I had a good experience here just today dropping off a package with all the details and label…read morealready put on. There's social distancing norms in place with little indicators on the floor and masks on policy. There was only one counter open at my time of visit around 4pm but, there wasn't a big line so it was ok. Contrary to all the reviews I saw about this place before my visit, I was leaning towards a bad experience but, i didn't have one. It was a standard drop off for my package and I was done within a few minutes, got the receipt and headed home.

The guy (older guy with a heavy grayish beard) behind the counter said 'I don't know' to every question I asked. He was clearly getting frustrated and so was I. He finally said he didn't know anything about sending packages internationally and suggested I go to the main office...definitely seemed to want me to leave. I wanted to ask how he was able to continue working in a post office knowing so little about sending things in the mail but whatever. If you want to buy stamps I guess he could handle that but don't waste your time and I guess his time for anything beyond that.

I went into this office for renewing my kids passports and I was forced to do do expedited request…read moreeven though I did not need to. I knew how the procedure is and explained that it's not required and all we need is to send the renewal form and the "about to" expired passports. This Chinese guy (the only postman who was certified for passports service) was not willing to process for me if I didn't expedite it... He was extremely rude. He indicated that he would not care if other location would process it but not at his location. So I went to Waltham location and had it done within 15 minute. I happened to go to the Boston Passports (head quarter) location a year later for my passport for business trip and brought up this incident to them. They indicated whoever worked there in Medfield need to retake the training again. I would suggest to go to Needham, Dedham or Waltham location if it's not too far for you. The people there are a lot nicer and experienced. This one star is for the cleanliness of the location. As far as the passport service sadly to say this Chinese man deserved nothing.

So the package that the postal center received never left with UPS and is still lost. They have done absolutely nothing to try and locate our package. They ignore our requests for help even though they were the only ones to touch our valuable package of gifts. Told her I didn't feel comfortable dropping my packages off there and kept is pushing across the street to Shaws. Unsurprisingly Shaws scanned the labels in just fine with no issue, the lady clearly has no idea what she's talking about or maybe needs a new scanner that isn't broken. Additionally I couldn't help but notice peoples packages/drop offs filling the entire main lobby unsecured where people enter. Anyone could just walk in grab one and walk right out. If you need UPS or Fedex drop off just go across the street.

However, the guy at the counter (with the 6 older sisters, which I learned in our conversation) was SO NICE and just made me laugh. Service is where its at; stores either have it or they don't, and the UPS Store has a great employee with this guy! My receipt was a label which he applied onto one of their flyers with coupons for photocopying, a discount on mailbox rental and something else. A smart way to build repeat business!!

Told them the insurance is for $400 worth of speakers. Speakers where poorly packed, they arrived damage, well it doesn't matter right I'm insured I'm Smart I put insurance well so I thought. I made the claim at the store and they just gave me the run around for 4 months yes 4 months. Excuses about manager,accounting problems, the owner is not here. There's 2 ladies at the store one of them is very nice and helpful the other I won't get into is just so sad they will hire someone with this kind of attitude to do customer service. After 4 months and no check I called ups directly and my check magically showed up, to my surprise is was for half of what I insured the speakers for. Here's what I think happened I ship all the time, i do understand things happen, ups pays within 3 to 5 weeks. I have a very bad feeling that this store never insured my speakers and they kept the money, the reason why I came to this conclusion is because I was told my claim was not approved. How can a claim not be approved if they packed them they shipped them? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or hopefully the owner reads this and retrains their staff. I'm not a person to wish a business bad, but so many bad reviews, customer be aware.
