This bunch of USPS staff works hard to do their job with poise and courtesy. Never met a grouchy person here. IF there's a line they don't rush people and still seem to keep a steady quick pace. I don't know what it is about the Post Offices in Johnson County but WOW, slowest I have been to in the US and probably the most unfriendly. This one is close to my office, so it's easy to go on lunch or around lunch. I have gone anytime between 11 am and 1pm. The parking lot is terrible, I'm surprised there aren't more motor vehicles incidents there. The inside is small, gets hot and cramped quickly. There is always a long line which takes a solid 15-20 minutes to get through. Usually one to two workers, I realize they are union but come on! No wonder the USPS needed a bailout! I would avoid this location if you are in a hurry or value your vehicle!!! read more

After speak with an extremely rude supervisor she instructed to me that they had put my mailbox on hold and the only way to take it off is by coming up to the post office. Well i wasn't asked if I wanted my box put on hold, why do I need to come up here to take it off? Her whole demeanor to the situation was off putting. And stated before hanging up the phone she will call the police if I come up their irate. As if I give a damn!!! This raggedy ass post office should have been shut down, half the stuff in their barely works, including the workers. The people working in here are dinosaurs;slow as hell. Once I actually arrived at the post office I noticed that everyone's attitude was kind of funny towards me. Assuming that she had already came out and made a statement to them. I honestly don't want to have anything to do with this post office they are the worst. Based on how the gentleman treated me I'm assuming they have a "All for one mentality,"no matter if a person is wrong or right. I been over the post office. Hopefully soon robots will take their jobs and we won't even have to deal with actual people. I mailed 5 birthday cards from the PO boxes in front of Hen House at 83rd & Mission Rd on 3/26, realizing they would not be picked up until 3/27. 2 of the cards were never received & I can't reach anyone at the PO to complain. I called PV PO & got a recording that the mail box was full! Terrible service! read more

I sell items online on various platforms and this is the closest post office to my house. Lately several times they have not scanned in packages that I dropped in the drop box (the most convenient way to drop off packages at this post office... both for customer and staff). This causes problems when you're selling online, because it makes it look like you never dropped off the customer's package - resulting in customer complaints, inquiries, and negative feedback. It also causes damage to my business because the selling sites all have algorithms that check whether a shipping carrier has scanned in the item or not - and you get dinged when they don't get scanned in by the next morning. Dinged meaning my items show up lower in search rankings or hidden all together. Not to mention customers try to cancel their orders and it causes problems for me receiving timely payment (which is all based on the tracking) From now on I will have to take my items to the counter and have the staff scan them 1 by 1 since they can't seem to do it properly when I do it in a more convenient way for everyone. The staff today on 4-20-21 (a lady, didn't get her name) at the counter was unwilling to hear or understand my complaint, and why it is important that my items are scanned in, even though there was nobody in line behind me. read more

Close to the highway so easy to get to. No line when we visited so that's a plus course. We just pop in for some stamps and we were in and out within five minutes. What took the most time was choosing what stamps we wanted. read more

Even by post office standards, this place is dark, basic and run down. But you expect that. It's a post office. It's small, and can get cramped during busy times. However, the staff here are among the friendlier staff at USPS locations that I have come across...so they have that going for them. Parking here is odd. You'll see it when you come. Small lot, and a weird layout. Just be careful. And the location is odd too...I never knew it was here, tucked down a side street well off of Roe. read more

The complaints are funny to me. Lucky to have USPS. If you want a nicer building and more paid staff, gladly donate or visit a local UPS or Fedex (they're everywhere). YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Don't expect to pay $3 for a package to be mailed but want every little thing to be new and swell. Lines to mail? God forbid lines! It's an affordable place to ship that gets the job done. Not five stars because obviously there is always improvements! Could be out of their control. Let them pay to fix everything and they'll be out of business (you'll be forced to not use them ha). They take your package, ship it, and don't lose it=you pay for the service. They could be unorganized and lose packages all the time or mis-charge, etc but they don't. Put yourself in their shoes or go somewhere else. I'm sure fedex would love to have you for a $15 visit! read more

I had a package that was unable to be delivered to my house because I wasn't there when it was delivered and so I requested that it be held at the post office for me to pick up later. A few days later, I went to the post office and was told that the package was not there and they were not sure where it was. They didn't give me a tracking number or look anything up, just told me that they had no idea where it was. Thanks. I spent a few weeks trying to figure out where it was and finally talked to someone at the post office who was able to find it in the back. When the person I talked to found it, she said it had been there too long and so would be returned to sender unless I could pick it up that day. I tried telling the person on the phone that I had spent a lot of time trying to locate this package and that is why it had not been picked up yet. I also explained that I was out of town and would be unable to pick it up that day, but I could have someone pick it up for me or I could come by when I got back into town in a few days. The person I was on the phone with said that I could not have anyone pick it up for me and that they could not hold it for a few more days, even though it was USPS's fault that I could not locate my package and I had already tried picking it up once. Seriously? Terrible customer service. Makes me wish the mail was managed by private companies that actually had to pull a profit to survive. I will never use this post office again......but what do they care? read more
