I have had four interactions with the same two employees at this location in the last seven months. One person, a bald gentleman is normally nice. Today, he seemed frazzled and that's probably my fault as I came somewhat un-prepared. Only, everything would have been perfectly find had they JUST had large sized Priority mailing boxes (each time I've been here, the shelf for that size is empty).
Anyways, he wound up taking other people and I went to "Debbie's" line when I finally got my items together in their boxes (one small Priority box and one large box from their room off to the side). This Debbie woman is ALWAYS RUDE! I absolutely hate going to her line and have somehow gotten her three out of the four times I've come in. Today, the bleach blond woman (in case you get her, now you know what she looks like and can prepare yourself for her attitude problem) was snotty and overcharged me. I'm not sure how she did it or why--I made it clear that I was having trouble packing things and didn't know how much the boxes were, etc., but I was friendly about it and apologetic. This woman... ugh!
Anyways, she was a complete bitch throughout my transaction and then handed me my receipt and said with a giant fake, "HAVE a GREAT day!" Yeah, right. My bill for the two boxes was $52 and some change! Are you KIDDING ME?! The gifts inside the boxes didn't even total that much combined! So stupid.
I looked at the receipt later and saw that she charged me for a 14.07lb box when I remember seeing the screen flash that it was 5 pounds and then magically the price was $52. Not only that, but the items inside the box that I'd packed did NOT weigh that much. Ugh. I'm glad to be leaving San Angelo and when I hear they are closing yet another USPS office, I HOPE this is the one they choose. read more
