Time to update and state that, five years later, this company remains as good as it gets. First and foremost, they don't bullsh*t. When you call/message/text/stop by, they're going to be realistic about what they can and cannot create, and you'll get a realistic ETA. Second, the product always shines. I've ordered everything from banners and signage to printed materials and stickers, it's all very, very Good. And third, this is my favorite aspect of the biz: they're amazing community partners. Over the years, they've provided plenty of materials and support to local businesses, most evidenced by so many restaurants that proudly posted their un-gender-specific bathroom signage that, honestly, couldn't be better stated. We have no baby. I called to tell the company about it and the lady that answers the phone insists that it is other people littering. She tells me people have been littering in these remote neighborhoods and the police have been notified. This is not litter. It is a pile of other people's garbage dumped out of the truck. Took me 45 minutes to clean our portion of the street, but it is scattered all the way down the road, When I tried to tell this woman, it was not "litter", she wanted to talk over me and when I asked her to simply listen, she hangs up on me. HANGS UP ON ME. Who does that in customer service? Unfortunately, they are the only disposal company but their 1.9 out of five stars is an earned rating and entirely accurate. When you compete with no one, you can be unprofessional and hang up on people who have concerns.

We had a repair person here, God forbid on trash day. I didn't know they parked near the trash bin. So they didn't pick up. There was about 6 feet clearance. Unbending and uncompromising as usual, refused to pick up. They get out of the truck anyways and retrieve it from the same spot. Not this time. Then acted nasty when we called, too. Making excuses and acting all offended. They are now setting our trash bins in front of a neighbor's property, almost in their driveway. I have to walk about 40 feet to retrieve it from the usual spot it's been for well over a decade. Not sure wth that's all about. They insist, with a big fat sticker on top of the bin, that we have it placed in exactly the correct position. And we do. Yet they throw ours down or put it somewhere far from the house. It's becoming really quite ridiculous. And judging by the other comments, they clearly do not care for their customers. Driving way too fast down dirt roads and just throwing the containers in the general direction of the house. They also take money under the table to pick up extra stuff that the company probably doesn't even know about. Oh, the irony of this being a garbage business...

I left without renting a unit due to the storage unit employee being rude. I went to fill out the…read morepaperwork and saw a pen laying on the desk in the middle of the surface. I reached for the pen to use and I was informed that the bic pen belonged to the employee. The employee then made comments about me picking up his pen. He also made statements saying that if I had a problem following the rules, I could rent elsewhere. I never said I was not willing to follow the storage rules. The only comment I made concerning rules was that I was storing a new vehicle with fewer than 50k miles on it and that I did not think it would leak any fluids but that I would find something to put underneath it. (the rule that was quoted to me 3 times was to have something underneath the storage vehicle). The other thing he did was to tell me two times that all the units were spaced the same. This was in reference to me asking him to show me where the available unit was located. I do not think he wanted to leave his office to show me the unit when I asked. The rental office was open 9-5 but he keeps the gate in front of his office closed. You must call him to make him open the gate so you can come into the office. I had to call twice before the gate was opened. The sign says that you must wear a mask to enter the office. I was also told that information by the employee. I feel like this employee did not want to rent a unit to me. No big deal, I rented a unit elsewhere. In the other self storage business, their employee was friendly and helpful. I will not be back to A-1 storage and I will share my experience with many.
