Management at this location is completely inept. Today there was a single cashier doing both mail and passports, a line out the door, and two managers doing nothing, because they can't "handle payments" as managers?? This is precisely why people do not like government workers. I went in to simply mail a package and buy a book of stamps. It was approx 1:01p and one of the employees informed me that they were closed. I asked what time did they close she stated at 1p. So I looked at my cell and it's 1:01pm. She proceeded to say that I can use the machine to purchase and mail my package if I had a card. So, as I'm using this machine I am clearly having problems. She was still standing next to me but having leisure conversation with another customer. I asked for assistance politely and was still there holding up what is now four people in line. Once everything printed out I noticed the trap door she said to put my package in was not opening. So another customer came by to assist me, meanwhile the lady, employee, went in and closed the door. So I knocked on the door to get her attention attention and let her know the trap door for packages was not opening and her and her rude coworkers looked, shook their heads, and proceeded to turn off the lights. As if I couldn't see them. No one came to assist where they clearly could have. The people here are rude and give a bad name to postal workers everywhere! read more

Horrible experience when picking up a package delivered to an old address! Totally my fault on failing to update my shipping address from an online site I rarely use. However, when I checked the status and stated undelivered I quickly realized my mistake. I called USPS and then was connected to the post office. They were super understanding on the phone and stated that this happened all the time. They said they could hold my package and I was to pick it up. Well, I did just that two days later. There was a bit of a wait but that did not bother me as I showed up 45 mins before closing. However, once it was my turn up the elder (native/Vietnamese) female was nothing but RUDE. I provided my ID explained why I did not have a slip and that I was told my package was on hold. She questioned me so many times on why I was using someone eles' address, saying I was doing something ILLEGAL, and that I could not be doing this. I was nothing but polite trying to hold my tongue. I reiterated the fact that I mistakenly did not update my address with an online order and already spoke with someone about it being okay for me to pick up my package. In a very quiet post office with a long line waiting, she loudly kept saying I could not use someone else's address, asking why I don't have an address, that I was doing something illegal as if trying to embarrass me. It is not okay for an employee to ask and state the same false accusations over and over when I told her what happened multiple times. After finally locating my package and trying to threaten me by telling her supervisor that I was unable to do this again, I left by saying hank you and that is fine as I was not doing anything wrong and once more it was a mistake and I was NOT doing anything ILLEGAL. 10 minutes after leaving I called the P.O. and spoke with her manager, as this was the first time I had ever been treated in such a way, I felt so uneasy and compelled to bring this to their attention. The supervisor was apologetic and said she did not know why the employee was behaving this way towards me since my situation is a common issue. I mentioned that I would hate to tell her the reason I believed it was in regards to. The supervisor said that she will brig it up to the employee, which I really hope happened. She should not be allowed to have contact with customers if this is any indication of how anyone else is/can be treated. read more

Horrible. I had a package that showed delivered on 1/31. Usually my carrier takes any packages that do not fit in my mailbox to my office and I pick them up. I got a notification from the company that my package was delivered but no one at my office had it and it was not in my mailbox. I called USPS customer service and was given a case number. Later that afternoon my postal carrier called me and stated she was off that day but would look into it. Fine, after a few days I did not hear anything I called customer service again only to find out their supervisor closed the case, simply as "Carrier will call customer" there was no resolution. I had them reopen the case. Fast forward a week later my package shows up in my mailbox and I get a nasty voicemail from Dicey or whatever the supervisor names is there that "I need to check with the leasing office they have it and misplaced it" Um no they didn't. I have a number given to me by customer service and I am making a formal complaint against this location specifically the supervisor. This is not the first time she has spoke to me in a condescending way , I let it slide the other times but she is down right rude. read more

