That said, Shannon is the absolute exception and the true cornerstone of this location. She seems to be the only employee actually keeping this office running. We went to the Chinatown location for my daughter's passport appointment, and thanks entirely to Shannon, the experience was efficient, professional, and genuinely pleasant. She handled everything quickly and kindly, and we were in and out without any issues. USPS needs more employees like her. Please keep this location open and allow Shannon to continue providing the excellent service she clearly takes pride in.

I returned the next day to report the incident and was told the person responsible was not there. After being given the runaround, no one ever followed up or compensated me for the damage to my dress, nail, watch, and other belongings. The elevators are also raggedy and often seem poorly maintained, which does not inspire confidence in the overall safety and upkeep of the facility. It's disappointing to experience such poor customer service, especially since the post office operates with very little competition. I do have another post office that I prefer, but this location is open later, which is sometimes more convenient. The facility often looks deserted, although there has been security in the parking lot since it reopened. Another frustration is that the location sometimes closes earlier than posted hours or seems to close whenever it wants. Overall, every visit feels like an inconvenience.

The clerk was assisting the first person and closed out. The lady ahead of me didn't speak English and the clerk didn't speak Spanish so the transaction was tough to hear.
