I dreaded going to the UPS store for the first time but I important documents to copy and fax. I looked around and didn't know what to do first. The only staff in at the time helped me through every step. 2 more people came in and he was able to assist them both while helping me. I was so grateful that I had an awesome interaction at UPS. Unreal. The WORST trained staff of any business in America. There is not one single person there who knows how to use a computer, how to scan a shipping label, has ever heard of a UPS account number. UPS should revoke their license for shaming their reputation in such a way. Everyone from this side of the river needs to drive to Kingston to get anything done. And on top of all this the staff is RUDE, Apathetic, mean and self involved. This is a small town and it is shocking to have people behave like this to customers on every occasion. I arrived at 8am which is opening time. Someone showed up finally about 20 minutes later mad at the world. I knocked on door and was screamed at. Then, when he found out I was returning a modem to Spectrum, he refused my service and told me to go to Kingston. Do not recommend. This guy was unhinged. read more

The Rhinebeck staff has always been good . . . but GENERAL NOTE for folks considering UPS. I ship guitars a couple times a year. UPS has consistently fallen short and today was the height of it as the UPS driver dragged the parts of a formerly gorgeous Taylor guitar up the drive with seeming indifference. I have gone to the store for some Amazon returns and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. In terms of "UPS, the company . . not THIS store" I need to add a note . . . The UPS Claims Process . . . well . . . buyer beware . . . if you **THINK** you are buying insurance you are sadly mistaken. You are purchasing the right to play a "why didn't you pack it better" game with UPS. I'm done. read more

The barely hidden anger of the workers at this store handling constant Amazon product returns and nothing else has translated into irregular store hours and 'oopsie! computer down' signs. Went 3 times and the store was closed or computer down and got the message: NO AMAZON RETURNS ACCEPTED HERE! This is the 2nd UPS store that has done this in Dutchess County. Perhaps amazon should set up their own store for returns as they sell defective and/or bait and switch products. read more

We live nearby and have been there many times. We do a lot of Amazon returns too......never have I encountered an unkind attitude or word. The people who work there are knowledgeable and friendly. I'd recommend them any day! read more

I suggest that you stay far away from this UPS store. All you have to do is visit there any day after 1pm to see what a chaotic mess it is. I received notice of delivery of a box at 10:39 am, and went to retrieve at 5:30. The place was absolutely a disorganized mess and of course there was no package to be found. I came back again for the third time the next day to basically have the box tossed at me with nothing more said than "$5 pick up fee". Clearly this guy is way in over his head and all you have to do is see ALL these one star ratings to know that you should have NO confidence in shipping anything out of this location or receiving it in. I have used UPS Store several times ONLY because of their proximity to my house. Much more expensive than the similar stores in Poughkeepsie and Kingston by 15% and more, but, further to drive, of course. It matters though when you send a very heavy package. The owner smirked at me when I asked where the closest Fed Ex drop-off was.....as if he didn't know....(his underpaid worker knew right away). Come on, who is he fooling? I'd have smacked him if I was 30 years younger. Try being more accommodating to your customers, and lose the smirk. read more

If I could give them Zero stars I would for the reason that I got a tv shipped from this store to Los Angeles California the tv came and it was completely cracked mind you they packaged it at this store. Had to make several claims process took over two months for them to tell me I will not get me refunded nothing after paying 500 dollars for the tv to get shipped from this store to Los Angeles. I also paid for insurance just in case the tv got damaged. So what was the reason for me paying for that if they were not going to cover my damages. I'm now going to sue the shit out of you guys. read more

This UPS thrills me to pieces. This go above and beyond to suit their customer, and manytimes exceed the customers needs. I only had one unpleasurable experience when the employee told me I had used too much duct-tape on my package. But when I turned in another package of same amount to other location at other times, the same wasn't true. Maybe the person just had a bad day. read more
