Every time I come here to ship something, the staff are friendly and my items get shipped right away. Can't ask for a better post office.

There's social distancing norms in place with little indicators on the floor and masks on policy. There was only one counter open at my time of visit around 4pm but, there wasn't a big line so it was ok. Contrary to all the reviews I saw about this place before my visit, I was leaning towards a bad experience but, i didn't have one. It was a standard drop off for my package and I was done within a few minutes, got the receipt and headed home.

This one is the most convenient to me, and is barely EVER busy. Heck, I've never seen more than one other person in the office anyway. -1 star for staff. MOST of them are very, very friendly, but there are a few old grumpy people working at this post office, who are NOT pleasant. For the rest of the post office, there is barely ever a line, so it won't take nearly as long to get through checkout, unlike it does at some points in Norwood and Westwood PO's. They have a large shipping area with boxes, tape, and all sorts of different labels. Never crowded either, like the country. Plus, large parking lot and on street parking, without having the small lots in both Norwood and Westwood. 4 stars. I will be back and suggest the E Walpole PO to others. Located on Union Street, at the Chestnut Street & Union Street fork. Open Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 9AM-Noon.

Considerations also given to the fact that I happened to run this errand on this day of December, the very deadline to send parcels (so I've heard while in line). If the website doesn't take THREE weeks to ship out stamps, I wouldn't be here. If there wasn't a pandemic, I would have gone home and come back another day (instead of heading out more than I need to). And I specifically by-pass my own town's P.O. knowing it is slow, only to come here to find the line was equally long. Well at least there is a tad more room at this branch for people to swing around while social distancing. More than 30 minutes later (and now at closing time), I got my turn. What else, they ran out of international stamps, AND the loose stamps that could add up to the same postage. The saving grace is that the gentleman didn't just stand and stare at me, but instead found solutions proactively. I ended up having to overpay a bit for each stamp (and I ordered 40+), but a few dollars is not a big loss compared to having to make another trip for another 30-min line. Next year, I'll make a reminder to order stamps before Thanksgiving.

They're mean and generational and I would urge you to find other towns that are friendlier Jewish communities. We attend a synagogue elsewhere where we have found more normal minded Jewish people. There's something inherently wrong with this town. I have a dear neighbor who is Muslim and has been told my people in this town that she really should not be wearing a hijab. Very inappropriate. Another time, my sister in law who is black got, stared down by a white woman, and when I posted the photo on social media, everyone tried to blame her elderly mindset instead of addressing the racist comments this woman made. Seriously, pick any other town. All you honestly have to do is Google Sharon Massachusetts racism. There was a lawsuit as well as a piece done with about 80 different people.

Definitely a small town, Sharon has a relatively diverse population (several Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities centers). It also ranks high in gay family friendliness with a welcoming Unitarian Universalist Church right in the center of town. The town center has a post office, two classic New England churches, the town library, two small bank branches, a former-Starbucks-turned-French cafe, and a lot of trees. Also, two restaurants are worth mentioning: Pizzagando in the center of town has some decent NY style pizza, which is rare in New England, and Alice's Mandarin Taste is the best Chinese food outside of Boston, and they offer a gluten free menu, too. Down the road there is also Ward's Berry Farm, a popular local destination for picking your own fruit and picking up a few local organic supplies inside the main building. The Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary and Borderland State Park, each huge reserves of land on opposite sides of Sharon, keep the town quietly nestled away from nearby Rt 95 and the busier parts of neighboring towns: Stoughton, Canton, Easton, Mansfield, Foxboro and Walpole. Despite the quiet life, living in Sharon allows you to be less than 20 min from: IKEA, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Big Y, Shaws, Stop and Shop, Home Depot, Apple Store, British Beer Company, TD Bank, Bank of America, Norwood Hospital, Sharon Veterinary Clinic, gas stations and fast food on Rt 1, and two major movie complexes in Dedham and Foxboro in addition to the local 8 screen movie house (aptly named Sharon 8). There's a parking lot ($4/day or monthly pass) at the Sharon commuter rail station, but a lot of residents just walk using the numerous sidewalks if they live anywhere near the center of town. 20 min later you're in downtown Boston - pretty sweet. Halfway between Boston and Providence, R.I., Sharon was established in 1673. In 2011 Sharon was voted #11 in Money Magazine's Top 100 Places to Live (in the U.S. - not just in MA)

It's not far from my office and it's WAY easier to get in and out of than the Brockton PO. I went the other day to mail a textbook I sold online. I threw the thing in a box with some padding and couldn't find an inch of packing tape at my office so I went to the PO with an unsealed packaged. I figured I could charm a postal worker into taping the thing up for me and saving me the $3 or so it would cost to buy a roll of packing tape. Success! Me: (batting eye lashes and trying to appear as needy as possible) "do you have any tape to seal my package?" Friendly postman: "I suppose I can do that for you". Awesome. They were selling the stuff in there so I thought he might say "turn around and buy a roll" to which I was going to play dumb as though I didn't walk right past it. Moving right along but backing up, this post office is the size of shoe box... which is what makes it great because it's a small town PO but there were 2 patrons in there, myself and one other person. There was another postal worker behind the desk just milling about while I waited for a good 5 mins or so... we even made eye contact several times. Ordinarily I would have though "oh well" but I was on my lunch break and the clock was ticking. It'll still be my go-to PO because when all is said and done, it is still much faster than Brockton but come on, not everyone is on small-town time!

There's 2 ladies at the store one of them is very nice and helpful the other I won't get into is just so sad they will hire someone with this kind of attitude to do customer service. After 4 months and no check I called ups directly and my check magically showed up, to my surprise is was for half of what I insured the speakers for. Here's what I think happened I ship all the time, i do understand things happen, ups pays within 3 to 5 weeks. I have a very bad feeling that this store never insured my speakers and they kept the money, the reason why I came to this conclusion is because I was told my claim was not approved. How can a claim not be approved if they packed them they shipped them? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or hopefully the owner reads this and retrains their staff. I'm not a person to wish a business bad, but so many bad reviews, customer be aware.
