Lapisara Eatery - Iced Ube Latte ($8.50)

I came in at 9am on a Friday with a friend and got seated right away. The place was still packed,…read moreso it took a little while to order. There is a good amount of seating, but the tables are quite close to each other (your neighbors will be eavesdropping). We ordered the smoked salmon toast and a florentine benedict. The salmon was fresh and the toast was stacked! My friend wasn't too impressed with the benedict, but it was good. The side salad that it comes with is actually delicious! And if you have a sweet tooth, order an ube latte or thai tea, and finish with a Sweet Dream. It comes with waffles and a side of fruits, ice cream, fudge, and whipped cream.

Here i am again, asking myself the same thousand dollar question, would I come back again?…read moreAbsolutely yes! "Say yes to the rest" will be my new slogan, "rest", short for restaurant Ok, here are the reasons: Food - 5 stars: order quite a few things. Steak and eggs. Steak was perfectly cooked and sofr and seasoned. It was also already sliced, which was super nice. Since I ordered to go. The eggs, the potatoes, the toast. Everything was Absolutely delicious. Avocado toast, was very delightful. Omelet was vary savory and delicious. And waffle was very good. Everything had flavor and the portions were generous. The presentation was nice, even in to-go containers. Prices - 4 stars: prices were just right, considering the cost of food. Steak and eggs was $30, but again, good portions and you can taste the quality. I always say, if your prices are up there, it better be worth it. And the prices were not high, just right, but they show for it. Facility and staff - 5 stars: obviously if you're eating at this place is because you're staying around locally, parking can be a challenge but jot impossible. Facility is very clean, nice and presentable and staff members are very nice. Only one suggestion to either owner or business manager. Find containers with perforations on the lids for it's me like steak and potatoes so that bread and potatoes don't become soggy with the moisture. Dont take my word for it, come give them a try, I dont think you'll be disappointed

Delicious Beignets & Breakfast!…read more We were visiting the area from San Francisco, and a friend recommended this restaurant. Get there early because it fills up very quickly! We arrived just in time before it started getting busy. I was especially excited to try the beignets, so I ordered the Beignet Flight--crawfish, cinnamon apple, chocolate, and the classic regular beignet. Très bon! They were all delicious! The crawfish had great flavor, with dough that was crispy outside and soft inside. The regular beignet was especially good--crispy outside, soft inside, just perfect. And definitely eat the chocolate beignet while it's still warm. When you bite into it, that warm, gooey chocolate comes out. So good! The coffee was excellent too. I highly recommend a latte with the beignets. My husband had the Eggs Benedict with deep-fried green tomatoes and bacon, and it was another level! The crispy green tomato with the eggs and sauce was such a great combination. If you didn't tell me it was green tomato, I might have thought it was an apple! We also loved seeing so many locals there. You know a place is good when the locals keep coming back. Highly recommend this restaurant to visitors and locals alike. Give it a try--you're going to love it!

Came on a Tuesday morning & the wait wasn't too bad for a party of 2. It was my bf bday and we ordered mimosas, we got ID and the waiter noticed it was his bday and said happy bday. We didn't expect a candle to come with his breakfast plate and it did & was so thoughtful & cute. I ordered the plow which has: two eggs, two lemon ricotta pancakes + plow potatoes with choice of house made pork sausage patties, bacon, or chicken apple sausage link. I went with the bacon and it did not disappoint The lemon ricotta pancakes were the star of the show so soft & yummy. My bf ordered the steak & eggs which has: hanger steak, chermoula, two eggs, simple green salad & buttered toast. We both grubbed & can't wait to be back to try the rest of the menu.
