We were getting the run around trying to schedule a tattoo appointment with another studio (who…read moreshall remain nameless) during our girl's trip to San Angelo this past weekend. We called Jelly's and the told us to come in as walk-ins the next day since we had smaller pieces we wanted to get inked. We were lucky enough to get to meet Jelly and Ember. They showed us around their unique, morbidly awesome studio and told us the history of the house. We got to pet the kitties that Jelly is fostering out back as we waited for the templates to get mocked up inside. It was like hanging out at a friend's house. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable immediately. They listened to our wants when it came to the art and let us change the placement of the template multiple times until we were perfectly satisfied. They included us in conversation rather than talking over us with each other like other studios. I got to hear both their life stories-incredible. We were tattooed by Ember, who although she looked young, was cool enough to have The Mask playing when we came in. ("Cuban Pete" is still a banger.) I don't know if it was the movie playing or our friendly conversation, but 5 small tattoos were completed before we even realized it with minimal pain. (and her line work is great!) She completed a tattoo I had created for my father. I cried when I saw the finished product and she asked if she was allowed to give me a hug and thanked me for trusting her with such an important little piece. I simply loved this little chick and her vibe. Jelly knows her shit. She can tell you everything you need to know about pre-care. after-care, what happens if you're breastfeeding or pregnant and the dangers of what can occur. She's blunt but kind. I've been getting tattoos for years and she was the most educated artists I've met. My best friend and I traveled 6 hours each to meet in San Angelo for our girl's weekend and we've now found our favorite studio! Too bad it's so far away for both of us. I'm already trying to make plans to get back over there for new art. :) Easy to say, we left with our hearts full and our new art looking great!

I don't have to go to multiple places, I just take them all here. The same young lady is always there and is always so kind. When I do have to pay for my shipping she is always super helpful to find the best deal.

She was yelling me as soon as I got there asking for help and then acted like she couldn't help me. Then when I finally figured it out myself she then proceeded to print a label for me even though the instructions I received for my shipment stated the label did not need to be printed out only scanned and she did not handle my package with care (it was expensive & fragile) then without informing me prior , charged me for printing out the label. The office there also smelled very bad from food she was cooking in the back I suppose. Overall an awful experience and I do not recommend and will not return.

I stopped in here one day while I was downtown and ever since then, I won't go anywhere else to get my printing done. They are capable/knowledgeable and they get things done quickly and for a fair cost. The main guy up front (Steve) is nice and he always does a good job! Another fun thing - they have lots of scratch pads up front for an incredibly cheap price - perfect for to-do lists, grocery lists, or just a notepad on your desk - and they paper varies from pad to pad, but some of it is nice quality card stock! This place may be small and hidden, but it speaks volumes where customer service and quality are concerned - you should give them a try!
