This was hands down the most unprofessional and combative customer service experience I have ever encountered. I visited this location to ship high value luxury designer items (valued at $3,000+) and was met with inexplicable hostility from an employee named Valerie. I paid a total of $108.93, which included a $20.95 packaging fee. Despite paying for this service, Valerie flatly refused to package or seal the box while I was present. She insisted that she would only tape and seal the package after I left the store. When I asked to simply package the item myself to ensure its security, she refused to let me touch the tape, citing "liability and stating I would cut my fingers and start to bleed and further refused to even sell me a roll of tape or an empty box so I could handle the packaging process myself instead. Leaving a $3,000 unsealed package in the hands of someone so openly rude and dismissive was not an option for me so I requested and received a full refund and took my business elsewhere. The most shocking part: I went to a different UPS location immediately after. Not only was the staff there significantly kinder and ten times more professional, but the total cost to ship the exact same 5.5lb box was only $66.19 not $108.93. Valerie's behavior was combative and she seemingly attempted to overcharge me by over $40. This location is a poor representation of the UPS brand. Save your time, your money, and your sanity go elsewhere. Why did she want my Louis Vuitton items to stay in the UPS store unboxed after I paid over $100 for shipping? Were these 2 items going to magically disappear in transit? This will be escalated to corporate as well because the customer service I experienced is quite alarming. read more

Every time I go the UPS in Canton to return something, it's ALWAYS some kind of issue. The employee Hailey seemed very grumpy and told me that I need a second QR code for the two packages to return to Amazon. Amazon told the QR code was for both packages. Hailey said I would have to tape them both together and said I would have to buy tape. Asked if they had tape laying around, and she bluntly said no with an attitude. She made me contact Amazon to get another QR code. I tried to politely tell her that she could be a lot nicer to customers and thats when Bret (Manager) stepped in and started to give me his attitude. He states that every time I go in there, I seemed to have an attitude and told me not to take it out on them because I had a bad day. The gull of him saying that!!! He cuts me off, after trying to explain the situation with my experience there every time, and tells me to have a nice day. That I don't get to talk to his employees that way. Hands me a business card and said you can called the number on the card and brushes me off. Crappy service. I'm surprised the owner hasn't addressed this and that they are still in business. Unprofessional with LOW IQ and High attitude issues. Not one customer should experience this. And from the reviews I've read, it seems like a lot were displeased with the service from Management to staffs. They need to go!!! I've been here a handful of times to drop off Amazon returns. The transactions were always smooth; they scan the box/label and you get a receipt. The place looked clean and organized. The customer service was cordial and professional. There were plenty of parking and it's located in the Canton Village plaza. The UPS is your typical looking UPS store; it has all the supplies you would need to ship/pack items out. There were printing services and office supplies for purchase as well. You can have color pages printed for 25 cents and no minimum. Other services include: Notary Shredding Passport photos Faxing and scanning Mailboxes Blueprint printing This is my go to UPS store and I will continue to use them. read more

Chose this location because I had other stops in the area. I had an Amazon return of two boxes using a QR code. I was told that because it was two boxes, I needed two codes. The solution offered was that "for a fee" they could tape my two boxes together. I agreed and was told it would be $5. I pulled out a $20 and was told they didn't have change. It's close to 3 pm on a Monday and you don't have $15 in the till? I dug through my wallet and found a $10 but was told they still didn't have change! So for $1 worth of tape, I had to put a $5 charge on my Credit Card. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I have used this store countless times and the staff has always been great. Tonight the owner was there, I have never been disrespected by any business or employee anywhere. Let alone by the owner. He's a disgrace to small business owners. It all started when I jokingly said something about one of the employees not having a mask on. Then the owner wouldn't ship my package as I was going to send it ans said I had to have them package it. I have send MANY packages packaged exactly how this one was going to be. But the owner said never again. And then continued in. Yelling out the door at me as I was getting into the car. He also said he owns all the local UPS stores. Which was good to know. I was wondering why I haven't received my refund yet but luckily I have the tracking number and it says it never left the shipping facility. I will not be going back to this place again. Listen I get it, the price of tape adds up. But don't try to charge me $2 to return a box to amazon because I didn't put a piece of tape on it. Instead let me know next time to close and tape my boxes ahead of time, but as a courtesy you'll ship my box and tape it for me this time. I spoke with 2 workers about my $450 asian planter that I would pay extra to have it not broken. I paid for double box. No double box - it broke -District Manager Fink was supposed to call - it's been 10 days! He packed it!. I sent him 3 emails - still no word. At the store they said, "Oh, gees, sorry. He will call you. We're really busy right now, so..." All I have to say is I hope they fire Fink, and train the workers to have a little more respect for my $450 planter, which I unfortunately only got $100 coverage on. Fink still hasn't completed the paperwork yet either. Wow, get those people some help if they are overwhelmed. Oh, and the amount of bubble wrap was pitiful. Pics from buyer! I've used the UPS Store #2391 twice to pickup, pack & ship several antiques I had purchased from Litchfield Auctions. Both times I've received exceptional services. Items were packaged quite well & everything arrived safely. Additionally, John showed me a great deal of patience & kindness several times when explaining insurance costs on shipments. I purchased guaranteed 3 day shipping prior to Christmas. I paid $60 to ship a gift to my son. The package delivered a day late. I went to the Canton store with my receipt and requested a refund. The employee took my information and I requested some kind of paperwork verifying I had requested the refund within the 3 week time frame. He told me there was nothing he could give me and UPS would send me a check if it was approved. It's been over a month and a half and I've heard nothing. It really sounds like a scam. There is no reason my money should not have been refunded. It's pretty convenient that there is no receipt he could give me to verify I'd been there. They know the package delivered late. read more

