Driving through to my next beach adventure, I decided to throw in a couple errands in the afternoon. Even with a line to the door, the staff here were pleasant to work with when I stopped in to get an estimate on a friend's gift mailing. And everything else about this UPS Store location worked too: Each staff member here took their time in answering customer questions. All mailing options were given, not just one off responses to get people out the door. Packaging supplies seemed well stocked. Packaging assembly stations were spread out throughout the store so the place didn't feel cramped. Although a busy location, not a bad one at all. read more

BEWARE OF PRICE GAUGING! When I went in to buy a 20" empty box for shipping, I was charged $17.33 - When I asked the clerk ( 2 times ) why it was so expensive, she said it was a heavy duty box. So reluctantly I bought it and went over to the UPS service at Staples the next day to ship it. The clerk told me the same boxes there are $4.90 each. I felt like I was ripped off at The UPS Store. I then called that UPS on 4403 OLEANDER DRIVE ( WILMINGTON) and asked if I could get a refund for the price difference but they said the fee was for their built in shipping coverage and could not be refunded- I obviously would have brought the box back to ship the package from there had known this! Melissa ( or Alyssa) the clerk who neglected to inform me of this, told me I could just bring the actual box itself back which at that point was not going to happen ,as I had already packed it up and was in the process of shipping it. I then asked to speak to a supervisor because I thought that was negligence on their part and passing that cost on to a customer without an explanation was not fair. I was told a supervisor would call back ,but after an hour and a half I had to call back and spoke with FAITH THE STORE MANAGER She told me the staff was mostly new and that's too bad it happened but there was nothing she could do, AND THAT IS THEIR CORPORATE POLICY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION- GO TO ANOTHER UPS STORE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF! ( or maybe they do it at all the locations?) Not cool to charge almost $18.00 for an empty box when you can buy them for $5.00, can't imagine how much revenue UPS makes on this hidden fee! read more

Dropped off an Amazon return package in mid September, but 6 weeks later it's still undelivered. The UPS tracker created by this store shows the status Label Created, but nothing else...no indication that it was ever shipped... or that the package properly left the store. read more

DO NOT go to this location. The store owner Seth does not run an efficient business. He charges $3 to print 1 label, then turns around and says his printers do not work. Long story short, was unable to ship my item. Go to another store where they will actually provide you with service. read more

This is probably the worst experience I've had with a mailbox store ever. When I went in to open my box I specifically told the guy I would need packages to be received while I was out of the country and unreachable by phone (from Thanksgiving through the first week of class in January, so, basically six weeks). On December 1, my packages arrived. One was very large. The other two were small. They contained: 1) two chairs (large), 2) a set of dishes, and 3) 12 tablet computers. When we arrived back in our the US, I got a com left on December 4th telling me my three boxes had arrived and asking when I would pick them up. Since it was now January, I called back and got another employee who said I had "a couple" boxes there and it was okay to come pick them up "anytime". So we go to the store and my three boxes from last month are missing. Manager claims he had UPS return them because they were leaking oil and smelling and "this is not a storage facility." However he kept no records of the supposedly returned boxes, did not notify me, and twice slipped up and said that they were "thrown away." The merchant has no record of the returns. Also what would leak or smell? The tablets? Manager was very rude and unhelpful. If he wasn't okay with the conditions under which I rented the box then he needs to deal with that with his employees. read more

Store was awesome!! They helped me out more then I ever would have thought. I had to get something out overnight, and there were so many struggles and I was getting really frustrated, by the owner stepped in and found solutions for me and it all worked out in the end. I would send everyone to them. Best UPS store I have ever gone too. read more

Yesterday I visited this location to mail a package to Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. The manager struggled to find the arrival address in the system. Considering that I succesfully mailed a package to the same address last year despite the same problem, I asked him why this issue was repeated. He explained that UPS didn't save  "international or remote addresses in the system". Let me reiterate: the package was going to Martha's Vineyard. Massachusetts. It had a street address and zipcode. There is a UPS location and USPS there. I can understand a situation like this happening once, but after a second time AND poor excuse by the manager, that was surely my last time using that location for shipping. read more

When I go the UPS Store, I'm looking for a fast experience. I almost always arrive with pre-paid shipping labels so I should be able to just drop and go 95%+ of the time. This store has repeatedly met that expectation. They are friendly and take your prepaid package for drop off even if there is a line. They have even applied the tape and affixed my prepaid label for me. If you're tired of the USPS and are looking for a better, faster, more convenient way to ship packages, then this is it. read more

Moving and Spectrum has a deal with UPS to take the cable there and UPS will send it back. I stopped in and asked the owner about this. Just bring it in and he will take care of it. Two days later it was not the case. If you need a stamp, fine, it not go elsewhere. read more

I called this branch twice in need of immediate assistance for an important package containing live fish. Before I could even finish my sentence I was rudely directed to the 1-800 number that I already tried. I will be taking my future business elsewhere. read more