Whoever I just spoke on the phone who says she's a supervisor needs to be FIRED! I had a package that was supposed to be delivered a month ago and I get the same package delivered every month, and the postal service decided "well she doesn't live here anymore so we're going to send it back" which I ABSOLUTELY still live at this address. They. tell me a manager is going to call. Never receive a call back, and then low and behold I have my package delivered that was supposed to be delievered this month, but still haven't received my last one because they say I need to come in and sign for it! So I speak to the supervisor there who was basically like I just came back from my vacation for 6 months. I can't help you call back tomorrow. Absolutely ludicrous!!!! My vacation hold was ended last week and my hold mail was supposed to be delivered right after. I have never seen my mails as of today so I called the post office. The lady told me the mail would be delivered today. I asked for the reason why my mail was hold for extra week. She said "the regular mail man was not available. I don't know.' I directly interacted with this post office two times. The first time was to replace my mail box key which took forever. I found that the new key was sitting in my mail box which I could not open. Within one week, this local post office lost a package, and failed to deliver two packages claiming they did at 7 o'clock at night. They got angry at me when I called and said they did not leave a notice for a package to be picked up and said I must of missed it when he attempt. I had the doors and windows open and no one every pulled up at my house. They false scan items and blame me for not receiving the packages. It's not fun filling out paperwork because they are too lazy to do their jobs correct. I have seen my fair shares of bad post offices, but this one takes the cake by far. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a Post Office. The man was rude and short with me. When he offered me my shipping choices he was condescending and said "you're not listening to me". The worst post office ever, Tammy my mail carry is very rude. I was outside just waiting for her to finish and she tells me I need to leave until she is done treating me like a child. I was just waiting patiently with another lady when she started to be rude. I called her out and told her she didn't need to act like that. I live here, I pay 1300 to live here and I don't need a vendor to come on property and be disrespectful to people. Tammy then started to delay and take her time getting the rest of the packages sorted. She didn't care that I was going to complain, she must get away with whatever she wants. The Phoenix post office is extremely unorganized. Every time I am waiting for a package from an online order, the company will process and ship the order quickly, and then it will sit in Phoenix for days at a time. Most recently I have a package that was delivered from Scottsdale and I live in Tempe. The package was delivered to the Phoenix post office (zip code 80531) on June 2nd 2017 at 10:56am and the expected delivery date was the next day. It is currently June 6th at 4:30pm and my package has still not been delivered. This situation has happened to me multiple times. read more

Like the previous review...It's a Post Office. Kind of like the DMV...sometimes long lines and lots of waiting. Today was a decent visit. We arrived with some loose items that needed Priority Envelopes. We were able to fill them out, load them up, and then get in line. The line was about 7 deep and initially moved rather slowly. That was because they only had one person working the counter...she called for reinforcements and things speeded up from there. It really was not that long of a wait. Usually I go to the drive-thru drop as it does not require me to have to deal with the humane element. As far as Post Offices go, this one is pretty good. read more

I had a scheduled appointment there today Friday 7/22 at 11:00am and I was in and out with no problem. But while taking care of my business I was appalled at one of the employees at that location dealing with a customer. What really shocked me was she was the "SUPERVISOR". She was dealing with a CUSTOMER that showed up for a scheduled appointment on the wrong day. She was very loud in saying that they can not be served today because they did not have a appointment. She would walk away and come back to say the same thing over and over. I am so surprised that the people in the parking lot or even the Apartment complex arcoss the street heard her. Rude service! This was just over the phone! I called to schedule an appointment for my passport and the lady asked when I needed it and I told her in less then two months and I continued saying I would pay the expedited fee to get it faster but she would not let me finish my sentence every time I tried to talk. She talked very rudely saying that it takes two months and I tried telling her I know that already, I was just gonna pay for the expedited fee and she still continued to cut me off before I could say I would pay for the fee saying that she would not have an available spot for appointment until next month. She then suggested to go to a courthouse and I said Ok cool I did not know that. So she suggested 3 places and I picked one and when I tried to say Thank you, she hung up on me after I said "Thank." Learn some phone manners please! Don't cut off a person when they are trying to speak and don't just hang up on someone when they are not done trying to talk. First of all, I arrived early and waited so I could get serviced in a timely manner. They are supposed to open at 830, but the workers streamed in nonchalantly at 840. I was already late for work, because I knew that I couldn't come in on my lunch break. The woman who services me was an older Hispanic woman with long hair. She didn't smile once. Something was taken from my mailbox and I'm assuming it was by my mail carrier. It didn't have an address because it was dropped off by a friend. I didn't think that it would be taken! She told me that they process millions of pieces of mail everyday...which I obviously get. But if the PO isn't getting any government funding, maybe they should work a little bit harder so people would be happier and use their service more. This woman talked to me like I was an idiot, and she's lucky that I hadn't had coffee yet! I wanted to rip her a new one. Customer service is customer service! We all have jobs that we work hard at.
