Two days in a row my mail wasn't delivered at all. They skipped my home. I had an outgoing letter as well both days that was never picked up. I've called and spoke with John, hoping he will help resolve all the issues I've been having with USPS. I've had my carriers drop off mail that isn't even addressed to my address, on several occasions. Who is getting my mail?? There have been many, many times when i know that they haven't delivered my mail to me. Probably put it in someone else's mailbox. Its ironic...lately I've been having more issues with USPS and my friend just sent me the attached picture today. It is an RSVP that i sent out on April 29, 2017... it was just delivered to her today (May 31, 2018)!!!! OVER A YEAR LATER?! USPS needs to get it together. read more

I would like to thank Rick for being so awesome today. He was very helpful in helping me figure out why I haven't received any mail in over a week. I really appreciate that he went out of his way to deliver mail to me and our neighbors after realizing the mailbox had been broken. During these difficult times it's rare to see people still smiling while doing their job. Thank you. read more

The postal service as a whole sucks. This place is always short staffed, closes early on appointments like passports (closing at 1 pm when they say they're open till 3), and don't take reservations to accommodate those, like myself, who have a continually changing work schedule. It's stupid. read more

Well, it's the US Post Office so what can a bad review really do. They're there and people will get paid to do a bad job no matter what. I paid for and sent a certified letter, signature requested. I got back my return receipt with no signature. So who knows if it got to the right person. read more

Horrible service. Smells like rancid Roast beef and rat poison. They have a massive front desk yet had only one poor girl working the front while a line of 40+ people stood rotting in the dank humid air read more

First office they are discriminating and offensive. They don't accommodate to height, vision or any ADA accessibility. Second off the lady pushed on my package when it was being weighed. I watched the gentleman help is customers and he did not push on a single package when it was being weighed. The scam artist lady who has been there for years also tried to scam me into buying their tape when my package was sufficiently taped already. She should be punished for federal offenses. read more

This is the worst post office EVER! We have a business in this area and continually our delivery guy hasn't delivered our mail or packages. I regularly have to call the post master to tell him I was suppose to get something and the driver didn't deliver it and he's had to come back and actually do his job. I called them yesterday when an insurance check was delivered, in fact we hadn't received a single piece of mail all week, not even junk mail. So long behold the driver pulled up just now to our shop only and threw our mail in the slot and took off. He didn't deliver mail to any other business. I wish this post office would fire this driver as he clearly isn't efficient in doing his job. We have him on our security cameras siting in his truck for 13 mins talking on his phone, not delivering any mail and then taking off. read more

ZERO Stars. Mail lady was arguing with me and calling me liar when I tried to tell her the mailbox was broken and my package was gone that was in the locker. She proceeded to scolded me because I don't get my mail every day .Really? Unbelievable... Tried calling the post office on Chicago and that was a joke. I got hung up on before saying a a word and then no answer. Time to figure out a more reliable way to receive mail. The post office is a disaster. read more

Mail carrier can never seem to get it right. My neighbors and I have to basically deliver our own mail. When we have packages delivered with tracking, it will say delivered in parcel locker, however, there is no key and you have to hope the neighbor received the package and will deliver it. We contact the post master and he shines us on all the time with excuses that people are new etc, however, he never takes any ownership, and most of the time you are lucky if they answer the phone. It's a shame that we pay taxes to receive service like this. I suppose the post master sees his role like a weather person, as long as he gets it right 50% of the time he is doing well and proud of himself. read more

I understand the post office gets busy but all 4 of the employees had no sense of urgency, just taking their time. I then get helped by a heavy set male with a shaved head and facial hair (describing so you know who to avoid, his clerk number on receipt is 17) and he asks me to fill out an address tag and bring it back. I complete it by the time he helps the next customer and I tell him I am done right before he calls the next person and he still proceeds to call them then look at me and say "oops, let me help her first" does not even fucking apologize or anything. Ive already been waiting a bit and my lunch time is ticking down and he makes me wait longer. Are you serious? Might want to get some better employees that are about customer service. read more

the self scan doesn't work and they don't have any extra pens to use. don't recommend

