I came in yesterday to mail off a yearly bill, I make it a habit to also pay for a return receipt, and I already filled out my pre stamped envelope with my personal senders address sticker already on the envelope, I filled out at home. There are two bald headed males who work there, the one with the glasses was very nice and professional, the one without the glasses asked me a rude question "Is this envelope yours"..? As in implying if I paid for the pre stamped envelope, common sense would say how else would I get it? The only way to get a pre stamp envelope, is to purchase it directly from the employee. I already brought the pre stamp envelope with me before entering the store, that means the envelope is already paid for , then once I answered him yes, he purposely overcharged me, when I came in the day before when the nice bald headed employee with glasses rang up my total , it was $9.17 , the next day when the bald headed employee without the glasses rang me up, he overcharged me $10.47, which I thought it was very odd, I didn't question it, but I wanted to share this on Yelp, I will NEVER ever go to this location again. The bald headed employee without the glasses needs to be either retrained or terminated .. My advice if you do go to this location, I'd request to be served by the bald headed employee with the glasses or the female employee.. read more

I'm reviewing this for our businesses all here at 5208 Carolina beach rd. Wilmington, NC 28412. Last week we received one visit from our post office mail carrier. One out of 6 days they should deliver the mail. I have complained on line like I should, we have called. the email response I received stated maybe we should deliver it to a blue mailbox in front of the post office, and when I asked about incoming mail, they stated we should just get a P.O. Box. why should we, our mailbox worked great for years!!!! No, I think maybe your carrier should make a right hand turn, drive 100 feet to our mailbox and deliver the mail to all 16 businesses here at this address. I have reached out to internal affairs for the post office in Greensboro, we'll see if that does any good. not sure why the usps decided we aren't important enough to receive good mail service, but they did. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. These people are the worst and most incompetent people I have ever had the ruin of meeting. After calling 38 times on 5/29/2026, I received no answer throughout the day. Talk about incompetency, these people have no idea what they are doing and all should be fired by corporate. This is easily the worst customer experience I have ever had. My amazon package was not delivered due to the delivery driver scanning the package to say it was delivered when it never was and claimed it as a wrong mailing address. Absolutely ridiculous, I went this morning before work and the guy said yes it will be delivered today, and that my carrier just got back from vacation. Just mind blowing the dumfuck people are all in one office. read more

The staff here is most courteous and professional. No matter what clients demand, I have never seen them lose their cool or professionalism. Everyone is eager to help and very polite. Great location! read more

The Myrtle Grove and Fayetteville Post Offices have a cute game they play. They don't scan the prepaid packages until they reach their final destination, sometimes as much as 7/8 days later. Or they put an exception on the package and NEVER ship the item! If you must use this PO, then stand in line for your prepaid packages and get a receipt, this insures they must scan or put exception on your shipment! read more

This one beats all of the other branches for fast and friendly. Do go in and crack a wide smile for the lady behind the counter. She treats everybody like she wants to be treated, and her thoughtfulness saved me TEN dollars! read more

I will never use the post office to send anything and if I can keep my packages from arriving by postal service I will. The mail carrier for Holly Tree marked my package as delivered but it was not she took it back to the post office but never changed it saying it was not delivered. After filing a claim the post office called and told me the package was there. When asked why it was still marked as delivered they would not give me an answer. She then told me she would have it delivered the following Monday but it was never delivered. So I filed another claim to get reimbursed. It was denied then I appealed and that was denied. it's funny how every package before that had to be left at my door and after this. I have received. Because of the mail carrier's incompetence I am now out of $100 And my merchandise. I do not know why the postal service even offers for you to put a claim in because they never intend to reimburse you. Just a total waste of time. I see now why they are a failing business none of them know what they are doing and are all incompetent. I see now why their ratings are just a 1 or 2 star. read more

White lady was very rude when I was asking about my package. Why would they email me a picture of my mail and have no information upon arrival it's been 7 days. Now I have to get my mail resent and "tracked" because they can't do the simply job of putting the mail in my mailbox. read more

Had a scheduled delivery for this coming Monday. This location decided to send out a notice to my phone that was on a truck and being delivered two days early. Items cost over $2000, wasn't going to let them leave it out in the rain like they constantly do so I cancelled my very first planned vacation in YEARS due to the pandemic just to have them claim "delivery attempted" while I was LITERALLY standing ten feet from the mailbox in my front yard mowing the lawn. No carriers have been in my neighborhood all day. The item is just heavy and someone decided they didn't want to pick it up so didn't even bother to try to deliver it and listed it as attempted. read more

