Calling to cancel ATT TV, you can't cancel via the net, they continued to attempt to talk me into staying. Other TV suppliers have the same services for less than half the price and ATT. The ATT TV app also is terrible, takes a long time to load, buffers all the time , even one of the service installers had mentioned it was an bad application.

I stopped by looking at my Internet options with big internet pricing constantly going up. It's in…read morea strip mall with plenty of parking. The guy seemed pretty knowledgeable with my current account and looked at all the current promotions, bundles, plans and incentives that I was eligible for. To my amazement I could get 5g home internet and my unlimited phone plan with hot spot for like $10 more than my current cell phone bill for a 36 month contract, that's a no brainer since I have had them for many years and I see no need to switch carriers. Free equipment is also part of the 36 month contract with an offset of 36 equal credits to cover the hardware. After 45 days I get a $200 virtual gift card that last for 90 days but my plans are buying a $ 200 Amazon gift card that doesn't expire so I don't loose it. I said let me think about it and I left thinking about it.

Oh hell no. We just…read moremoved to a new house and needed to get some type of TV service going meaning the choice was between cable (nope, sorry never again), DirecTV or Dish. Dish currently has the best pricing and so I went online to set it up which should be a relatively simple process, right? Nope. I won't go into the long, horrible story but I'm now on my third rep over 4 days and between online chat and the phone, it's well over 2 hours of my time. Bottom line, they messed up during the credit check process and ended up "locking" me out because they pinged it so many times. They promised a call back to complete the process which of course never happened and when I finally did get set up complete they tried to bait and switch me to a more expensive package. On top of that, more than one rep tried to get me to give them a second credit card number - even though they acknowledged the first one worked just fine. Super, super, super shady. The whole process was time consuming, inconvenient, frustrating and more than a little sketchy. There are very limited choices for TV service in this market and I believe all of them suck. Know that Dish is no exception and in fact, sucks HARD.

Also HULU has a "glitch" the layover showing how the time the episode has been playing just shows up randomly. I use ROKU when watching HULU. I have been a Spectrum customer for years this new device is a real let down. Think twice before changing from what works JUST FINE (your old cable box) to this new, UNTESTED, GLITCHEY device.
