So for one I have never been to a post office before and 2 I just moved down to Wilmington so my address on my ID is different then my package and I used my nickname but I had the order the receipt and everything that I placed the order they wouldn't even give me a package I spent 30 on smh I never was able to receive my package maybe I should take it to court bc my mail box was to small for it to fit they gonna not give me my package also there very unprofessional they act like they don't wanna be at work very rude barley at the desk smh read more

The older white gentleman behind the counter right most if you are a customer threw down my forwarding orders when I asked why I wouldn't need one from my current address to my new one and said with an attitude, "Your mail's going to be delayed..." He was the opposite of customer service and now I can't find a phone number to call to complain. As, Arimar said last year, they do not answer their phone, which apparently they had scrubbed from the internet, but thanks to a 5 year old GPS, I discovered is 910 313-3265. The answering machine says "an agent will be with you shortly", but this is a lie. After 3 minutes of ringing, they hang up on you. read more

I was able to get in and out really quick! I went on a Tuesday at 4:30, and the line moved very quickly, with two tellers at the front. They were nice and courteous. Most importantly, this location was smart, and the parking lot goes around the back, and out a side street, which lets you turn at a traffic light! I don't know about you, but trying to turn onto Oleander without a traffic light is a nightmare, so I greatly appreciated that nice surprise! read more

Keeps trying to deliver packages 20 minutes before the business opens. Held mail window unresponsive. Horrible customer service.

This is easily the worst post office in town. I tried to go in Monday after a holiday weekend to mail two small packages. When I arrived there were twenty five people already in line, ten minutes later the line had yet to move. There were only two people working and patience is not my strong suite so I decided to try the electronic postage kiosk which had a much shorter line. Twenty minutes later I had postage for only one item because the other was too wide for the electronic kiosk therefore I had to get back in the line which had barely moved and increased exponentially. No joke, the line was out the front door. I waited over an hour before I finally saw the postman who was very rude and frustrated with my lack of knowledge about certified mail. Complete joke. Our driver regularly can't be bothered to drive 50 feet down the road to deliver a package to our house. She will leave a missed delivery slip in our mailbox. I work from home. I barely leave my house. My office is next to my door. There is a big window that lets me see anyone coming down our driveway. I have dogs that lose their shit if someone knocks. Well, this is the one post office in town that has the worst customer service agent at the front desk. All the other post offices in Wilmington are very kind and just plain nice and very helpful. There is one particular guy at this post office that is not suited for his position, but has been at the counter for many years. Oh well, I just wont go to this post office again. read more

I like this post office and the employees. I thought Landline so I have been dealing with this location for a very long time and I've never been treated rudely. I've gone in there with international packages which are a pain to process but they never give me an attitude or act rude. The downtown post office has an older black man that is rude so if you want know what it is to be treated rude go down there and deal with him. I've seen them help elderly people and mentally challenged people with their postage and making sure they get the right box etc. yes the line is particularly long some days but that's just the way it is it any place you go read more

I told him that I wanted to speak to his manager because it isn't okay to talk to customers like that and he ignored me. No customer service and no way to treat a human being. Great experience today. The wait was reasonable, and when the counter attendant was unable to assist me, she directed me to another window and called for the supervisor to help me. The supervisor was very professional and pleasant, and she contacted our carrier. I received the answers I needed, and I am thrilled that our postal carrier is the same one for the past 11 years. read more

Monkey Junction post office is the worst! Although this is my "official" post office, I drive to Carolina Beach to mail anything. I had a mail carrier sign for a certified letter while I was on vacation. The carrier used a fraudulent name when signing. It just so happened that the letter was notification of a lawsuit, and signing for the letter started the legal clock ticking. Luckily, my attorney was able to get the proceeding postponed. Otherwise, I would have called the sheriff to report. There have been times that a carrier didn't bother to come down our street at all. I have mailed things, and they never arrive at their destination. I mailed my granddaughter a birthday card in May of 2017. I received it back in October of 2017. The envelope had mud and mold on it, and the card was destroyed. A sticker was placed saying the address was insufficient. I pealed off the sticker, and the address was correct. Today, I am trying to locate a package that the tracking notification indicates as being delivered. I have searched, my husband and son have searched - no package. The original phone number at MJ has been disconnected, and I cannot figure out how to file a claim using the 800 number. Which means, I must make a trip to that sorry post office today. By the way, the Leland post office is just as sorry. read more

If I could give this place -5 stars, I would. Easily the rudest staff I ever ever encountered. Not just at a post office, but out of anywhere I've ever been PERIOD. I came in right when I got off work at 4:30 because they had failed to deliver my package for absolutely no reason. They refused to give me my package because, and I quote, "It's almost closing time and there's no one here to look for your package". This miserable old fart did not even try. If you are that miserable at your job, maybe you shouldn't work there anymore. They refused to even try to look for my package. I don't know what the old fart's name is, but it's clear he should NOT be working with people. I despise ordering items online because of the CHANCE I'll have to deal with these people. The other post offices in Wilmington range from good to great, but the attitude of the counter staff at the Oleander branch leaves a lot to be desired. We refer to it as the "Mordor branch" of the Wilmington Post Office. read more