Literally the worst post office I've ever been to, the employees are rude and unhelpful. I've had nothing but issues with my mailman , my medicine is always being misplaced along with most of the stuff I order. My carrier lied and stated my package was delivered but I have no clue where it is, he's always on his phone instead of doing his job and he has a terrible attitude. I've never seen such crappy service in my life. These people need to get it together, if I could give them negative stars I would. read more

Wow this is the worst post office I've ever had the privilege of having my mail "delivered " by, not only do they deliver at 10:00pm but they deliver your mail to the wrong mail box. It wouldn't be an issue if it was the first Time but they seem to have made a habit out of this so instead of doing it right the first time now I have to call the post office tomorrow because they are closed today, so they can send the knuckle dragger back out here find what box they put it In and have them deliver it to its correct box. Gotta love the good old USPS!! read more

If there is a review with more than one star, it is most likely a paid review. This office is unprofessional and rude. The workers seem to not care about customer satisfaction I assume. read more

Been going to this Post Office for nearly 15-years and have always had great service. Was very surprised to see negative reviews.

Why is it so hard to get the correct mail? We are getting the neighbors mail and they are getting ours, even mail from streets away from our neighborhood. Even packages are being delivered to the wrong address, this goes on every week, are your people on DRUGS? We have lived in this area (28412 towards snow cuts bridge) for over a year and it goes on non stop. How hard is it to do your job? We have complained in person at the post office but the problem persists. Give IQ , Drug tests, Something !!! read more

Despite contacting the US Post Office and the Myrtle Grove Post Office who serves our Deer Crossing neighborhood, continues to have regular (almost weekly) mail delivery issues. Wrong mail delivery to wrong mailboxes. Packages delivered to wrong addresses with other people's mail wrapped around it. Packages tossed on the porches with fragile contents. We have WEEKLY mail delivery issues for over 2 years! - VERY POOR mail delivery service and this has been an issue for over two years with ZERO improvement. It seems like NO ONE seems to care about the poor service being provided by the Myrtle Grove Post Office. Our neighborhood is very frustrated having to deal with the gang mail boxes which is not working! Maybe if we had individual mail boxes where the postman gets paid for each mailbox and not deliver to a gang of 30+ mail boxes and only get paid for one they might care and take more time to deliver the mail correctly. Time for some changes to the Myrtle Grove Post Office and fix this never ending problem. WE have spoken to the Main Post Office in Wilmington, NC and they have spoken to the Myrtle Grove Office and the problems continue almost daily. We were told by one temporary delivery postman that the mail carriers at Myrtle Grove DO NOT CARE since they are required to deliver mail for 30+ addresses for EACH gang box mail delivery point and the only get paid for ONE delivery instead of the 30+ if we had private mail boxes. read more

Possibly the worst run post office I have ever had the displeasure to visit. The self serve kiosk was the best thing to ever happen there. At 10 AM, even if there are 450 customers in line, the staff will take an old fashioned coffee break. At least, in the small midwestern town that I grew up in, the post office closed daily for a 2 hour siesta and everyone knew the schedule!!!!!!! You can easily wait for 2 hours in the line at the Monkey Junction PO. I now understand the term going POSTAL!!!!!!!!!! read more

The man that works for the passport office in this location is so RUDE. My mother went to grab a new application for a passport. She is so excited to get her first passport. The man (tall white hair, looks like colonial Sanders) said, "are you sure you're not doing your renewal?" She said, "no it's my first time." He chuckled and other people that were waiting in line chuckled. Why would they laugh? There is absolutely nothing funny about that situation. Then the man continued to single her out by saying confidential information out loud and making her feel inexperienced. This process should be exciting and he was far from that. read more

I don't know what people are talking about, because I love this post office. I also happen to love the one on Oleander as well. They are some of THE most friendly people in the whole world. If you go to any post office in a semi-busy area, you're going to have to stand in line. So, if you're there for something that the super helpful self-serve kiosk can't handle (which is nothing) you know you're going to have to wait. But 9 times out of 10, by the time I get to the counter it doesn't matter because the friendly postal worker is humming. Or he/she helps me pick out (for the hundredth time) my favorite 'pretty' stamps with a smile. Really, they make my day. At least they did today. read more

The best post office branch in the Wilmington area. The main branch comes close, but the staff here really go the extra mile to be helpful.
