We looked around a little, noticeably confused, and after a few minutes, he looks up from his phone and asks what we're looking for. We told him and he just points over to the front corner, never offering to do a size check or ask any more details. He went right back to staring at his phone after answering. Whenever he spoke to us, his voice was sharp, almost commanding and he seemed to be rushing us, whereas I observed him speaking very mildly to a White male customer. After I purchased a vest for my grandson, I observed the man inspecting the dressing room that my grandson used to try on vests before he went to inspect the vest area, as though he suspected us of some kind of wrong doing. It arrived in a couple of days and I noticed it had a little smudge of something on it. I was crushed and thought "I'll never find my sweater!". I called back, Kathy was not in but I spoke with Olivia who found the other one and shipped that to me, as well as a pre-paid package to send the other one back. Just had a terrible experience at this particular store. There was a buy two clearance items and…read moreget two free special going on. Which is why I went into the store in the first place. So I bought two pops, a fleece throw, and pants. After looking at the receipt I noticed that I did not receive any of the items for free. When I asked why the associate (Kacy) told me that yellow tags were "clearance" and black tags were "promo". I did not see a sign anywhere explaining the difference between colored tags. So one would assume that any markdown sticker would be considered "clearance". I then said I would like to return the items. She told me I had to sign the original receipt first. So I did. She then refunded the black tagged pops and as she handed me a return receipt she highlighted the part that said "all clearance is final sale". I was not allowed to go back and pick the two free items. I also was not provided with the original receipt as she took it back. I was only given the receipt that had the two returned items on it. There were a couple ways this could have been handled differently and satisfactory. When bringing two clearance items to checkout she could have said "hey you're getting two clearance items, did you know you can pick two more for free?" This would have led to clarification and is just good business practice to make sure customers are informed about specials offers and sales. I also could have been offered the option to go pick out my other two free items. Which would not have been ideal but would have been acceptable. Making me sign the receipt before explaining the returns made me feel, after the fact, cheated. Not being given a receipt for the other products I purchased is just bad business. So in the end I feel victim to their dishonesty and/or ignorance of good customer service. I've never had a bad experience at any Hot Topic before. In fact, it has always been a favorite store of mine. This was my first experience in this particular hot topic and will most definitely be my last. This whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I hope that my experience is just an isolated thing.

Coffee Ltd., a menswear store based in Lynchburg, Virginia. The new owner has expressed his commitment to preserving the legacy and traditions of Davidsons, ensuring a seamless transition for its customers. The Roanoke store will continue to operate under the Davidsons name and will retain its current staff, brands, and personalized services. The new owner plans to introduce new opportunities for growth, such as bringing in some new brands while keeping Davidsons' established lines, and merging the websites of both stores to allow for online shopping.
