Also, the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. The battery recovered overnight after I asked for my battery back to return since it was only 12 months of the 36 month of Interstate's warranty. Manager Jay told me a car's alternator does not charge the battery. Then at the end of the next day Global Car Care called to say after the test drive it was not shifting properly so needed to replace the Steering Rack and Tie Rods of a cost of $2,069.21. I declined and picked up the car, no improvement in problem. - cost of $456.31 I then took the car to Town Toyota, they quickly identified the problem as a loose steering rack bolt that needed to be tightened. They tightened the bolt and all other cradle bolts, reset all sensors, and front wheel alignment. The total cost for Town Toyota service department to resolve problem and improve drivability in a half day was $347.10.

Installation and checkout took about a week and a half. They were very thorough and kept me informed along the way. My service rep, Doug, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My truck is currently as of 4/27/20 at 247,113 and no major or minor issues, slight grinding when I do a sharp turn so control arms might be bad. Didn't really have any complaints, yes there very annoying about getting you to buy a car, most car salesmen are as they get a cut of the profit. One quick note about a certain salesmen named Jared, I asked him right to his face what engine size is the truck, he pushed and said 4L. It was a 2.7 liter. They don't even make 4.0L engine for this make and model the highest they go is 3.4 so that really threw me off, obviously just lying to get more bang for the buck, so there no honest that's one. Two I also noticed the check engine light was on, told them to check it out, they said it was nothing and an error, they hooked up a machine and "erased it". Didn't really fix it just made the light go away, two days later lights back on. Obviously it's something, so know myself and whoever reads this review will really know there not honest, cause they lied to my face two times! In-house financing was pretty chill I guess the owner stuck his neck out for me cause I didn't have the $1000 down payment just my truck which was valued at $1,500 Trade in Value. So that's cool. The price on the van was more than fair and significantly better than I had seen elsewhere. We decided to call Carlos and let him know we were ready to move forward. After emailing in the credit app, Carlos called back with the financing details and then upon approval, arranged the paperwork. He even offered to deliver the car to us at no cost. Ted from finance called me the next day to go over the numbers and terms and verify all the information. The numbers came out as they should, no surprises and everything Carlos promised was in the paperwork. The price was great and I didn't need to even haggle. It was a relief. We decided to come in the dealer the next day, honestly still nervous things were not as easy as they seemed. . Everything was exactly as they said, and we spent a maximum of 15 min in the dealership. Buying every vehicle should always be this easy. Though they are a solid 2 hours from our house, it was worth it. It is the first time I left a dealer and really felt good about the entire experience. I am now glad my first van fell through. I paid 3800 less for the whole transaction and the van had 6.5K less miles. We will be back for all our vehicle purchasing. Honestly, best car transaction in 30 yrs.
