Fair enough, easy fix. Instead, they chopped it off on the passenger side. About a day later, the noise was back. I crawled under the car and could see the drivers side was doing the same. I took a screwdriver and bent the shield out of the way and noise never returned. I'm just baffled that they didn't know how to fix the issue easily or without a less destructive way. Tells me they didn't test drive it or really diagnose the issue to begin with.

I stayed there and waited the entire time. Two and a half hours later, my vehicle had still not even been touched. I understand that shops can get busy and unexpected things can come up, but if you give a customer a 1 1/2-hour estimate, I think it's reasonable to expect the work to at least be started within that timeframe--or at minimum, to be given an update about the delay. I wasted 2 1/2 hours sitting there waiting for a service that hadn't even been started. Very frustrating and not the level of customer service I expected from Les Schwab.
