The postal boxes are clean.. there's a table to do your mail business and work. Trash bins. Pens. Scissors. Pamphlets and all the mailers you can shake a roll of stamps at. Double doors make this location a quick alternative to other slow poke places where the line is out the door. Another bonus is that this USPS building is at the crossroads of major thru highways and roads. That way managing things you may have forgotten to mail or need to go home to fetch and send out, is a half-way back trip only. Never had an issue. To me, this Glenford, NY post office- a few minutes outside of Woodstock, felt...cozy? I'm not sure how old this building is- but it's up there. The outside appears spacious, the inside is opposite that: It's small. Enough for 1 person. Two people can probably do- but it might feel like you're both kind of squeezing in. Other than that, this Glenford PO is unique in its own way. Service was patient- with that small town charm. And listen, for the price, our small box arrived at the destination in 2 days as promised.

I went there so much, he and I were always on a first-name basis with each other. And although he's now not there as much as he used to be, the others who are tend to be just as accurate and trustworthy as he once was. Ernie, who was the person behind the counter, always use to make jokes when I use to walk up to him for a stamp, and we just got along great together. It was rare when he ever made a mistake in the mailing system. I'm sorry I couldn't describe the factors that came into being placed in this review a little better. Maybe, as Ernie cross-trains people, the people who he trains could actually help bring that enlightened sense/spirituality to this small kiosk in the Mall once again, and therefore bring his sense of humor out to bring more people to use this booth once again. And what's best, packages that were mailed under him, never once ever got lost or delayed due to his actions, so something had gone well under his direction. He was always "on top of his game" here. Thanks Ernie and USPS crew for making my days and life a little brighter.