This is one of the worst UPS Stores I've ever worked with. They "packed" and my items, I paid for additional insurance, and they shipped them. They arrived broken and it has been over FOUR MONTHS of bs and the run-around from they guys that "work" here. They lie, never return calls, filed a claim with UPS that UPS corporate said they paid and issued check to this store, and the store management continues to not pay, lie about what's going on, and the next step is small claims court. Even though Anthony was just getting ready to lock up the store and go home, he reopened the store just to take my packages! After seeking assistance in printing a label, I was impatiently told the UPS store is not a library and told to seek help elsewhere. I did! I went to Pacmail, where they were more than happy to help me and we got the packages shipped. I will never go to the UPS in Canton again. read more

I have had to return two Amazon purchases at the UPS Store in Canton recently and both times they were extremely rude to me. I told him that I had a return code for him is that what he needed? He said "For what"? I said I don't understand. I thought the code gave them everything they needed. He just looked at me. Couldn't he have said"Where are you returning you packages to Ma'am?" I usually haven't had any problems with this location. However last time I went in to drop a package off, both employees were rather rude and inconsiderate. One employee sat by the open door (which is semi-understandable as it was a warmer day) however the other employee was exceptionally rude and inconsiderate. As I was giving him an email for my receipt, he began taking a drag from his vaporizer and promptly exhaling the smoke into the store. I really wanted to say something to this guy, however I was so confused that someone thought it was ok to do this in front of a customer that I didn't know what to say. I wish I could give this place no stars, that really needs to be an option. I will never use this store again, and I do not think I will ever ship UPS again at all via any location. In the unfortunate event you need to make a claim with you UPS, you will not find it easy. It is a fight the whole way from filling out the online form, to finding your claim dashboard on the website, tracking the progress, not being able to get anyone on the phone to help you, to not getting the same information about what you need to do each time you call. This location in particular will tell you there is not a manager or supervisor there each and every time you call no matter the time or day for an entire week. They will not help at all, will not return calls, and will stop picking up phone calls from my number. I talked to ups on the phone three times about this claim and each time they inform me of something that they should have told me to do the first time and did not, they claim to have contacted both the receiver and me, but have not. I am so unhappy. I am now making payments on an item over 1,000$ worth that they stole out of my package. receiver lived in an apt building and video shows no tampering on that end. we told the ups store employees here on this end what was in the package when they asked, because we were insuring the package and shipping overnight. the item was stolen in UPS hands out of the box. it was very clear the box was opened and resealed from the bottom. Please do not use this location, or ups. I am so disappointed that a relatively small town local store like this has such poor customer care, and greater UPS call centers are not helping much more either. This has been a terrible experience and I will use fedex or usps from now on, as I find their processes and customer service much better. I am not sure if I will ever be reimbursed, or if I will have to get the police involved. But if UPS is hoping I stop calling and give up, they are very wrong. I find it so terrible they are not more concerned their employees are stealing from packages and are not concerned with helping people fix these issues. I had previously written a highly complimentary review of this store. However, since that time it seems to have had a changing of the guard. Now I don't know any of the staff. Recently, I took a brochure down for them to scan and send to my email address. If you can get this, it was an 8 by 11 piece of paper with material on the front and back each divided into two sections. So I asked them to scan the front and back. When I returned to my home, I found that the sales clerk had only scanned the first and second sections of my brochure leaving two sections unscanned, not the entire front and back of each page as I wished. Ok, fine, we all make mistakes. So I returned to the store and explained the problem and they redid it for me no charge. I'm fine with that. So I went home and then I found out that the sales clerk had scanned the brochure into pdf which is of absolutely no use to me. In order to use the scans I had to have an image friendly program which I could edit. PDF format will not download into the programs I need to use. So I return to the store and explain the problem, i.e. that I have to have the brochure scanned into JPG. So time goes by, and more time goes by, and more. Finally, I'm like, what is the problem. Well, it turns out that the copier, so the clerk tells me, doesn't copy JPG. It only copies PDF. So this clerk is busily at the computer trying to convert the PDF document to a JPG document. Now I highly doubt that the copier only does PDF, but the clerk and his boss insisted this is the case. My guess is that if they believe what they said to be the truth, they probably don't know how their own copier works. But who knows. Whatever, so the sales clerk does the job and then tries to charge me. I'm like, are you kidding? You should have gotten this right in the first place. He's like, "That's my time." I'm like, "Are you seriously arguing with me over $2.00." So we have a conversation where I am like not very happy, and I will say that I did not raise my voice although I expressed my dissatisfaction. Primarily I said, if your copier was unable to do any program other than PDF, you should have told me and I could have gone elsewhere. Now you have made me wait all this time and you want to charge me?" Needless to say, the sales clerk and his associate were completely rude and disrespectful about this. So again I went home and when I tried to open the documents which were supposedly converted from PDF to JPG, I couldn't open them; all I got were error messages. So I returned back to the store and said, so you were trying to charge me for a service that you were unable to provide me. That's pretty low. the sales clerk, who I believe to have been the boss, was like "too bad for you." "that's your problem." "Fine, just leave." And disrespectful comments like that. I will say I got the distinct impression that they just had no respect for me as a woman--the cocky F**k you response was really amazing. Needless to say, I will never, ever go back to that store and I feel sorry for anyone who has to do business there. I later spoke to a friend I met about my experience and she told me they have been treating lots of people like this. Sad. read more
