Horrible customer service at this location, every time I walk in this office everyone's acting like they got something up their bum.

I have to say first and foremost that making a return from an online seller is one of my least favorite things to do, I dislike it even more when they partner with USPS as the lines are usually long, I never know if it's going to be a hassle, etc. On this Saturday in particular I first tried the Post Office location near my house (which I loathe), but it was closed. A little worried I was going to have to wait until Monday, further delaying my refund, I went online and saw that this location was open until 5pm. I decided to give it a go and down the street I drove. Walking in was nostalgic for me and I was expecting a huge line, afterall it was a weekend in November. I was shocked to find only one other person in line ahead of me and I was up at the front in less than two minutes. The gal working was the kindest postal worker I've encountered in years. She was able to scan my QR code and get my package out the door quickly. Nothing super remarkable about this experience, but it was one of the better ones I've had lately at a USPS. If my local one continues to go downhill I might make the 10 minute drive to this one in the future.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I do so if an owner or manager of a business is intentionally being…read morerude / hostile, or if the experience is horrendous and said people don't try to fix it, and don't seem to care. - I have 30 years of customer service experience: retail, restaurant, grocery, and my own business. I've worked in almost every position from dishwasher to owner/manager. I'm literally a customer service expert. - I look grungy today (hat, hoodie, jeans and sneaks), because I'm mostly working from home & just running a few quick errands. I'm guessing that I was treated the way that I was, because I didn't look important enough to matter to the employee (who might have been the manager since his name tag looked different than the first employee's), but I didn't stick around long enough to find out. - If I have an Amazon return, I'll typically go to the Kohl's or one of the UPS stores near me in Olathe (where they are super friendly and helpful). The few times I've used UPS, I've printed off my own label and attached it, as the instructions say, so I have zero experience as to what to expect if I ask them to print it off for me. Actual experience: I left my house with something I needed to return to Amazon, before I had actually done the return online. I was in South OP / Leawood area, and since the Amazon choices included UPS, it said $0, and there was one right around the corner, I chose that. I went into the UPS Store off 135th & Metcalf, and told the first employee that I had an Amazon return, and that I didn't have a copy of the return label, and asked if I could email it and they'd be able to quickly print it off for me. He said, "Sure. Send it to this address", pointed to a label, and didn't say a word about it costing $. The other employee goes to a PC and asks if it's my name, and then says, "Your print is coming out right behind you". I was surprised that it was coming out of a huge printer behind me in the store, as I don't use UPS for anything other than shipping. I put the piece of paper down on top of the box I brought in, said thank you, and started to walk away. He said, "That'll be $1..." (whatever change, I didn't hear because he said it quietly and I was already 10' away). I turned back and asked, "I'm sorry, what"? He then repeated the price, and said, "You have to pay for prints". I then started to try to have a conversation with him, but he immediately began interrupting me and talking over me. My sentences below are what I was trying to say, but each time he cut me off after only 3-4 words. - Me: "I didn't know you were going to charge to print off the Amazon label, as it says free on Amazon". - Him: "We are a printing store, we charge for prints". - Me: "I'm not doing a printing order, I just asked him if he could print the label off for me, and he said yes and didn't say anything about $". - Him: "If you don't want to pay for prints, you shouldn't come to a printing store and ask for prints". - Me: "I didn't. I'm not "here for prints", I'm returning this. I usually return at Kohls and..." - Him: "We are not Kohls, they are a retail store. We are UPS, we are a printing store". - Me: "Can you please stop interrupting me..." - Him: keeps interrupting and starts rambling on about various "printing store" things. - Me: "Can you please stop talking over me. I'm trying to have a conversation with you". - He just keeps on going and starts talking louder so I can't be heard. - Me: "never mind, this is ridiculous", and I pick up my box and started walking out. From 10' behind me, as I'm already by the door, he says, "If you don't want to pay, you can get out"! The hostility and rudeness was beyond what I've experienced in a long time. I don't know if he was having a bad day, if someone else had been rude to him so he was taking it out on me, if he's annoyed with being an Amazon return location and chose to take it out on me, or what. But, you don't ever treat people that way for no reason, especially if you are in a customer service position. I will definitely not use that location again!

