I needed to mail a package so left a little early to stop by my local post office. This is my first…read moretime there since moving. I have to say, I greatly miss my old post office. They are open 8:30-5. For most people who work, this ensures they will open after one leaves for work and be closed before one returns. I was hopeful to just use the self service machines for my needs, but they do not have any at this location. I was not the only one inconvenienced by this as two other people came in at the same time I did and found it quite absurd that the post office isn't open or doesn't have services at convenient times. It is not a shock that the postal service is doing so bad. They still charge rates that are really low for the service they provide, this is why I go there over UPS or FedEx. But when people can not even access the services, that can not be helping an already bad situation. Bring back the self service machines, saves on labor and provides 24 hour access.

I get hung up on shipping as the costs vary widely, I don't always know what box to use, and it's just a general black hole at times. They'll get you set straight here and usually with a smile. The prices are what they are, sometimes fair, sometimes a bit high but it's on par with any other shipping services as far as I know. It's also very easy to get in and out here. There is street parking, the ability to walk a block or two, and even their own little lot attached to the west side of the building. A regular staple for me as someone who works remotely and it's always quick and easy.

It took…read morea little longer than anticipated but I think there was an issue with the camera that was resolved. The guy helping me made sure my photo met government guidelines for passport photos and was the correct size. I got the exact picture I needed for my new passport and was off. I noticed they do a whole variety of packaging and shipping options. Looks like a great place to bring care packages that are needing to be sent. Since I only used their passport photo services I can't speak to anything else, but if you are in the area and need a new photo I recommend going here!
