I often go to this post office location to send mail, I've used the self service kiosk, used the counter, it's funny to me how there will be a huge line and no one using the kiosk and in and out in a matter of seconds to send a couple pieces of mail. Every time I've come here I've had a good experience with the employees, they're always very helpful and knowledgeable. I usually end up talking to Terry, she's very friendly and has always answered my questions with great clarity. I believe the USPS is an amazing service and my hobby is penpalling so I completely rely on it so I hope that me coming in here to bombard their mail bags is okay with them. Decent post office. Nice and big with a drive thru blue box for quick mailing. The parking lot is large as well; rarely have issues finding a spot. Staff is hit or miss. I came in to grab my mailbox keys . This location is big and was well staffed . The staff helped me understand which mailbox was ours as they had no names ,and also that the mailbox keys are generally the owners responsibility however my leasing company is extremely ridiculous and wouldn't pay for it . Beware of Global Express Guaranteed service: I shipped a package using the Global Express Guaranteed service which offers a money back guarantee if the item is not delivered on time. As it turns out, my grandma's birthday gift did not arrive on time and I began the claims proceedings only to find out that the guarantee did not apply to countries in Europe. This was NOT made known to me before I purchased the service. This was also not pointed out to me after the purchase but during the review of my receipt, I did find a disclaimer at the very BOTTOM of the receipt. Every time I ship a book order and ask for media mail rates, one of the clerks shakes the package and asks if it's really a book. I have told her several times that she is free to open it and check and she immediately gets defensive. Let me start with saying that although understaffed and maybe sometimes packages get misplaced or even damaged! it's hardly the men and women that make up the staff at this location! I bring packages in every day almost and I assure you that these people are friendly, and work diligently to not just accommodate everyone but to also offer options to save money!! To me they are amazing and definitely not responsible for how many employees are working there or how your package gets delivered. But I promise you this every one of them that I know will gladly help you if your package was damaged or you have an issue. what happened to communication when you have an issue? sometimes these reviews can hurt business or someone putting food on the table for a family! let's try resolution versus keyboard attacks on people, heck you might find out people actually do care and wanna help you as a customer! shouldn't a 1 or 2 star rating be in person addressed before replying to steps that have lasting impacts on people? just saying! So, I've been here a couple times now and both have been pretty negative. The service is extremely slow. It always seems like there are employees around but only one person working the counter. This last time I went, a woman needed help spelling things on a form she was filling out and approached me for help. I stood in line while helping her spell. Two customers decided that they would cut me in line since I appeared busy and maybe they thought I was still putting together my package or something. Then, just when I reach the front of the line after standing for a significant amount of time longer than I would have otherwise, the woman who I helped was told to step back into the front of then line. So, of course she steps right in front of me, even though helping her was the reason I was still waiting in line in the first place. Let me tell you, this was truly an effort in patience and gracious behavior. Anyways, it's a convenient location, but I truly dread going here. It's just SO slow. read more

I've have hundreds of dollars worth of product go missing. With each call to the office, with each in person visit, I never get a response or a call back. We moved to Vancouver in 2019. Since then we have had nothing but issue after issue with our mail. 98661 will not deliver our mail. We go to the location to speak with them and they wouldn't even allow me to finish explaining the situation before talking over us. They are intentionally withholding our mail. We haven't received mail in over a week. My license tabs renewed through the mail never arrived because they refuse to deliver our mail. I had to go to the DMV since the US post office refuses to deliver our mail. They said they mailed them over 2 weeks ago. The DMV is in the same zip code. DMV said they US postal service didn't even return the tabs. They are tossing our mail, keeping, or whatever. They refuse to deliver our mail. They are refusing to deliver to us and won't give us a specific reason. We have our name all over our mailbox. Every time we complain about delivery they give us the run around. Make us fill out a form for the 4th time today. They are withholding our mail, and aren't even returning it to sender!! They are tossing it or something!! Today some male employee came out trying to egg my partner to fighting him!! In the post office!! Seriously, this is the most horrible mail location in the USA. You know when you feel slightly dirty after walking into a place? If I can use another post office to do my business, I will do so. Had to go in and submit a passport renewal app. Was expecting a separate office area where the passports are taken care of but they stand in line with regular postal customers. When I got to the counter, I told the gal I was dropping off my passport renewal. She gave me the look of "And.....?". All the post office does is put your documents in a priority envelope and ships it off. The transaction took less than 5 minutes because I filled out my app online and had my check ready to go. I haven't been to the post office in Battle Ground but when I take my wife to get her passport done, we will call ahead to make the appointment. Battle Ground does passports until 1500 daily but this location only does them until 1400. read more

I never got a package which the shipper said was delivered. My mail had been on hold. But what really was poor was that the girl that helped me, Michelle, asked if I could get the tracking number. I did and came back a few minutes later and waited in the line for hold mail where Michelle had helped me. TJ, who had previously handing that line was in the lobby working. Michelle called the next person in the regular line despite knowing I had just been there about the missing package. So, I moved to the regular line. Just then a new customer walks in the door and TJ asks if he can help him. WTF?!? Then TJ gets snippy at me for calling them out on jumping around on who they decide to help. I called the post office after accidentally putting the incorrect zip code on a package being delivered to me. It Was undeliverable and the PO had deemed it to be thrown out. I called explaining the situation. How I screwed up and put wrong zip. I was told basically nothing they could do. She did take down my info to give to her supervisor.
