This is the first 1-star review I've ever written. I tried to return an Amazon item on 9/29 and immediately sensed the employee assisting me was having trouble processing it. Unfortunately, I didn't follow my instincts, and Amazon never received the package. The older woman who "helped" me had a very poor attitude both during the initial visit and when I returned to follow up after noticing the package was never received. When I asked what could be done, she was unhelpful with the same bad attitude, offering no solutions and essentially telling me it wasn't their problem. Now Amazon won't issue a refund, and I'm left stuck without the item and the money. read more

Went to the UPS store to have business cards made, after 10 days still no cards so I finally canceled the order. Went to Always graphics for 1000 cards printed on two sides the price was 289.00$ three day wait. Went to Staples and 1000 cards was 53.00$ and ready the next day. staples just lost a long term customer. attempted to recycle used ink cartridges and encountered a rude and hostile employee. she was nasty and hostile and did not seem to want to work at register. she was distressed that staples encourages its customers to store and then recycle used ink cartridges . I did not want reward points but wanted to recycle these items rather than dump them on the trash. she barked about only being able to recycle 6 cartridges at a time. I took my cartridges and left. I also left the other items I had planned to purchase at the checkout. your recycle count limit is stupid and your old grumpy hostile employee should get another job maybe replacing the grinch! she sets a new standard for horrible customer interaction. read more

I called staples to get some printing done, Joey was fantastic and gave me lots of insight tried to help me out best he could and I would give 4 stars for that guy, HOWEVER, the MANAGER Jessie was just rude and didn't help us at all. I had such a simple question for him after telling him there wasn't an option for what I was looking for online his response was " there's a spot somewhere on there for that" after asking who I was speaking to and if it was joey he abruptly said I'm Jessie what can I do for you in a rude tone, multiple times. If you aren't gonna give customer service as a manager maybe Joey should take your spot cause you aren't doing your job very good. The reviews speak for themselves. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Staples and using their print shop. I purchased and did a lot of the tough stuff online (which I highly recommend). I had multiple print orders with various sizes and instructions. It was done within 24 hours and ready for pickup. I made my way there, they were quick to get my order and there was one minor issue that they reprinted and fixed right on the spot. Everyone was super friendly also . read more

This Staples needs a lot of TLC from the corporate headquarters. The staffing is barely there and not helpful if they are. The shelves are half full, it is very dirty inside (bathrooms are gross) and the general feel just needs a total overhaul. This store reminds me of a place that is going out of business. I have to shop here due to my company having a business agreement with them or I would definitely shop somewhere else. I use staples online much more cause this store is just so gross. Terrible customer service in the copy area. If you have ever seen Dave chapelle's popcopy skit that's what this place is. I needed a specific color (2 copies!) she said it would be an hour for lamination. So I said to forget the lamination she said it would still be an hour... for two copies when they had 3-4 employees standing there doing nothing. I asked if I could just buy the paper and make copies on their provided copy machines. She said no I would have to buy a whole pack of it on the floor, a pack of 50 for $20. Obviously I'm not doing that for two copies. So frustrating. I could tell she was very pleased to thwart and frustrate me. Well that's why stores like this are going bankrupt and Amazon rules the world. I won't buy a thing from this store ever again. read more

Came in here today excited about making my own business cards but the associates at this location need some serious customer service skills. I seen they were busy so i didn't ask for any help on the computer while making my cards but simply figure it out on my own while being charged may I remind you so when I finally finished I went to the register to ask about printing them and the associate Lashawnda I believe her name was looked at me like I was crazy as if I was supposed to know that you have to buy your own paper and then load it in the machine and print it out yourself like i work there or something i mean her tone was just talking to me like i was dumb! As if the only question i asked the whole time i was there bothered her that much. So i decided to leave after i spent $21.53 on they computer because i refuse to give them any business after the way she talked to me like i was dumb. Think I'll try the Carolina beach rd location. read more

I called this morning to check on the availability of a specific size moving box to be used for a project at a business. Robert was very pleasant on the phone and assured me the 18 x 14 x 8 boxes that I needed were there. I asked once more prior to getting off the phone and making the drive into Wilmington to pick them up that he was SURE they had that particular size. Upon arrival, I found no boxes of that size and was told by Robert that there were plenty of boxes "close to that size" on aisle 6. Taking the time to listen to a customer and actually look for stock within your organization is apparently not a priority. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

The print shop I prefer to use does not have convenient hours for my schedule so I have started using Staples a lot more. As you can see in my previous reviews I have been very happy with both the product and customer service however after the last visit I am not sure if I will ever return. I came in two weeks ago on a Wednesday late in the afternoon with USB drive to get an image printed on 24x34 poster. After waiting 20 minutes for help the employee at the print station informed me that my document needed to be in PDF format. I said that was fine that my laptop was in the car. He rudely cut me off while I was speaking and handed me a card with an email address to send the document. I asked if they had wi-fi so I could go get my laptop and send it right away but he continued to talk over me and said they would not be able to print the one poster until the next day. I understand that my order could not be completed that day but it is no excuse for the way I was spoken to or the fact that the employee would not even permit me to put the order in while I was there. read more
