How do they accomplish this? Well, first and foremost, they do everything you'd EXPECT from a UPS store, and they do it efficiently and well. However, the major differentiator is that every single time I've been here (now numbering 20+ visits....{thanks Amazon}), no matter who is working, I receive the BEST customer service I've ever had at a UPS store. There have been younger folks and older folks, men and women...does not matter: everyone has been outstanding. THIS is my go-to UPS store. While waiting in the line, a postal worker came by and asked anyone if they needed stamps or just wanted to drop off a pre-paid package. She helped speed up the line, and was also really friendly! She even asked the occasion for the stamps and made sure to get ones that matched the festivities (flowers for a wedding and Disney for a party). After being incredibly stressed and even experiencing heart palpitations over USPS losing it for a week in a random NY distribution plant, I found out that my package was about to arrive back in Missouri, even though its final destination was supposed to be Long Island, New York. I called Jorge in advance, and he was communicative, kind, and extremely fast given the urgency of the situation. He was incredibly professional and, with my authorization, picked up and delivered the most important document of my entire life. I cannot express just how much his services meant to me. As an international student, I studied my entire life to get into Princeton, and then even Harvard for my master's. All of those years of effort could have been jeopardized if I could not get possession of this piece of documentation. I recommend Jorge from the bottom of my heart. Please look me up, Ruxandra (Cristina) Iosif, on LinkedIn, as I personally recommend Jorge for any urgent or critical delivery, whether the job is big or small. Most other businesses in the area told me that simply picking up the package at USPS, taking a picture of it, and dropping it off at FedEx was too much to ask. With Jorge, everything was possible. I have never been to Lee's Summit, Missouri, but it seems like I had an angel there that I never knew about before this whole adventure.
