He also offered to reimburse me for my Uber expenses, which I also appreciated. Overall, the experience still wasn't the best but I can appreciate the apology and actions that came afterwards from the Car Carriage. **Full transparency: I have updated my review from two stars to four following the update.** This was my first time using an auto transport company and I decided to use the Car Carriage based on a solid review from a family friend. During my initial consultation via online system and call, the company was very responsive. James was a great help to understand what the process would be like and get an accurate look at the total costs. I also appreciated that I did not have to pay anything upfront until the car was delivered. The Car Carriage is based in Texas and they use contractors around the country to pick up your car. The contractor I used, Ad Fast Transport LLC is based in Maryland and dealing with them was the worst experience. First off, leading up to my pick-up date, I heard nothing from Ad Fast. The Car Carriage provided their contact information so I reached out and a representative named Josy picked up. Josy seemed very unorganized and unprofessional during our call and had no idea when the driver would arrive to pick up my car. This was a problem because I had a flight back to Maryland in less than four days and needed my car picked up before I left. I had to consistently call Josy to get an idea of when the driver could pick up my car. It was originally scheduled for pick up on 3/15 but it wasn't picked up until 3/17. However, this wasn't the biggest issue. The biggest issue was when I recieved a text from Josy asking me if I could meet the driver 25 minutes west from the original pickup location in a very rural area. I was very skeptical of this unprofessionalism, however, like I said before, I needed my car gone before my flight. So I agreed and drove to the location. The driver was very sweet about it all but I learned he was planning to come to the original location but was told by Josy not to. Getting back to my original location was a pain as temperatures were in the single-digits and there was no ubers or lyfts available until an hour later so I had to wait in a local motel until I could find a driver to take me home. My car was safely delivered to the contacting company but I was out $52 from the Uber and had to wait an hour in an unfamiliar part of town. When I asked Josy, how I would get home once I gave my car, her only response was "I don't know." When I reached back out to James and the Car Carriage for a response, I have yet to receive an email as of 3/24. There is no accountability and the lack of communication from all involved parties has been disheartening and frustrating to say the least. Luckily, my car was delivered safely to the listed location in a timely fashion on 3/21. However, this experience has been so traumatizing and horrific that I would not recommend the Car Carriage or any of its contractors to anyone.

DOUBLE BROKER ALERT…read more Rate did not match what customer actually had a contract with them. We verified directly with the customer at the pickup. Carriers beware--high risk of scam and double brokerage.

I purchased the car and some unseen events took place on my drive home. To be honest this is nothing the dealership could have seen in advance. I'm extremely big on how people handle situations and not what originally happens and these guys handled everything better then one could expect. They showed extreme integrity and got my car dialed in quickly giving me every update along the way. They even went as far as to drop it back off to me with a full tank of gas. I can't say enough good things about Seth and Raul's dedication to customer service. If your looking for a respectable place with people who actually do what they say go here! Also side note I went in pre approved and Raul was able to beat my already low rate.

My worst car buying experience yet. I have purchased over…read more100 cars in my lifetime, and I can absolutely say that my experience with Driven Autoplex stands out as one of the WORST. There were two good parts. First, I am pretty happy with the vehicle and, while not exactly as described, the car is in good shape and was mostly represented accurately (I was purchasing the car from another state, so relying primarily on the word of the dealer and their descriptions and photos). Secondly, I worked with the salesman, Chance and he was responsive during the sale and helpful. Unfortunately, the good was far overshadowed by the bad. During the purchase discussion I asked Raul, the Finance Manager a direct question about the state of the car's title. In my state if you have a title that is not endorsed by the dealer, the sales tax is much lower. Raul assured me that the title was a "pass through" and as such would not result in me paying a huge amount of sales tax. Now I should be clear, that I have purchased a number of cars through dealers, and I have always asked about the title condition, and legally the dealer should endorse the title, however for whatever reason Raul committed to the title not being endorsed. I committed to the purchase based on the information provided by Raul and arranged for the car to be shipped to me. A few weeks later the title showed up in the mail, and contrary to what I was told by Raul, it was not a "pass through" title. For me, this meant that the sales tax increases from $90 to about $1,000. And not only was the title endorsed by Driven, but it was processed by the dealer 2 weeks prior to my purchase, clearly showing that the commitment that Raul made was completely false. When I called he was very defensive and rude. He threatened me by saying that he "knew where I lived" and I "should be careful." I am not sure why he would have even considered saying such a thing to a customer, but it was clearly confrontational, and completely unprofessional. To Raul's credit he did call me back later, apologized and told me that he did recall making the commitment, and that he would talk to his Title Clerk, Florence and that she would take care of getting a duplicate title. I did hear from Florence about a week later, and she let me know that "getting a duplicate title would be just too much work," and was not going to happen. I then spent 3 weeks trying to contact Raul (who was really skilled at dodging me) to see what he would do to make this right, since he knew he'd made the commitment to me. Finally he told me that his owner Kevin would talk to me. After a few days and several texts, I did finally get Kevin on the phone who denied that Raul ever made a commitment regarding the title, even though he was not present during the initial discussion. Kevin was very defensive and did not want to hear my side of the story, nor even consider any fair resolution. After dealing with Kevin, I can certainly see why Raul is comfortable using misleading sales tactics. It is clearly condoned by Kevin the owner of Driven Autoplex. I can only imagine that if the owner is okay with a certain misleading approach, the management will follow their example. When I told Kevin that I planned on leaving a negative review regarding Driven Autoplex, he also used threats of retaliation. That cemented my commitment to leave this review. Bottom Line: I had the "pleasure" of giving Driven Autoplex $14,000 of my hard-earned cash only to be misled, lied to, bullied, and then threatened. I would advise anyone working with them to proceed with caution and get details in writing.

We know for sure because we have been communicating with 1 person in particular and their name is a five star review. Wow! The absolute worst company ever. They got us to pay this because they quoted us the cheapest quote of only $2,300. ...BUT when they showed up, they changed the quote to $3,800 on top of the $1,200 deposit totaling $5,000. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick turnaround time. The carrier was going to be ready on the first day out of the 5-day window - perfecto!. This last minute accommodation was phenomenal as I called to have my car shipped in the next 48 hours. The door-to-door service was very convenient. On the day before shipment, the carrier contacted me with a time slot for delivery. They also kept me posted on the ETA on the shipment day. My car was loaded on the transport truck, and off it went. It arrived in CA safe and sound. In fact, it arrived a day earlier than anticipated, which was in the benefit of the recipient. Now I regret not shipping cars sooner instead of driving many miles across the states to reach my destination. It saves work and time - worth the money. I will definitely use this service for shipping again with my next move: professional and reliable.
