it has made me feel as if this post office and its employees are in need of some serious customer service training. I use this post office about 3 times a week. I can tell you that it's one of the better post office I've experienced but that doesn't make it efficient. Employees are rude and they all look like they hate their job. When I drop off my prepaid I always wait for a receipt because I can't trust that my package will be processed immediately. They have lost my packages before. One time I packaged a fragile very expensive item marked with fragile stickers and this side up sticker and after scanning it they just dropped it to the ground. I feel sorry for these employees when I see them. They look like they truly hate their job. I consider that when I drop off here. read more

I wish I could give this post office a zero star. It never fails that every time I drop off a package for my mom, the lady there always gives me a hard time & an attitude. I don't care how much was spent on the shipping label, I nor my mom are paying for it. (Posh mart sale) I went there today to drop off a box, & she told me the weight limit for that box was 5 pounds & the weight was 10. It was some damn shoes!!! Shoes do not even weight 5 pounds. This post office is unreliable. We frequently receive mail in our box for the street over and walk it over to them if it is not obviously junk mail. Last week they lost a package and claim no responsibility for it. The tracking on the package was "out for delivery" then "returned to USPS facility" the same afternoon. After that tracking on the package just stopped and is "Not updated". So essentially the package disappeared. They say it was sent back but they have no record of that since the tracking stopped. They suggested that I insure packages. The vendor has not received it back at this point and we are out the $$. Incompetence at its finest. read more

Post Office 1103 Cibolo Texas I have had issues with this post office losing mail or throwing it away and or someone stealing mail who works for this facility. I send my mail through my post box in my housing area and no problems. I go in and buy stamps and mail the package or letter and they never seem to make it to there destination. This last week I went in and certified a letter and sent one to same address same day along with a package. Certified mail was receive 2 days later how ever regular first class mail to same address 15 miles from my house and 6 days later the first class mail has not been received. This is third time I have had issues with this post office. Their security and respect for the customers mail is horriable. The individual I spoke with was useless. Giving excuses like I have worked with the post office for 31 years and never heard of any thing like what your saying. (basically calling me a lier.) Filed a complaint with post office in complaint service and will continue to raise hell until the person in charge fixes the issues or moves on. read more
