Yes there's only two counters but the employees are astoundingly helpful. Today I watched one staff person go in back to dig up some empty small cardboard (nonpriority mail) boxes for a customer who came in with loose items to ship. Everyone involved acted as if this were perfectly normal. My jaw was the only one on the floor. The staff in other cities don't even talk to you unless your package is taped up and ready to go. I bet they'll even add extra tape to your package here without yelling at you. Thank you, amazing post office employees!

Pretty small service counter that can see its two stations get backed up fast when crowded. I saw a really nice example of tactful customer service today. I stopped in around 10 AM to mail some of the newsletters I edit and stamp some outgoing mail. I overheard a transaction between one of the clerks and a customer whose credit card wasn't being accepted by the machine. Instead of routinely dismissing the guy with a curt "You're card's been rejected" (we've all seen that before, haven't we?) he very tactfully said something like "hmmm our computer isn't reading your card, it says there is some sort of error, you'd better check with your bank and make sure everything is OK, I'd hate to see you in the supermarket and have a problem if you're waiting to buy food for your family". I just thought he was very humane and considerate and handled an embarrassing situation in a stellar manner. Nice job !

The workers…read morethere except one (the girl with the grey hair and bangs- she's nice) are horrible, miserable people who hate their jobs and it shows. One nasty worker who looks about 65 but thinks she looks about 18 (and acts like it) by trying to pull off blue hair is a nasty, nasty person. There was a line full of customers and I had only ONE package that was prepaid. She asks if anyone has anything quick. So I reply yes, this is paid just needs the QR scanned to which she replied, "that's not that quick"- bs. Then she purposely takes a guy to buy stamps before me which is more of a transaction than scanning a code as if to teach me a lesson. Then she gets wise with her mouth and tries notice I said "tries" to tell me off in front of the other patrons. Calling me rude. I don't think so. The customer is always right. Do your job and shut your mouth. Prob won't go back but hopefully next time I do she's been fired!!

BUT one of the letter carriers was putting mail into my condo association's mailboxes and talking to one of the owners. She had her mask under her chin, was standing just a couple of feet from the other person and was laughing and chatting. I know masks are not comfortable, but this kind of behavior is irresponsible and dangerous to anyone she subsequently comes in contact with. And vice versa.
