But the next day the Internet speed had started to crawl to less than dial up speeds and keep dropping connections. One minute it would be good, then crawling, then nothing. I called the technical line and they ran me through all of the obvious things like checking the connection and restarting the modem. I thought it has to be the line. So they sent out a guy to the house who checked everything out. He noticed some levels were off so he authorized a line guy to come out (who was there in a few hours), he also went up on a ladder to check out the lines on the pole. The line guy came and noticed a few loose screws and tamped down the levels to where they should be. Meanwhile, the inside guy tried out his modem and laptop on my inside connection and was getting some great speeds. So it probably was a combination of some line issues but mainly the modem was failing. I ordered a new modem and router to replace the single unit gateway that was using and BOOM I started getting all of the speed I was paying for. So much for the $200 gateway (modem and router combined) I purchased thinking I was future proofing my setup. I replaced it with an $89 modem and $100 router. Maybe this way if one goes I can just replace a single, less expensive piece.

Their customer support IT systems must be awful because the reps can only open cases for the back office in my experience. I would leave them but I'm stuck because I'm a renter. It may take you several attempts to get your service hooked up correctly. After 5 visits I simply gave up and accepted the fact it was a subpar company. A while later during another service call it was discovered that the 5 technicians who were all involved in my install missed something. The service regularly cuts out and regularly fails. Even the extra speeds I'm offered for internet crash and are incapable of normal use. I had to put wifi boosters through out the house. That cost money. The cable service always fails. The recording capability is sketchy. There are no public access stations that I could find and the return to the public in the Lakes Region amounts to nothing more than poor service. The politicians gave them exclusive rights and we received the shaft. The best thing I did for my television was switch to Direct TV. I'm stuck with metro cast wifi. I disconnected my phone with them.

if you are someone that has a good service with breezeline youre in luck…read more i moved into an apartment and out of the five cable companies i couldve called i used breezeline. they told me the equiptment would take 3 to 5 buisness days maximum! they shipped it on a monday. i checked tracking 3 days later my package was literally sitting a mile from my home waiting for delivery. problem is ups says it will take 6 more days to reach my home a mile away. ups says that breezeline is lying to their customers. if they wanted it here in three days , they would pay for same day mail or three day delivery. however , they sent it ground mail , which takes 8 to 10 days. so now i sit here still without cable, internet or phone, because i trusted to go through breeze line and u.p.s doesn't really care once they have your package.there's nothing you could do or say about it. so basically, breeze line get your money, knowing it's gonna take twice the amount of time to get to you that they say just so when you call and complain, they can offer you credit toward your bill. meanwhile, you still went 10 days waiting for internet. when they told you , it would take three... if you're able to go to a reputable cable company i suggest you do so
