I am concerned about our checks going missing after they are picked up. Someone stole a batch of our checks (all 37 of them) after the mail lady picked them up form our office. The larger $ value checks were tampered and they changed the payee. Luckily we have positive pay and they were rejected. We also had check cashing places calling to validate checks that had also been tampered. How does this happen when they are picked up directly by a USPS employee. Not the firts time this happens. read more

Don't waste your time with this Post Office. Supervisor is lazy our company has this routine mailman and he is so dam lazy always complaining picking up our packages weather it's too many or too little and on top of it all we always helped him carry everything out to his truck in USPS bags. We pay for our labels Priority to have them ship its their job to pick up the mails & packages. We have our duty to fulfill to our customers to have the package delivered on time. If I could give this place zero stars-I would. I have never written a negative review before-however,this one is completely necessary. THIS IS THE WORST POST OFFICE/STAFF/CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!!!! I had a dress over nighted to me (it was a bridesmaids dress for a wedding I was in the following weekend). The company I bought the dress from shipped it on time and it was delivered to this post office the next day. When I tracked the package it said "out for delivery". Package was never delivered that day-or the next-or the next. The tracking status NEVER changed or was updated. I went to the post office location multiple times and called non stop. They couldn't tell me where the hell my package was and they were completely awful, uncaring, worthless and did NOTHING to help me. Wouldn't call me back and had no idea how to do their jobs. They couldn't answer my questions or help me find my package in any way. I am on my way to the wedding with no bridesmaids dress. I like this hidden USPS location A LOT. It's completely hidden off of Fruitland Ave, there's always parking in the lot (even on the street), lines are pretty short, and it's open 8:30AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday, whereas many locations close at 5:00PM, so this gives me that extra cushion to get some stuff mailed out after work or school. The staff could be friendlier but I'm there to conduct business and I certainly get it done efficiently at this location due to all the other pluses. If you're creating a last minute shipment and your local USPS is closed, come by, it's open. read more

Currently there are a few women that work the front and each one of them are very pleasant and helpful. The manager is very nice too. Been having issues with mail being on time though lately... The only good thing about this location is the fact that nobody is ever inside, so there are no lines. However, the ONLY woman who I've ever seen working there, Linda, is the grumpiest, shittiest, rudest, most negative person Ive ever come across. Seriously, shes awful. I have no idea how someone like that can keep the same job for so long, and Ive been coming here for 5+ years. Mad my tax dollars are going to her salary (lol). read more

This is a somewhat nondescript post office in Vernon. If you go during nonpeak hours it's a snap. I've gone here twice between 9:30-11:30 and I've been in and out. It's not a pretty location, but I've found it to be efficient and friendly. read more

How can I start? This place doesn't deserve one star, and it should be consider the worst Postal office in southern California. I work in the city of Vernon and we have the shittiest service ever. Let me start with our mailman who has no integrity what's so ever. Every time we have a delivery and the package is bigger than a shoe box the mailman scans the package deliver and then he leaves a note stating you need to pick up the package at the office "Really??". I made formal complaint regarding the mailman actions and to this date nothing has changed. Now I'm pissed off going to the retarded office and deal with this old fat lady with glasses at the front who doesn't have any experience how to treat a customer right . I own a business in Vernon and only wish that I can move to a different location so I don't have to deal with this post office. I had gone several days of not getting any mails where I now have to resort to calling them in the morning to hold the mail for me to pick up. Even at that, they find ways to foul it up. As with running any business, mail is one of the vital tool we must have and due to their lack of prompt service, we missed on some of important projects since the samples were not delivered. Rarely we get mail on Monday's as the mailman states that he is too busy to finish the route... OMG Really??? Either they need to get a new manager or a faster mail man. I need my damn mail delivered during business hours!!!!! Have filed multiple complaints with the US Post Master and now looking into filing a law suit as it has greatly affected my business. If you work in the area, this branch is super convenient to hit on a lunch break. There's 4-5 windows for service with bullet proof glass, but only one was open with a very nice lady working it. Traffic is also minimal. I've only seen 3 other customers max aside from myself in my few visits here. It's very old, with a plaque on the wall from 1962 that states John F. Kennedy was president at the time this place opened. read more

My all time favorite USPS Post Office. It's a hidden gem! This spot is located in an industrial area in Vernon on Fruitland Ave and is usually pretty empty. I live about 10 minutes away and I don't know why it has taken me so long to discover this place. If you live nearby, this post office is a dream come true. The post office in Maywood is usually crowded with people which is the complete opposite of the Vernon location. I've been here about 6 or 7 times already and never once had to wait in line. I love that all the supplies are fully stocked and I never have a hard time find a spot to sort my packages. I noticed a few yelpers mentioned that the workers are rude but I have never had that problem. However, I've never exchanged much conversation with them. I ship out many packages a week but I usually buy most of my labels online. Another perk is that they have their own parking lot, huge plus. read more