Love the paint job itself and we love how the color turned out! This is our 2nd time using this…read morebusiness and we used them again out of pure faith, because the first paint job failed miserably after a few years, so he gave us a better deal on the paint for the 2nd job and for coming back to him. Where we became very disappointed (especially as repeat customers) is everything that transpired both during and towards the end of house being being painted. This is where things made a huge-drastic turn for the worse and lead to a very bad experience on our end. The owner (whom I feel probably means well) was very rude to us and ignored any emails (3 total) I sent during the job regarding concerns "we" had about spills in our yard, nails being left on the sidewalk or in the yard (one which went into my foot), foul language being spoken by his workers in front of our kids and neighbors (both whom complained to us the next day), cigarette buds being left all over our yard and landscaping, and other issues. My wife was out of town with work during the middle part of the job and since my emails/concerns were ignored and since she was his primary contact/one whom hired him....she decided that she would email and call him to check in. -However; we were both either ignored or made to feel like we were being a pain in the ass. I started to grow a little frustrated, but she tried to stay positive. Where things really got bad is where multiple sharp tools were being left in our yard and our 2 year old found one (a nail puller). This could have killed him or another child and we have kids in our yard every day. I also ran over a paint scrapper with my mower :( Finally, at the end of the job and after 3 weeks, we requested a walk through with the owner before we left town (and before the job was finished) to address any concerns we had with our yard being damaged and other concerns we had pertaining to touch up. We wanted to pay him a final cash payment and wanted to thank him, but stress concerns we had (we have a business too... so wanted to talk "owner-to-owner" with him). Instead, he couldn't meet with us in person, but wanted to send one of his crew-men to meet us before we left town for 5 days. We didn't feel comfortable paying his worker that amount of cash before the job was done or discussing issues pertaining to him or any other workers and felt it was more professional to discuss these matters with the owner in person. The fact that we wouldn't pay his worker and that he couldn't meet with us for a final walk through before we left town outraged the owner and grew very angry and demanded payment from us (before the job was even done and even though they canceled multiple times on painting our home and blaming weather when our neighbors home was still being painted on days they canceled) and sent my wife 2-3 very rude-mean-vulgar texts (which she plans on posting too with the Better Business Bureau). He also said he had the right to call her rude and OCD too since I apparently told one of his painters that she can be OCD with how things look..? We were then told that we didn't know what we were talking about when it pertained to painting (even though we own a successful design business) and made us feel like we didn't mean anything. :( We were in shock, especially since we gave him a 2nd chance after the first job looked turned out so poorly. So, after a lot of frustration....we decided to end the job before it could be finished and just wanted the nightmare to be over with! My wife was in tears for 2 days after this and it all honestly, the experience ruined our trip to CO, because that is all she thought about. In the end, we just wanted to be treated like paying customers and wanted our home to look gorgeous. Homes are a HUGE investment for anyone and we were hoping that this was the last/final time it was ever painted before we move. Again, the paint job was nice, but the experience was awful. I truly wish I could recommend these guys and have had several neighbors come and ask who painted our home, but unfortunately....we can't recommend this business.

Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but the line moves quickly and everyone I've encountered there has been very nice. I love the PO and it's still one of the greatest institutions created. I wish people working from inside the government weren't trying to destroy it from within so they can privatize everything and make more money. So yes, services and people have been cut back and prices have gone up. It's on purpose. Yesterday, I saw one of the young women there having a really difficult time with a customer. She had called for a supervisor but the guy refused to leave her window. I didn't catch the entire interaction. Even when the supervisor came out, he still refused to leave the window and she was trying to wait on me as the next customer. The supervisor finally got him to move over and I interacted with her and told her I could tell it had not been the best day. We sort of got a laugh out of it before I left her window. She was very nice to me. Interestingly enough, I could hear the conversation between this guy and supervisor beside me. He began telling the supervisor he was just trying to get his mail held so he could pick it up and she wouldn't do it. But by the time I left, I heard him say to the supervisor, "she thinks I'm trying to get my ex-wife's mail" and I realized the lady was trying to protect another customer and it sounded like a woman who may be having problems with an ex. I don't know the whole story but if that was an accurate situation, I'm glad someone at the PO cared enough to at least check into something before doing it! Support your Post Offices!
