Usually has a short line, so I always make my rare visits to the post office at this location near my workplace.

Vacation hold service | rude staff…read more I come here often to mail packages. I've placed a hold on my mail delivery many times, but this last service was frustrating. First, they started holding my mail two days before the selected date. I needed my packages to be delivered before I left on my vacation, so that was not helpful. Why even ask the start date if they decide the date of service for you?!?!? Second, I opted to pick up my mail when I'm back. I came back from vacation a day late. I tried to pick up my mail the next day and am told the mail person is delivering it for me. Again, why select online that I'll pick it up myself when they're making the decision for me?!?! In the past, I've interacted with the staff. One older lady who has worked there a long time said, "your package needed a signature and wasn't delivered because of your door sign. You haven't removed that?" My sign says not to knock or ring the door bell, please. There is a reason for it and it's because I have a sleeping baby. Yes, lady, I will keep that sign up and it's none of your business!!

I made an appointment to get a passport and waited weeks for the time to come. I read all the…read moredirections carefully and had all my paperwork ready. They made me stand there and wait for the exact time of the appointment, even though they weren't doing anything else. The passport appointment started out OK, until they revealed something shocking that they hadn't advised me about in any of the instructions: The only payment they can take is cash or money order. This is a crazy requirement considering the high cost of a passport, and no one carries that kind of cash with them nowadays. I made a mad dash to some banks and my home and somehow managed to scrape together the cash. But when I returned to the post office, I was informed that the passport person had simply run off without saying a word to me, and now there was no one there who could help me, plus it would take weeks for me to get another appointment. This office robbed me of hours of my time and accomplished nothing. I drove 15 miles to find a Post Office with people who actually knew what they were doing, and they were able to get the whole thing sorted out even without an appointment. As a final bonus middle finger, I have no idea if I owe them money for the pictures they took, since they bailed in the middle of the process. I called them to ask, and their phone just rang and rang. No answer and no voicemail.

What can I say... it's a post office. So I can't really give them five stars because everybody…read morehates going to the post office. It's right up there with going to the DMV or for some people, even the dentist. However, I don't think it's fair to give this location a one or two star rating simply because going to the post office is generally a pretty miserable experience for everyone no matter which way you slice it. That being said, as far as post offices go, I feel like this is one of the better locations. I've never had a bad experience that related to any of the people who work here. If anything, it's only been because of having to wait for a while due to there being more people needing assistance than there were employees available to help. But that's just the nature of the beast. So if you have to stop by a USPS location anytime soon, I just want to say a) I'm sorry for your loss, and b) go here instead. It will make the pain a little more bearable, I promise. PS - A special shout out to Dawn at the front counter who helped me with shipping my packages today and made the entire process quick and painless. Thanks, Dawn! :)

All I had to do was mail some important documents to DOJ for the state for my job and a gift for my bestie in CO. The staff is extremely friendly here, versus the downtown Beaverton location, and I have never waited long. Service is on point. And hey it's cheaper than ups and FedEx. I ALWAYS get tracking!!!

I…read moreselected a Priority Mail envelope and politely asked the associate if it was the correct option to use with my prepaid label. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed was both unprofessional and upsetting. The associate responded in a condescending tone, asking, "Do you know how to read?" and repeatedly quizzed me on the labels in a way that felt demeaning. While I understand that I had selected the wrong envelope for a ground shipping label, the way this was communicated was inappropriate. When I asked what I should use instead, I was told I could purchase an envelope and tape and that I should "come back more prepared," with a suggestion that I use materials from home or at my workplace. At the time, I was the only customer in the store, so there didn't appear to be any external pressure or reason for the dismissive behavior. I don't mind paying for necessary supplies, but I do expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. This experience left me feeling very uncomfortable, and I was genuinely upset by the interaction. Due to this experience, I will be avoiding this location in the future. I hope management addresses this, as customer service should reflect professionalism and respect at all times.

There was only one person working so it took about 30 minutes for me to get to the front of the line. I overheard the worker saying they are understaffed. Customer service was not great. The worker was rude, impatient, and seemingly burnt out when I got to the counter and needed to ship off a box. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location.
