I decided to go a different route for our wedding invites and buy a template off of Etsy.com and then have them printed at a corporate company. When trying to get them printed at a local store they were extremely unknowledgeable about basic printing (like types of paper) so I put a post on facebook searching for a local small business. Someone suggested Dock Street and I'm so glad they did! Cindy was incredibly helpful; the template I bought was actually not quite print ready (font size, color, spacing etc.) It looked great on the computer but not so much in print. Cindy worked with me for days and days giving suggestions and instructions on making it ready for print. She printed multiple copies and had me take a look to make adjustments as needed. We finally got our end product and we have had so many compliments! We got the invitations, details card, website card, rsvp, belly band and envelopes for the same price as the big companies were charging for just the invite and envelope! I highly recommend Dock Street for all your needs!

This is after I had happily been giving them business for several months and spending thousands of dollars with them. My company is alternative, but does not depict anything negative or grotesque. Anything I print can be seen and said on daytime television. I promote love, laughter and acceptance of all walks of life. They have the right to serve whomever they choose. However, the way they conducted themselves during this transaction was extremely unprofessional. It left my business scrambling last minute to find an alternative. I believe this came from a very unfriendly place. Persons of color or different religions should be wary before doing business with this company. Also they are overpriced.

I needed a very small job done, 2-3 copies of a large format (24x36) sheet connected with a house…read morethat we are building. I sent an email for a quote and received a very timely response and a very reasonable quote. When I asked a further question, the response was immediate. The next day I was headed out, so I called to ask if they could have the job ready in 20 minutes or so. I was told yes, even though I hadn't yet sent the file. Maybe an easy call, since a job this small wouldn't disrupt anything, but a lot of places would have put a job this small at the bottom of the pile. When I arrived, I was told that there was an alignment problem with the print heads, so the first pass came back blurred. Over the course of half an hour, the problem wasn't solved (I did some other things in the meantime, so not all time was lost), so I was offered a refund. I asked if they could have it ready the next day, was told yes, so I opted to return then. In the meantime, they gave me the blurred copies to use, if possible, since they were only going to toss them anyway. Having to make a second trip back wasn't ideal, but stuff happens, and I combined it with some other errands to make it inconsequential. End of the story is that the clear copies were available the next day, as promised. All of my dealings with this outfit were at the top of the list, and all of that for a $7.50 job. If you need some printing or other graphic services, I'm sure that you could do a lot worse. I know that in the past I have. Plainly put, top notch!