I've had my mail returned to sender, packages gone undelivered, packages disappearing at this point in the chain of custody (according to package trackers), mail delivery just stopping for no reason whatsoever. Hopefully, the third complaint I've sent to the USPS Inspector General about this post office will actually get it investigated. I encourage everyone who's lost so much as a postcard to this particular post office to report it. read more

So my street was closed for road work & my mail wasn't delivered. I was waiting for some very important mail so I decided to call USPS to see what I could do to pick it up after an HOUR of waiting on hold I finally get a response and the lady told me I could pick it up from my local post office that same day, so I went down there waited another 45 minutes and they told me tomorrow at 8 am I could pick it up. I went in today & waiting an hour for some RUDE lady to give me a snide comment "why would you think it would be here?!" With so much attitude.I just don't understand why they couldn't say from the get go to wait until the next day for delivery. That's all. I know it's a demanding job but damn. read more

Another government agency where the service is at snail speed. The postal service is very understaffed and needs a lot more funding to survive. I usually come to the post office to buy postage to mail packages since they have a scale to weigh packages and charge accurately rather than estimating the cost yourself. I also came here to apply for a US Passport and they wait was not too bad, but there was only one person processing the applications. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Wish I can see this at other post offices. I just wish they have more people working, since they are always understaffed. They do on the other hand offer a self service machine for postage and a drive thru mail drop off in the parking lot. If you are picking up mail or packages, there is no need to wait in line, since they usually have one person responsible for retrieving mail and packages. read more

Susie was the lady that helped me today. Shout out to Susie for nothing. She was no help.

Not sure with all the one star reviews: Note this review is for this location, and the customer service. Overall, it's ok. The people in the main lobby are nice and smile, and generally work pretty quickly for USPS. I don't blame them for when a customer doesn't have their stuff together. The mail pickup counter, just outside the service lobby... eh... A downgrade in terms of service, and the wait time is kinda tedious. This line can get long and start to interfere with the regular service line when something goes wrong. Most of the time though, it's not that bad. Just be aware of this. Over all, it's not the best USPS I've been in, and it's not the worst. Just have some patience, bring some good tunes on your iPod or phone, or try and engage in a friendly convo with the people around you. read more

Dad, your local post office on the street of the city where I grew up on just... stinks. And, because of it, I might not smell as fresh either. Thanks times 2! Lost my package. Claims it got there. Never did. Always someone there to receive packages. Riverside PO you disappoint me. Interestingly enough the package contained soap made by Outlaws. And some outlaw apparently ran away with my soap. "Sweet." read more

We usually receive our mail at around 1pm. I am waiting for a paycheck that usually delivers on Saturday, but no check was in the box on Saturday. Memorial day holiday on Monday and now it is Tuesday. 1pm- no mail 2pm- no mail 3:30pm- no mail I call the post office and someone actually picks up, i ask them about our mail carrier and they put me on hold. 20 minutes later the phone disconnects. 4pm-4:49 ringing no answer In the meantime I get in the car, drive to the post office. Still letting the phone ring on speaker, every four minutes I redial. 4:20- get in line- phone still ringing no answer 4:30- phone still ringing please wait for a supervisor 4:49- Supervisor, your route got divided today expect you mail late. Denies phone is ringing even when i show him the screen on my phone that has the number on it!!!! 6pm- post Office is closed, no mail 7pm- no mail Well I guess I didn't need to pay bills, get groceries, have my oil changed. NO! I needed to sit at home all day waiting for mail delivery that never happened. They just chose to not deliver mail to my neighborhood today. read more

It's located near lots of food places and the riverside swamp meet. During business hours it gets really busy (usually between 2-5). However they usually have someone come out to assist people in line. As with any post office, it's best if yho pay for any mailing cost ahead of time so that's it's easier to drop things off. Small area so it can get cramped really quickly. They also have a small area of p.o. boxes available as well. read more

US Post Office - Mail Delivery on Saturday 1/24 - Post Offices Near Me - Riverside, California

6 yrs later..............same problems. It will never end. The distribution center and post office location are either spoiled, overpaid old brats or crack heads. ZERO CONCERN for the residents and what amounts to mail theft when they mis-deliver or just don't deliver at all. Tired of it. And the postmaster is just as worthless. read more

