When I received my bill for the month, Dish had charged me a $30 cancellation fee for canceling the Dish Gold Plan. I was charged a fee to cancel a service I never signed up for!!!!! Is this legal?

It has been over a year since we've started an account. In that year we have been told they'd do…read moreeverything they could to get us internet service. However when we set up an appointment for a technician to provide the service they either cancel the night before (usually without giving a reason) or just don't show up. According to the Comcast customer agreement policy if an appointment is missed (not canceled) $20 will be credited towards our account. In the past year they have missed 4 of the 5 appointments they didn't cancel but only credited $15 total to our account. The most recent appointment we've scheduled they said they understood our problem and promised us someone would show up. The night before the appointment they called not just to cancel the appointment, but to also deactivated our account because "we didn't provide an address". We have not moved and there has been no address changes since we started our account. The address has been listed in their records for the past year, the one we tell every customer service person we call with problems. They ignored it, deactivated our account, and when I went to the local store they claimed to be locked out of their system. Comcast is apparently the only provider that can service our house and I'm guessing the lack of competition makes them think they don't have to do their job. I gave them one star because there is no lower option. If you can get serviced by another provider do it because I've waited a year and the only thing they've provided me with is frustration. "Choose a job you love, or Comcast, and you'll never have to work a day in your life"

I was on a prepaid plan so yes it was paid off when I got it. My bill was 50.00 dollars a month before that day. After she got done I had lost my Military Discount had to resign for auto and my Bill was close to a $100.00. After several day of being on the phone with them I got everything back as it was and my bill was $40.00. The next month my bill went back up to $50.00 but then they took away the military discount and my mobil hotspot. Needless to say I am no longer a Verizon Customer.

We use the software to accept donations on our website, email campaigns, and more. The training team had me up and running in less than an hour. In setting up the mobile website for our organization, we encountered a small problem with the service and contacted their customer support. Click and Pledge offers free support that is supposed to contact you by the 6pm the following day, over 2 weeks I submitted 4 support requests and was never contacted on a single one. Desperate to resolve the issue, I contacted their premium support for which they charge $150 to initiate the call and then $75 per hour. I was directed to a voicemail system and told my call would be returned in 2 hours. That was yesterday...needless to say I am not holding my breath.