I'm surprised at how low these reviews are. Every time I have been to this facility, the workers have been genuine and helpful! I have been here a few times to either pick up packages or buy nice stamps and I've never had a negative experience. ALSO, I completely screwed up and didn't put the street name for some packages of christmas presents. I noticed both packages said they were delivered to the local post office so I called to see if they could help me out. I spoke with Helena (Elena?) and she looked into it and called me back every time she got more information. She was so extremely helpful, especially because it was my fault! I am so grateful for her customer service, because it could've been easy for them to just tell me to figure it out on my own. She searched and found both of my packages! Thanks to her, there will be a few more gifts under the tree :) read more

Ok, so everyone pretty much hates the post office. That's just a fact. However, this place is actually quite pleasant, and makes going to the post office less painful. The employees are nice (which is rare at USPS), and they go through the line quickly. Despite my overall distaste for the post office, this one is the best one I've been to. read more

I don't really post negative reviews because I can understand how obnoxious/rude customers can be and try to give workers the benefit of the doubt, but one of the workers here was just plain rude. I'm new to the area, and I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day or dealt with rude customers or whatever, but I tried to drop off a package around 3. I looked on Google to see what time USPS closes (and it said 6:00am-6:45pm), only to come to USPS with the doors locked and instead of telling me they're closed, this old lady starts yelling at me (from behind the counter + behind locked doors) "Go! Just go! Go!" like, I apologize for not knowing USPS hours, but there has to be some level of professionalism. Again, trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but still, yelling at someone behind the counter + locked doors without any reason to besides coming in after closing hours is just rude. read more

The woman that was there today at noon, 4/6/2021 was so rude, I didn't realize that my return slip said first class shipping and accidentally used a priority mail parcel. She snatched my package from me and snapped at me about how I couldn't send a package like this and had an overall bad attitude. Totally threw me off, no wonder this office has horrible reviews. read more

Well let's start this review by asking, "Does anyone really LIKE going to the post office?" The lines are always awful and the USPS customer service isn't always top notch no matter where you are. This particular post office gets marked down for the following reasons. 1. The lines. No more needs to be said. 2. The homeless people harassing you, both in the drive thru line and at the doors. 3. The difficulty getting out of the parking lot. No left turns here so you have to make a u-turn at the light. The one redeeming factor is the self-service machine. As long as the person in front of you knows how to use it. Otherwise it's just as painful as waiting in the regular line. read more

The staff are friendly at this location, but whenever there is a line it moves at snails pace! Do not go there on a Saturday. I waited in line with 3 people in front of me for 20 minutes and only one window open, plenty of staff walking around but no one was willing to open a second window. The service is much better in the week. read more

The worst customer service ever! For 2 days now I've not gotten through calling. Finally when the lady answered, she didn't want to help with my simple request. What the hell? Why are people hating on this place :( Every time I come here, it's such nice friendly workers and customers who seemed to hate anything and everything... or something (constant sighing, random cussing, the "are you serious??") Even with these unpleasant customers, the workers always have a smile on their faces in hopes of making their day even a tad bit better. Yes, they work slow but that's probably cause they're old. BUT they're always nice about the services (if you have questions, etc). The place is SUPER old looking though, but I'd come back any day! I especially like the fact they close at 6 pm for students who get out of class late. The post office back at home closes at 4 or 5, and that's when I get off work :/ read more

I live at 5880 Lochmoor and my mail and packages are regularly delivered to the apartment complex across the street at 5880 Fair Isle. One of the mail pieces that got delivered to the wrong address was a credit card, which then got used by someone. I have left messages for the post master at this location and wasn't even given the courtesy of a return call. This has been happening for years. Just had a package last week that was delivered to the wrong address yet again. I understand that mistakes do happen, but this is ridiculous and the post master clearly doesn't care. I have been here 3 times this week and all times I had to line up for over an hour. It was terrible. They had 2 people on the front of which 50% they were in the back. I had a package get mis-delivered, but the postman, Rick Garcia, went out of his way to locate it for me. I told him the time it was scanned as delivered on the website tracker and he figured it out. In only a few minutes, he located my package at the other apartment complex on my street. He quickly drove back and handed me my package. He was a very nice guy and was working really hard on one of the hottest days of the year. Rick, you're the man! I've had dozens and dozens of packages delivered and this was the only error, and it got solved quickly. read more
